How far along are you? 5 weeks + 4

How big is baby? Size of an apple seed

Upcoming appointments this week? Not right now. Might change if I get the results of my test back today / depending on what the results are.

Any new symptoms or changes? My bloating has for the most part gone away. I am not as hungry as I was the first week I found out but I am still eating a lot but I am finding out quickly what baby does and does not like lol.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I have a dental cleaning in 3 days. The appointment was made before I was pregnant (6 months ago). Is it safe to have teeth cleaned when pregnant / early in the 1st trimester?

How are you 5+4 on a ticker change day? 

I read that yes its safe to go to the dentist, but I would decline xrays.

Upcoming appointments this week?  Ultrasound and *fingers crossed* last appointment with RE.  I'll be sad to go, the entire clinic has been so amazingly kind and welcoming.  However being released to my OB means everything is going as it should so that's good.

Any new symptoms or changes?  They come and go, but mostly some nausea, cramping, fatigue, but unable to sleep at night.

GTKY: What is your favorite book or movie?  The princess bride.  Love the book, love the movie.  Still have a huge crush on Cary Elwes.  True love lasts a lifetime.

@SaphireSweetie88 I'm reading a Mayo Clinic book about pregnancy, and they said going to the dentist is fine.  Just tell them you are pregnant.  They said even x-rays should be okay because the radiation isn't close to your uterus and they use a lead blanket to protect you.  If it was a stomach x-ray, I'd be more concerned.

@Itsnotyourturn FX for your appointment today!  So glad that everything is going well so far.

How big is baby? So tiny, not sure it can be compared to anything

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope.  First appointment isn't until 12/9.

Any new symptoms or changes? Symptoms are just starting.  Still having some dull cramping.  Sore boobs like woah.  Nausea started yesterday - earlier than expected.  Hopefully this isn't a bad sign haha.  I'm kind of happy to have symptoms though, since that is telling me that baby is still growing.  It's so early I'm still scared this is a chemical, but I'm still testing every day and the lines are darkening.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Work is crazy right now, so I'm hoping not to post and ghost but we'll see how it goes.  I have so many questions, but I'll spare you ladies and save them for my doctor haha.

GTKY: What is your favorite book or movie? My favorite book I've read lately is Into Thin Air about the 1996 Everest disaster.  Not a happy book for sure, but a crazy story and well written book.

@Itsnotyourturn- Will do! I am thinking of calling them today when I am on lunch and giving them a heads up so they don't get blindsided the day of my appointment.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea! Ugh. Nothing sounds good but junk food. Like French fries and ketchup. And I'm normally a decently healthy eater, but veggies make me want to gag. 

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Wish the cramping would go away! I get a sharp pain in my left side from time to time. It doesn't hurt as much this week as it did last week so hopefully it goes away. Of course, thoughts about an eptopic pregnancy have entered my mind, but I think that would hurt a loss worse. I haven't had any bleeding or other problems. 

GTKY: What is your favorite book or movie? The Silence of the Lambs - book and movie. I haven't read it in a long time.

Any new symptoms or changes? Spotting has slowed down. Some food aversions....can't eat ice cream anymore

Any new symptoms or changes? I feel foggy, I'm exhausted, fell asleep at my desk the other day. My boob pain practically doubled in intensity last night, to the point of constantly waking me up.

@MrsMaxwell95 - I hear you on the boobs hurting! I have to get up slowly in the morning because my boobs feel so heavy that they hurt when I move. Thankfully that goes away after a couple minutes and then they are just tender the remainder of the day
