GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage?
Actually...American, lol, which I know kind of kills it, but its cool. My family has been here since the second ship after the Mayflower. I am related to quite a few people in American history books, which is fun. We fought in every war until Vietman, and on both sides of the Civil War. Prior to coming here, my dads side came from (obviously) England, and my moms side came from Germany.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, will start opk on Saturday, preseed, green tea
R/R: Many times in my life I have been proud to be an American. Sadly, today I am ashamed. Ashamed that we selected a President that doesn't celebrate our diversity. Ashamed that women are seen as objects by the man who will hold the highest public office. Ashamed that the people voted for a man who has zero relevant experience to be President. Ashamed on many other counts as well, but I'm too tired to list them all. @Dilynne (and my other Canadian gals here) do you have a guest bedroom available for the next 4 years?
CS/Q: nothing. Didn't even temp this morning because I probably only got 2-3 hours of fitful sleep.
GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage? This hasn't been verified by DNA or anything, but according to my parents, I'm 100% German. CS/Q: Last month I asked about ovary pain when ovulating because I had so much pain while HIO around O. The responses I received were that I probably had gas. I'm having pain again that resonates around my right ovary while HIO. It's only in certain positions (missionary for sure) and doesn't seem to matter if it's around O. I researched some and found that it could be cysts that would cause the pain. I had a very large cyst removed in 2010 from my left ovary while on BCP but had zero pain then. Anyone have similar pain when HIO or any thoughts? And I realize you can't see inside my body and diagnose me

Rant: I can’t stop crying. Hilary Clinton has been pounding her
fists against the glass ceiling of the Presidency for years, but she has not broken
through and she probably never will. I don’t agree with all of her policies,
but she has done important work for women in this country that I pray Donald
Trump doesn’t have the power to undo.

I’m ¾ Polish. The last quarter is a mix of English, Welsh, Irish
and my grandmother claims a little bit of Native American, but I have no
details on what tribe or if that’s even true.
@ChefRamsay I cried listening to NPR this morning when they
talked about Hilary calling Trump to concede. I think crying is an emotionally
healthy way to deal with this today.
@ChefRamsay I think kids crying is the saddest part of this election. I've had numerous people on my fb timeline say when they told their child who the new president was they broke down in tears. Kids from ages 5 - teenagers. It just breaks my heart for them
@swimsister I think we all needed the puppies today!

GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage? I am African American but mother's father and his sisters/brothers/parents are all 50-90% Indian. We come from two different tribes and my mother has told me over and over the names but I cannot remember. They also have many old family photos of the Indians that they put up every year at family reunions. It is pretty awesome to see. I couldn't believe it when we first found out....explains why my hair grows so long and is so thick Let's not forget the high cheek bones!
R/R: It is a beautiful day today. Slow at work which is lovely. Tomorrow is my "Friday". DH is a new man with TTC. He is fully onboard this month and ready to go ! Last month he was feeling pressured and wanted to just "chill" this month he is waking me up at 6:30 and telling me to take my temperature. Love it.
CS/Q: Nothing yet.
GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage? I am not really sure. I know there is Scottish somewhere in my history.
R/R: Im just baffled (& terrified) about what happened last night. I'm Canadian, and obviously can't vote, and have just been watching from the sidelines, but really?!??!!! My parents are snowbirding in flordia for a month right now, hopefully they make it home before a wall is built
CS/Q: Restless sleep/not sleeping a solid 3hrs straight has what kind of impact on your temp? Usually higher? Because that's what happened to me this morning. Tossed and turned, woke up at 4:30 to check my phone to see who won, then tossed some more before my alarm went off.
GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage? My mom is English. Came to Canada in her 20's. My dad side has some Scottish & Dutch.
@bumpybump I get O "pain" (more like a pulling, not so much painful) on the day I O. I have noticed I feel it more when HIO. I don't have it any other time through the month though. If you do talk to your Dr, I'd be interested to know what they say.
@BertieMeetsGertie I couldn't agree more with your rant. Like I said, it's mind boggling! Have to laugh at the fact that the Canadians Immigration website crashed this morning.
@swimsister I can't even bring myself to listen to NPR today. Since we're all home on a sick day I think some movies are in order.

