What's new with your little babe? How far along are you?

OMG I have an eggplant! I'm officially in the 3rd trimester at 28 wks!! I'd do a dance if my hip wouldn't pop out of socket! 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?

I'm actually going to finish painting. I decided to paint trees on the wall instead of ordering a decal. Because, what else would you do at 28wks preggo? I'll also hang up his name/letters.

Lots of movement, yay! Feeling like Jabba the Hut trying to turn over in bed, boo. 

When's your next appointment?

Thursday, GD test. Blech! 

GTKY: Do you have a birth plan written up, or are you just going to go with the flow?

Not really, we know we're having a csection, so the only thing I'm going to ask for is post delivery--I want it to just be me and DH in the room when our first son is brought in, let him see me and know I'm okay (hospitals freak him out) and then have baby brought in, so just the four of us can be together for a little bit, before family comes in and all that jazz.

What's new with your little babe? How far along are you? He's the size of a bushel of asparagus. 31 weeks today!

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival? Mainly just helping my sister organize and plan for my baby shower next weekend. And stalking my babylist registry on the hour to see if anyone has bought anything for the baby.

Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: I set a record for peeing last night. Got up three separate times! I jsut want some sleep.

When's your next appointment? November 14th.

GTKY: Do you have a birth plan written up, or are you just going to go with the flow? I found a template online that I am using. It's short and sweet. Hopefully it'll get my point across.

What's new with your little babe? How far along are you?
30 weeks! A zucchini according to the bump but on my photo app it says a tub of ice cream, which I prefer . 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
Our crib arrived today! As baby is sharing our room with us we've gone with this co-sleeping crib that is super popular here: https://www.johnlewis.com/chicco-next-to-me-crib-dove/p1861201 One of the sides zips down and you can attach it to the bed.  I'm also making H set up baby's dresser this weekend. 

AND I had a major freak out earlier this week and decided I'd like to look into hiring a doula, so I'm interviewing two potentials.  We'll see.  H was a bit surprised, but given how I am (ie anxiety prone) I think it's a good idea...

Feeling large.  Can't believe I'm going to grow a lot more! And like @gonetothesea LOTS of nighttime bathroom trips. I've had some nights where I've had to go four times. UCH.

I have a very loose idea of what I want but I'm not going to make it into something super solid as I know birth can be unpredictable!

Putting nursery together officially. got the crib and dresser put together last weekend. Thinking of Hospital bag necessities !

Feeling the little one move more,  less sleep and more bathroom breaks.

Sitting at Hospital now waiting for my rhogam shot. And 3d ultrasound this afternoon!

I think for the most part go with the flow. which seems nuts as a FTM and I'm usually a huge planner.

Just bought a new house last Friday so I am finally starting to get the nursery together

Starting to feel the nesting coming on.  only major symptom change has been extreme irrational emotions.  I keep feeling so lonely and unwanted for no reason.

30 weeks! Oh my, just 10 more weeks to go. DH's eyes went bonkers when I told him that this morning haha!

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
Decorating the nursery a little bit. Was going to order a decorative vinyl but it says itll arrive Dec 2 - 20. That's whack!

Agreeing with @AlabamaRedhead about feeling like Jabba the Hutt. It's also getting harder to get up, and I'm just being overall uncomfortable. 


When's your next appointment?
Wednesday. Regular old check up, already got my tdap, rhogam, gd test and flu shot.

GTKY: Do you have a birth plan written up, or are you just going to go with the flow?
FTM so going with the flow? DH says I like to be in control of what happens, and birth is not something I think you can control, so it'll be less stressful if it doesnt go as planned. Because there is no plan, just a general idea lol.
