I went on Instagram last night for the sole purpose of searching #fitpregnancy and silently willing them all to hell. I am just beyond sick of the emails and "inspirational" posts from pregnant ladies telling me "don't let it slow you down" "pregnancy is not a sickness" "no excuses" etc, etc, etc. And good for them. The exercises I see them doing I literally cannot do without collapsing in pain. This SPD is getting worse and I might be looking into physical therapy soon just so I can stand long enough to do the dishes and play with my kid on the floor and maybe occasionally take a walk around the block. And a few people have asked how I am doing in the last couple weeks. My answer is to tell them I have pretty severe pelvic pain and then they tell me they totally understand because they had pain when they were 35 weeks pregnant and had to stop running. Well, I am 18 weeks pregnant and today I cried getting out of bed because it hurt so much. I get that I probably am annoying with all my whining and what not. But it's not like I come up with these excuses just for fun. My pain is probably not like the pain you experienced in your pregnancy. Also, DH, don't roll your eyes at me when I tell you I physically am not able to take the recycling bin down from the 3rd floor out to the dumpster by myself. And I will NOT "ask you a littler nicer". Get off your ass. I am killing myself making your baby.
Wow, I feel better. I needed that .Thanks.

@mrsstuessy I feel your pain, literally. DH is luckily really understanding and helpful but a lot of my friends and family are complete dicks about it. just rolling over in bed has me crying out in pain. Doing the most basic of tasks is excruciating. I'm also looking into physical therapy. Hoping we both can find a better way to cope soon!
DD just threw a fit at the lunch table, pushing her bowl of mac and cheese across the table. She wouldn't apologize, so I took her straight upstairs for her nap.
Then I sat and listened to her scream/fuss/whine "I want my mac and cheeeeeeeese" over the monitor while I ate it all.

@cafedisco, love it! For all the ladies with pelvic pain (PP), I have some friends who are pelvic PT and they see pregnant women with PP. So if you can I suggest going to see a PT who specialized in pelvic PT. They are definetly underused and might be able to help. I hope you get some relief soon.
