GTKY: Did you follow the election results last night ?

How far along are you? 15 weeks

How big is baby? An orange I believe. Feeling and looking like more than that. 

Appointments this week? Next Monday. Just a routine check. 

Symptoms? Headaches are killing me. I notice more so on the days I skip my morning coffee. I still feel incredibly moody and easily frustrated. I really was hoping this would end by now. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Ugh. Well... besides feeling too hormonal still. I mean, when will this end?! I never was so easily frustrated with my boys. Also, the sex. I'm originally team green. But now I'm having a really hard time not knowing. If this is a girl this will likely be our last. I feel like I need to know and maybe I'll enjoy this pregnancy more. DH is now all about waiting. It's a daily convo and always ends in frustration. 

GTKY: Did you follow the election results last night? Sure did! Can't believe I stayed up to watch until 12:30 but I couldn't help it!

Appointments this week? None until 16 weeks. 

Symptoms? None really. It's the magic lull.

GTKY: Did you follow the election results last night ? Normally I wouldn't have but I was up a LOT thanks to my toddler cutting two of his 2 year molars simultaneously and refusing Motrin and Tylenol.

Appointments this week? 

My NT scan is scheduled for next Tuesday and I'm a bit nervous because MH can't come with me. 

Symptoms?

I'm still pretty nauseous. And lately, as the day goes on, my belly feels bigger, but then the next morning it's back down again. 

Rant/Rave/Questions?
I'm still pretty nervous about this pregnancy and don't really feel pregnant. I don't remember feeling this way with DD.

I followed for as long as I could until I fell asleep on the couch.

Symptoms? Headaches

Rant/Rave/Questions? I am also still feeling pretty nervous. Now that a lot of my symptoms are gone, I don't feel pregnant. I don't really notice my belly getting bigger regularly because I am bigger to begin with. I feel like every appointment is me hoping every thing is still on track and going well. I hope this feeling goes away when I start feeling the baby.  This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me. Anyone have any experience with this?

Appointments this week? Yes, NT scan this afternoon.

Symptoms? Exhaustion and nausea is showing itself again.   Headaches are still pretty bad and daily.  

Rant/Rave/Questions?  I'm coming up on 2 loss dates, in the next week, and my anxiety is pretty bad.

GTKY: Did you follow the election results last night?  No, I was working at my 2nd job.  My son was home watching and texting me results as they came in.  He is only 10 but very interested in the election. He was pretty cute.

14 weeks, peach. Next appt is the Monday before Thanksgiving.

Symptoms? Still some nausea, headaches, insomnia. Thirsty all the time. I've had some funny twinges in my abdomen. I'm guessing that's because things are moving around and stretching? No noticeable bump yet.

Rant/GTKY combo special: Yeah, I watched the results. I live and work in downtown DC, blocks from the White House. The sadness is palpable around here (92% of voters in DC went for HRC, including me). The results overshadow all the excitement I had about ending the first tri. Now I'm just binge eating depression donuts and wallowing in utter disappointment.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Lots of stuff going on at work and all the pregnancy emotions have me ready to cry at the drop of a hat. DUmb.

Appointments this week? nope, have one a week from today

Symptoms? Doing better.  Last week I threw up a few times, but so far so good this week.  Even just the smell of salmon cooking made me throw up last week.  I didn't cook salmon this week, as thankfully they were out at the grocery store - I'm not eating it this pregnancy, but my H and son eat it.  So overall, doing better, although I wouldn't say I'm 100%.  Unfortunately the food aversions (protein) are here to stay most likely, like they were with my first pregnancy.

Rant/Rave/Questions? So my mom is crazy - she has paranoid delusions and other issues, but won't admit she's got mental health issues.  Lately she called me and left a message that she won't be visiting us anymore - according to my dad, she's too paranoid to leave the house much these days because people might be spying on her or trying to steal her journals/other stuff.  So I've just had enough. Completely cutting her out of my life. She may as well be dead to me at this point.  She's never been a very nice person and her refusal to get professional help is just the last straw for me. And I didn't even tell my parents yet that I'm expecting #2.  

GTKY: Did you follow the election results last night ? Stayed up until midnight or so, then went to bed depressed.  Woke up around 3:30 am and checked online to see Trump had won.  I couldn't fall back asleep for at least 2 hours, I was so upset.  I've been agonizing over it all day.  Lucky for me I have a 2 year old who's oblivious to all this crap in the world and reminds me of what really matters.  But I still can't help but worry about the repercussions of all this.

@IvyMagic828 I'm sorry about your mom.  That is hard decision to make but I understand.  I also have issues with my mom.  My stems from her not wanting another baby and telling me my whole life that she didn't want me. I am treated like a stepchild in my family because of that.  I really want to make the same decision and stick to it but it is so hard.  I hope everything works out for you.

Thanks @JonesBaby0624 . And sorry to hear about your mom, too.  That sounds really rough as well that she treats you that way.  We'll see how strong my resolve to ignore her is.  Frankly, it'll be easier now that she has no desire to travel up here anymore - she lives several hours away, and I certainly won't make an effort to go down there.  In a way I feel a bit bad for her and somewhat guilty because she is obviously struggling with mental illness, but if someone in that position won't admit a problem and get help, there's not much else I can do I'm afraid.  It's just not something I want to subject my family to any longer.
