So, today I was in the ER due to just not feeling right and some blood. I have had 2 previous miscarriages and one healthy pregnancy and now I SHOULD be 6 weeks. They did an ultrasound, granted it wasn't even by an OB, it was just an ER doctor. They could see a gestational sack and MAYBE a yolk sack but nothing else. My levels were at 2699, super low. On October 28th they were 50.
I honestly don't know if I was legitimately that far off, even though I've had positive tests for 2 weeks.
I know theres nothing I can do..and I hate being in limbo. I can't be seen until Tuesday..
Update: We saw a baby AND a heartbeat today! I'm measuring 6w4d instead of like 7w5d based on my LMP. How crazy?! I'm still stressed about it..but I'm feeling better. My due date is now July 15th
@BabyBump2 - I am so sorry to hear you're going through this! I know it's hard to relax (Wednesday I was an emotional wreck) but worrying and stressing isn't going to help anything. HUGS
Here's what helped me: - Knowing I had support from ladies on here (seeing their comments) - Take deep breaths with your eyes closed and let them out slowly. - Try and take a nap. You might feel more relaxed after. - At night I would rub my belly and talk to the baby (seems weird but worked for me)

FWIW, I was at the OB on Wednesday and thought I was 6w1d. They did an early ultrasound and found an empty sac, but did measurements and said I was 5w5d. I was told that it was not at all abnormal to not see anything that soon. I got a positive test 2.5 weeks before the appointment.
@BabyBump2 so sorry you are going through this. It could just be too early. Spotting is always scary though so being anxious is normal. Hope the spotting stops. Sending lots of sticky baby vibes your way!!
@BabyBump2, yes, when you ovulate makes all the difference in the world. Your luteal phase is fixed and is typically only 14-16 days long. That means, if you don't get pregnant, your period shows up 14 to 16 days after ovulation. That means that (and it's a common misconception) you do not, in fact, ovulate in the middle of your cycle unless your cycles are exactly 28 days. Ovulating late means you can't get pregnant until later in your cycle, which means you are actually only as far along as the date of conception. The LMP is a jumping off point, but is only accurate in women with standard, reliable 28 day cycles. If you ovulated late, you absolutely will not be as far along as you think you are.

Praying for you, i dont think your numbers are too low, maybe you ovulated late and implanted on the late side, so your not as far along as you thought....
I know they look for a double every 48-72 hours, could just be a slow grower... try to stay positive and not stress too much! I know ESTD!
Fingers crossed for you!
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses.... All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

Since I am feeling fairly crazy at the moment, there is a HCG doubling calculator that I found and with those two numbers, 14 days apart my doubling time was 58.4 hours..
Hang in there - being in limbo, especially after a previous loss is so impossibly hard. with numbers 14 days apart, a doubling time calculator may not be helpful. Just try to find a mantra/affirmation you can concentration on.. "I am pregnant and having a baby in July" is my current go to.

Well, they didn't do blood work. They did do another ultrasound and saw a yolk sack for sure this time. They said my gestational sack was measuring 6 weeks. I have to wait another week to go back now...so another week in limbo. I don't even know if this is normal?!
@BabyBump2, take it for what it's worth, but my last pregnancy, I was literally in awful, awful limbo for 4 weeks. First ultrasound (around 5 and a half weeks), they saw a sac but no fetal pole. Second ultrasound, a week later, there was a fetal pole but no heartbeat. It wasn't until 8 weeks that we actually FINALLY saw a heartbeat. I know limbo sucks and it is so hard to think about literally anything else. But if a yolk sac developed, that means baby is still growing. Have faith.
Again, your mantra for today: "Today, I am pregnant."

From my calculations I thought I was seven weeks pregnant when I went for my first ultrasound, but turns out I was only measuring 5 weeks. They could see the yolk sac but no baby or heart beat. I was told this was normal and to come back in 10 days. At that appointment we saw the little baby in the gestational sac and also saw the heartbeat.
May just be so early in pregnancy they can't see much yet. And ovulating late makes a huge difference in how far along you are! My midwife calculated I was due June 12 but the scan came up with July 1st. Big difference. Best of luck to you and keep us updated!
@ktewart I'm trying really hard to tell myself that. I'm just not feeling too optimistic about this, especially with my numbers and stuff.
@Perfectypo , I mean I don't know exactly what day I ovulate just what days I get positive OPKs, so who knows how far I'm off. I wouldn't suspect too much, but what do I know now? Ha. And even if I am still that early that would mean that I found out when I was like 3 weeks and some change. How is that even possible?

@BabyBump2 I got a positive test a week after my period was due and I would have been just under four weeks then. I also have a friend who is due in June and she found out in week three. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. Hope everything goes well.
Thank you ladies for all of the kind words and encouragement. I messaged my OB team and the nurse pretty much just said they won't draw blood because they've seen signs of a pregnancy in my uterus. And to relax and drink water and think happy thoughts because they have seen perfectly normal things so they aren't worried. Luckily my intake appt is tomorrow so they have to draw blood ha.
I went to my intake appointment today, and my nurse was the lady who messaged me yesterday. We had a nice long talk and she said she'd get me a blood test. So I will have my results tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed, but hoping the best, preparing for the worst.

Got my levels back. They went up to 7770 (on the 16th)Which isn't doubling in the least. They were 2699 on the 11th. The nurse didn't seem concerned. She was happy they were rising. I'm concerned that it's rising so slowly..

I do have a random question though, if you ovulate later in your cycle, does that make a difference?
edit to add that I got a positive opk on CD 18&19 and a positive pregnancy test on CD 29 (4 days before my missed period)
