To everyone who is having a rough go this cycle - just want to offer lots of creepy internet hugs.
@BertieMeetsGertie Good luck with the doctor - hopefully they will be able to offer some insight or testing @Shan870 Have a great vacation! @zwink1 FX you get good job news! I've been job hunting too, and there are a couple of companies that are keeping me in limbo - it gets so frustrating! @KhRun17 That's awesome that you figured out such an effective (and easy) way to get your DH to help out more! I may have to try and see if it works with mine too! @hupp0013 Sorry for the impending CD1 - make sure you have lots of wine and chocolate on hand! @swimsister Congrats girl! @spiderlover25 Ugh - I'm glad the doctor said things were normal, but I agree that a second opinion might be a good idea. That doesn't sound normal, and you'd think they would want to know why. I mean, if he gave you a reason and said don't worry, that's different. But just nothing showed up so don't worry - not as reassuring. FX for you.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: the usual - PNV, herbs, BBT/CM charting, green tea, waiting for my OPKs to get in
R/R: Rant - it's Monday. Rave - I actually managed to get to the gym this morning even though I was still sore from my workout on the weekend.
CS/Q: nope - just waiting for my FW - and hoping that it lines up with DH getting home from his business trip
GTKY: Fudge! My family has a tradition that we make old fashioned fudge (no condensed milk or marshmallow to thicken it)... it takes a good hour from start to finish, including about 20 minutes of beating it by hand - but it is worth it! We only make it at Christmas, and only when everyone is around.
@wabash15 - I love productive days like that! Glad your painting job is done and looks good! @swimsister - YAY for awesome times!! @LuND - thanks. Yeah, I think a lot of us were hoping to time it that we could say something at holiday time. My dad, my FIL and my mom all have birthdays around this time of year too, so on top of Thanksgiving and Christmas, we had a lot of fun chances to tell people. Rough. Thank goodness for TB! @JulesDP - I feel like your leftovers remind me of "the moist maker" from Friends. I hope someone gets that reference.
@baileygomez I LOVE sweet potatoes with marshamllows I just discovered them a few years ago but I have never tried maple syrup. I am so trying this this year!
@LuND Oh girl, you are having a rough day!! I have definitely injured myself after a few glasses of wine too. Hope you heal up soon. As for the hive, I am allergic to everything so this little guy seems like nothing... I just LOOK like a weirdo haha
@BertieMeetsGertie Good luck with your Dr appt. You sound super organized and I hope they take the time to review it all with you in a comprehensive manner! Make sure to update us! @adirat I remember a recent grad who just HIOd whenever she saw EWCM which I think translating to her starting earlier than she had in the past and it worked. It certainly cannot hurt to keep going until you see a switch in CM! @lulu1180 I hope not charting is helpful to you! I also wonder if it is subconsciously putting pressure on me too. I haven't been temping so far this cycle and I feel a little less obsessive. I do want to temp to confirm O because I have had a couple fake outs in the past with using only OPKs but after that I am going to stop again. My RE isn't even interested in my charts and I do feel like I have enough data at time point. FX for you this cycle! @zwink1 I hope you get good news! It is such a terrible feeling to be in limbo like that! @KhRun17 Sorry about last cycle and I hope the meditation helps you going forward. This is such a rough process mentally and emotionally! @swimsister Awesome to hear about your meet! Way to go! @Sailing_Mama Fudge sounds delicious omg!
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, probiotic, green tea, diet, OPK, CM, HIO

GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday food? geez. The cranberry sauce.. of that brie puff pastry with the hot pepper jelly.. so many things really
WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPKs even though I don't need to yet, pre-O herbs
R/R: I'm so excited for tonight! We are having a holiday demo for my direct sales biz I'm in and I am so.freaking.stoked about our newest products. Plus DS is in the process of taking a great nap, I'm having a good hair day, and DH is making dinner tonight.
CS/Q: Just the normal zig-zag garbage that happens every month. I'm actually looking forward to getting this testing going..my first blood work is on Thursday. FW is nowhere in sight, but at least Thursday's blood work will show my OB that I haven't yet ovulated. Then he wants to do another blood draw two days after my temp rise. To prove I'm right? I have no idea. But it's a start.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday food?
@KhRun17- Sorry about the new cycle. I like the meditation idea. I
have generalized anxiety/panic disorder and meditation helped me immensely in
that department. Also been thinking about getting back into it for TTC. Oh, and
YES… ALL the cookies.
@swimster- Congrats on your swim meet times/winning your
meet!
@LuND- LOL aww sorry about your cat urine boots! Toes are useless.
I (*think*) I broke a pinky toe once tripping over my own yoga mat at yoga
class. Hurt for weeks and couldn’t do anything about it. Useless.
@spiderlover25- I hate it when something’s clearly wrong and
the Dr is all “you’re fine” after 1 exam. It’s so frustrating. Can you get a
second opinion? Hoping you get answers soon.
@virginiaham- So
sorry for WTO at CD39- that must be incredibly frustrating. Love you gif
though- quite fitting.

