How far along are you? 7 weeks

How big is baby? the size of a blueberry 

Upcoming appointments this week? None for baby until 11/21, but I have to see a podiatrist on Wednesday because I injured my foot a few weeks ago. Might be a fracture, but I want to avoid any x-rays if possible, so we're going to talk about options on Wednesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? More smell aversions, but morning sickness is still pretty mild yet.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children?
Thanksgiving. I love getting together with family and friends for a big delicious dinner. It's my daughter's first thanksgiving this year, so I'm not sure yet how the day will change.

it's a guess but I calculated myself as being 7 weeks today since my LMP was in July and that's no good lol.

I have an appointment on the 15th, so hopefully we see what's going on in there and that everything is all good.

Same sore nipple nothing much else.

I work a lot so I'm always tired, that's my rant lol 

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children?  I don't have a favorite holiday since I don't celebrate anything really. I guess I always liked New Years. I'm not sure if anything will chance with children, maybe much more if grandparents in both sides decide holidays are important lol.

@babypi big delicious dinners are always awesome! Are you excited for it being your daughters first thanksgiving?

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes!  Ultrasound on Tuesday!  I am so excited to see baby or babies (we transferred 2 embryos in our FET).  I will be excited whether it is 1 or 2, but I am secretly wishing for 2!

Any new symptoms or changes? Morning (all day) sickness has really set in these last few days.  Also food aversions like crazy!  Everything sounds gross.  Well except Decaf Gingerbread Lattes from Starbucks.  Those are amazing!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children?  Favorite holiday is definitely Christmas.  I have always loved Christmas but it is so much more magical with my son.  He is 4 and he is already so excited this year.  When we are in the store, he is like "Mommy, give me your phone so I can take a picture of that toy and send it to Santa!!"

@MimoCa I am really excited about her first Thanksgiving. She is just starting to get really interested in big people food, so I'm excited to let her try all the foods she can. We are flying to my in-laws for it too, it'll be nice to let her grandparents dote on her all weekend. Lol

Any new symptoms or changes? Lots of fun cramps, constipation, etc.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: It’s Saturday!  Rant: I have to work until 10:00 pm. Boo.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children? Christmas! I’m looking forward to starting some traditions with just our little family. I’m also hoping this might encourage our extended families to come to us (at least the first year or two) instead of traveling to other people’s houses.

@abjm0325 - OMG you and I have the same appointment date (11/22). Is it with your doctor or just a nurse appointment? Mine on the 22nd is with the nurse (unless things change after Monday)

@SaphireSweetie88 Yay for Nov. 22! Mine is with both the nurse and the OB. They are also planning to do an ultrasound, but I'm nervous that at 6 weeks it will be too early to see anything.

I'm 7 weeks. Looks like there are quite a few of us due July first! 

Baby is the size of a blueberry. 

No appointments till my 12 week scan ( I've already had a midwife appointment and two ultrasounds).

New symptoms... my boobs are getting more and more painful and sore each day. 
 
Rant/Rave: My hubby is off work with a broken hand till the new year (broke it in October) and he can't sleep very well lately so he keeps waking me up and trying to talk real late on the night... I wouldn't mind at all but I'm still working full time and I need my sleep!!!

GTKY: Thanksgiving definitely!!! I don't think it will change much, probably will just make it harder to prepare all the food. 

Loved reading all you ladies updates, fun to see who is due around the same time!

How far along are you? 5 weeks.  Its funny, i found myself jealous of you 7 weekers reading through this post

Upcoming appointments this week?  N/A.  My first appt isn't till December 8th.

Any new symptoms or changes?  boobs are sore AF, and tonight having some abdomen cramping which is really not fun...

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm in grad school and I really wish these last few weeks of this semester would just get over with.  I'm sick of sitting in class and trying to "participate."  

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children? I live for all holidays, and i think the coolest part of being an adult for the holidays is spending them with your kid.  Especially now that mine is old enough to really enjoy them.  Unfortunately, the worst part about being pregnant over the holidays is no booze.  Wah.

Any new symptoms or changes? Just sick,, tired, smelling everything, and my boobs are killing me.  Nursing my 14 mo is an effing nightmare but neither of us are ready to wean completely.

Rants/Raves/Questions? See nursing comment above.  Rave: maternity leggings.  Where have they been all my life?!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children? Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving.  We already have one child.  Things didn't change much last year.  I don't expect things to change much with this one.  Eventually we'll probably stay home and do our own thing more instead of going over to my parent's or inlaw's.

Upcoming appointments this week?  Second ultrasound on Friday!  Really need the reassurance of seeing that heartbeat again after having stomach flu the last couple days.

Any new symptoms or changes?  Since being sick and feverish, I've spotted brown a bit and have been cramping more.  Really hoping it's nothing, but worried of course.  The spotting could be from the ultrasound last week, and seems to have stopped.  I hate this early phase!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Rant: I am so tired and I have lost all interest in doing well at my job!  I just want this semester to be over now.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? How have/will your holiday traditions change due to children?  The Fourth of July.  Presumably will not get to go see fireworks this year, but I'm OK with that!
