When is your next appointment? Had a bunch yesterday- MFM, Cardiology (echo for me), and OB for 1-hour glucose test (and a great nap in one of their comfy recliners) and my 28-week Rhogam shot.
Symptom changes? Constant lightning crotch, three ocular migraines in ten days. BUT I'm sleeping better and having less hip pain at night.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Somewhat jarring surprise at my MFM appointment yesterday: if my low-lying placenta has not moved up another 2cm in the next 6 weeks, they will want to schedule a C-section around 37 weeks. I knew the placenta was low-lying but not previa, and they had said it wasn't a major concern. This is the first I'd heard of them wanting to do a C despite absence of previa. It's definitely not the worst news in the world, and several C moms (including my own) have pointed out potential benefits of this new possible plan. It's just not what I was expecting to hear!
GTKY: What's your favorite holiday tradition? I come from a music-loving family, became a performer and married a musician, so music at the holidays — caroling, singing in church, playing holiday music on the radio — is a huge part of the holidays. This year will be very different, but we'll make sure this baby gets serenaded!
