My doctor says not to worry, but why do they even tell me then? I read it could cause a miscarriage . Has anyone tried the exercises that are supposed to help move the uterus to the upright position?
I was told when I was pregnant with my daugter that my uterus was tilted, but my OB wasn't concerned and said that it is actually not uncommon. My uterus became untilted and the baby grew (sometime before 20 weeks) and it was never an issue. I just had some lower back pain in the very beginning.

I have a tilted uterus with my daughter and it evened itself out as baby grew. I asked my OB with my first pregnancy if it could cause any problems and they said no- I had a healthy, full-term baby girl
I went through so testing prior to getting pregnant and had an ultrasound. They US tech actually said "oh, you're one that has a tilted uterus". I didn't really think anything of it. I don't think she was saying it in a bad way. I've had one child (wasn't ever told my uterus was tilted then) and she's fine. So far so good with this pregnancy now too.
I have a tilted uterus. No one mentioned it with my first baby and she was breech so I always wonder if my tilted uterus caused her to not turn.
My second they told me my uterus was tilted. I also had an anterior placenta with him. My doctor said the tilt works itself out in second trimester. It can make you measure slightly behind and also make early ultrasounds or Doppler a little harder. But I went on to have a quick an easy natural birth and everything was perfect.
I did have a MC with my third pregnancy but I promise it had nothing to do with my tilted uterus.
This pregnancy the ultrasound tech said it was tilted again but didn't have any issue seeing a heartbeat at seven weeks. It's really not at issue at all.
I have a tilted uterus also and my doctor told me the same thing yours told you: don't worry about it because it won't cause any problems. I was doing my own research on-line and found that approximately 90% of women with a tilted uterus will have their uterus shift into the "correct" position by 12 weeks as the ligaments that hold the uterus in place loosen and stretch.

My mom has a severely tilted uterus - like it's very difficult for her doctor to do internal exams as a result of it. She found it difficult to get pregnant the first time (over a year), and we were both breech (which is apparently quite rare, and was blamed on a combination of the tilted uterus and the fact that she is 4'11'' so there wasn't much room in there for us) so she had two C-sections. but we were both born at 39+ weeks completely healthy. I wouldn't worry about it if your doctor isn't worried about it.
Yup, like yours they told me at 6 weeks mine was tilted back. However, I was assured that most of the time it is not a concern, sometimes it can be a problem but it is rare. On 11 weeks 1 day they said it was already starting to tilt back to the correct position, so I shouldn't even worry. They did have a hard time using the Doppler, but said after 12 weeks it shouldn't be an issue anymore.
I have a tilted uterus and had a healthy pregnancy with my DD. She was sunny side up when I was in labor and they tried getting her to turn but she wouldn't budge. I ended up having a c section from not being able to fit her out. She had a big head
(Lurker) I have a severely tilted uterus...my OB pointed it out when I was 16 and went for my first pelvic exam because it was difficult for her to get up there, haha. I carried my son with no issues and my uterus straightened up on its own during second tri - there was never any discussion of increased risk for miscarriage or of exercises to bring it up. Like PP said, my son was breech for a long time and flipped late, and when he did flip he didn't fully straighten back out and got his head stuck sideways in my pelvic bone and I needed an emergency CS, but, again, my tilted uterus was never discussed as the reason for that (I do have a pre-existing issue with my pelvis that was the likely cause...my pelvic bone didn't 'give' the way it normally should have to let him come down).
The only thing that I noticed that was "different" from my friends/family members pregnancies was that I showed really late. I didn't look even remotely pregnant until I was 26 weeks with DS, and now at almost 20 weeks with my second I still look relatively normal and fit into all of my pre-pregnancy clothes. Even when I was 40 weeks with DS and went to the hospital, they thought I was joking that I was full term, because my belly was pretty small looking. I had a lot of back pain because he was sitting so far back instead of popping out (and he was a 10 pounder), but other than that a completely normal pregnancy.
Anyway, sorry that this turned into a novel from a lurker!
@SnarkasaurusRex same for me with barely showing! Except this time around I look 7 Weeks further along that I actually am and it's still tilted far back
My midwife tells me people with a tilted uterus tend to have more back cramps during their periods but nothing to worry about. My son turned out just fine... No miscarriages and on pregnancy number 2 at 13 weeks now.
