I am wondering the same thing! I was comparing my ultrasounds from DS and this pregnancy and the sac/yolk and the side the baby is one are completely reversed! Wondering if this is telling of anything? My U/S were also transvaginal.
Ramzi theory accuracy is exactly the same as a completely random guess: 50%. so I'll guess boy?
Honestly though you likely don't even know what side implantation occurred on from a picture. you don't know what angle that is, you don't know whether that particular ultrasound machine shows actual side or mirror image...unless you asked your tech what side it was on, you won't be able to tell. sorry.
OP at 7 weeks your placenta is barellllllly just starting to develop. It's a 50/50 chance. This theory has also been disproven. That being said, I;m going to go ahead and say your having a unicorn.