WAYDTGKU: charting BBT/CM
R/R: My dog broke a large tooth off Saturday night. Of course, because he can’t
do that during the week when a vet is open. So I had to go in late to work
today so I could take him to the vet. He’ll need surgery tomorrow to extract
the rest. Sigh goes my wallet. On the upside- he’s acting 100% normal and was
begging for food right after it broke. Not even fazed and is eating everything
as usual. What a weirdo.
CS/Q: Nope… still hanging out waiting for things to happen… and hoping my cycle
isn’t 44 days again.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday
food?
OMG I’m loving everyone’s foods! Just when I’m trying to get
ahold of myself from the Halloween junk. As for me, I’d have to say COOKIES.
They are my weakness and my reason for living. (Lol) I like to try a few new
holiday recipes every year, but my favorite is peanut butter cup. (Basically
the Nestle chocolate chip recipe with crushed Reese’s cup minis instead of
chocolate chips.)
@virginiaham , I'm sorry about the WTO at CD39. Keeping my FX for you that O happens soon! @crazypuglady , I hear you about the tooth extractions. My cats have the coverage plan at Banfield Hospital (Pet Smart associated I think), but one needed a tooth out last year. Even with the coverage, it was painful. At least your pup is happy and begging?
WAYDTGKU: Temping, pnv, CoQ10, vit d, levothyroxine, dha, cm
R/R: Rant: I geared up to O and then it never happened. Have had lots of watery CM the last couple days and my temp nosedived this morning, so maybe O is soon? May also be anovulatory, which also happened after my last *TW ... miscarriage in February. *end TW
Rave: it's the holiday season, and I get to decorate this week! Christmas decorating makes me happy, so I'm going to use that to keep myself from going BSC while by body does whatever it's doing. Also looking forward to my RE appointment next month.
CS/Q: None now.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday food? All of it! We do a breakfast casserole on Christmas morning (newer tradition) and I just love that.
@KhRun17 I did the being crushed by AF thing last week, was so sure.. So I'm here with you, girl Hugs for you, and let's make a pact that next time we get our hopes up it will worth it Glad that you found a way to get DH pitch in with the chores - and such an elegant solution: "your" to-do list. You are a wise woman
@wabash15 good to hear your kitchen renovation is going well Are the color look as good on the wall as you expected?
@bswishe4 Indeed, Internal Happy Place is great, when I manage to locate mine colleagues can be stupid, weather can be bad, ppl can step on my toe on public transportation... and I just don't care. So GL finding yours
@LuND Hugs for you, it can be tough to be there, be a good friend and just let sad personal feelings slide. Hold on girl, it will be our time one day. But I have to confess, until that from now on I will just celebrate every new cycle with about a gallon of red wine :P Clearing our mental plate!

Sailing_Mama Kudos on the workout! I envy people who can workout in the morning. I cannot seem to motivate the energy to do it or if I do, I get physically nauseous by working out in the early morning.
crazypuglady: Sorry about your dog breaking his tooth. Our dog tends to do things at the worst time too. She ran into a fence poll a few years ago at 11pm on a Saturday night. She laid down and stopped moving, so we were worried she injured her spine. So we had to go to the ER vet and didn't get home until 3:00am. $300 and some sedatives later, they told us to have her lay down for a few days and monitor her. She was fine...but our wallets took a hit.
Thanks, everyone, for the hugs and well wishes. I had a somewhat frustrating day at work dealing with fixing something I shouldn't have had to do, but for whatever reason I came out feeling like a total badass so hey I'll take anything to make me feel better at this point. Hugs back to you!
@spiderlover25 Thank you for the diet recommendation. I am interested in making more dietary changes for ttc after the holidays (too hard to do in Nov amd Dec) and was planning on an anti inflammatory diet for endometriosis but I will check out what you recommended.
R/R: I had to take a month or so off from posting. I was crazy busy working full time while also getting through my cna certification. Things are finally quieting down. I kept my fx for all you awesome ladies on here while I was gone and am always rooting for you guys.
CS/Q: None tonight.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday food? Cranberry sauce from scratch.
Sorry for my p&g today. Mondays are always busy at work for me.
Thank you all for the good luck and crossed fingers!!! I'm really hoping something pans out; and soon!
@KhRun17 I'm sorry that you had a rough af weekend. A potential fix for getting DH to help out more is good though.
@swimsister Big congrats on the great swim meet results!!!
@spiderlover25 I'm sorry you had such a frustrating experience with your Dr. It's so upsetting when they don't take your concerns seriously. I get it to some extent, but still. Hopefully he is right and nothing is wrong, but I also hope that the tone he used to convey that info was appropriate. It doesn't sound like it was.
@crazypuglady Sorry your little guy has to go in for surgery tomorrow. Isn't it crazy how some of them can act like nothing at all is wrong? Our terrier mix somehow literally poked a, rather large, hole through the skin and into the muscle of her side. She acted like nothing at all was wrong, and we don't even know the exact time of day she did it because we didn't notice anything was wrong until my sister saw the little bit of blood on her side (she has longish hair). Luckily she was fine after it was cleaned out and she got a few stitches.
Edit: Because plurals don't need apostrophes. Thanks auto-incorrect.