R/R: I slept zero last night. I'm slightly hung over. I'm scared and upset. I took my trigger shot this morning at 2am. There was this teeeeeny part of me that was actually conflicted over it. I so hope that if I am so lucky to have a child of my own, that my biracial child will grow up without the racism and bigotry that just showed it's face in this election. But I guess rave is that the trigger was basically painless. Just some slight burning.

CS/Q:Nope..just hanging out waiting for things to happen.
GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage? 1/4 Italian from my mom's side, and I think some distant Scottish mixed in. Some Irish on my dad's side (maiden name was Clayton ) the rest is a mystery. (Although my grandmother on my Dad's side said we have Native American roots, and we are related to Pocahontas.. but no one in my family looks NA, and I never really believed her lol)
I don't know about everyone else's offices/work today, but ours is especially somber. I'm so sorry for all the teachers and parents that have to explain to their children what happened (and how it could). Here's my support for you all...
@Dilynne GL with your appointment next week! I'm also seeing my (new) gyn on Tuesday to discuss my spotting concerns. @antoto I'm pulling for you so hard! I sincerely hope that you will get to have your child and raise him/her to appreciate his/her background. We should all be appreciative of our diversity and not afraid of it.
R/R: I did cry this morning and I probably will again later today. My heart hurts.
CS/Q: I think I'm going to ovulate tonight or tomorrow, I got a postive OPK this morning. I can't really rely on my temps right now though because I drank last night, and my bbt was up this morning as a result. So all the sex.

American...among many other things. But I am an American, which is supposed to be inclusive, a melting pot and proud of our diverse heritage. Today, I was reminded that while it's 2016, not everyone feels that way.
@Anna_1021 Ugh isn't that the worst? I was in a meeting yesterday in SO much pain... but was also like, I don't think I can stand up either at least we can have wine to numb the pain! I don’t agree with all of her policies, but she has done important work for women in this country that I pray Donald Trump doesn’t have the power to undo.
CS/Q:
GTKY: I would like to celebrate our diversity today. What is your ancestral heritage?
I’m ¾ Polish. The last quarter is a mix of English, Welsh, Irish and my grandmother claims a little bit of Native American, but I have no details on what tribe or if that’s even true.
@ChefRamsay I cried listening to NPR this morning when they talked about Hilary calling Trump to concede. I think crying is an emotionally healthy way to deal with this today.
@shstephenson @GeorgiaWife6912 FX for you both!
Also, puppies... just because.

WAYDTGKU? Prenatals, herbal supplement from my naturopath, BBT/CM charting, green tea... going to add OKPs this cycle, and may switch to temping vaginally to see if that makes a difference
R/R: Ugh... slept so poorly last night, between AF showing up yesterday afternoon and the election results. Plus my manager is being beyond unprofessional (see my rant in TW Tuesday), and I have to figure out how to deal with it today.
CS/Q: Nothing to see on my chart - but question for ladies who temp vaginally... Anything I should know? Was there anything that surprised you when you made the switch?
GTKY: well @ChefRamsay, you can add more Germans here! I'm a mix of German (on both sides), Scottish and French... But none of it is close enough culturally to be relevant to our family traditions and such, so I usually just go with Canadian
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: Same ole same

Last month he was feeling pressured and wanted to just "chill" this month he is waking me up at 6:30 and telling me to take my temperature. Love it.
CS/Q: Nothing yet.

@bumpybump I get O "pain" (more like a pulling, not so much painful) on the day I O. I have noticed I feel it more when HIO. I don't have it any other time through the month though. If you do talk to your Dr, I'd be interested to know what they say.
@GeorgiaWife6912 & @shstephenson yay for crosshairs!! Good luck, ladies!
@BertieMeetsGertie I couldn't agree more with your rant. Like I said, it's mind boggling! Have to laugh at the fact that the Canadians Immigration website crashed this morning.

R/R: Sadly this made a big decision for DH and myself. We were trying to figure out where he should do his Post Doc, and now we're to scared to stay in the US. My husband is going to quickly finish up his PhD and then we will be moving back home to Canada. Honestly, I'm very happy to move back home, but it shouldn't have to be out of fear.
