Furbaby Friday?

There was a suggestion on the Oct random thread about maybe starting a Furbaby Friday thread since we seem to have so many adorable animals in our lives. Even if it ends up being just a one time thing instead of weekly, I thought it would be nice to have something to coo over before babies start arriving.

This is Luna. She's 8 years old, is missing slightly more than half her teeth, and is absolutely attached to H. As soon as I bring out my laptop, she's on my lap trying to distract me from work.

The loves of my life! First pic is Murph, he is 6.5 yo and just needs a little boy in his life so badly! Ricker is 8 (almost 9), she was born a mama and has taken care of so many babies, just not her very own yet! I'm looking forward to her having her own and not stalking all the strollers while we walk, I don't think people believe me when I tell them it's the dog that has us following them around the neighborhood...

This is my 6.5 year old kitty, Finster. I like to say he is half infant half 14 pound sack of potatoes. He just couldn't handle the stress of game seven of the World Series lol.

This is my sweet kitty, beezus. She and finster are litter mates but you would never guess by looking at them lol.

This is Fibi. She's been with my husband for 14 years, since she was a kitten, and is completely obsessed with him. (She likes me, too, thankfully.) When she's not snoozing, she likes to talk, lick our hair, and roll in whatever dirt she can find.

Best thread ever!! This is Albus and Kingsley, they are both Harry Potter wizards and Great Pyrenees dogs. They are the most gentle of giants.

Here is my sweet girl, Nola........ I got her (probably very irresponsible of me) when I was a sophomore in college living in an apartment that allowed no pets. We made it work somehow and she is 5 years old now. She likes to likes to stake out high places for her to jump up into and "observe." (And to get away from the dogs) However, if she notices you not doing much she will come and snuggle with you! She loves to get some good head scratches in.

And here is my Ruby girl.... She's a mini schanuzer! And she lovessssssssss snuggles and her ball. She's a very anxious little girl and will always be a puppy at heart. She's almost 7.

Yeeees!

This was our first furbaby, Mamacat. She's 8 years old. My husband and I adopted her our senior year of high school When I'd sneak over to his house in the middle of the night she's always attack me, and my husband said she was like another mom, hence her name. I can't even remember what we originally named her

This is Pluto the dog (almost 1) and our other cat Bear who is 7. We found Bear as a kitten in the engine of my car, and Pluto was a farm stray .

and this is my baby Pepper. I was always a cat person until I got her. We've had her for two years but she's probably about 4. She is a sassy monster dog and even though Pluto has a solid 50 lbs on her, she runs this place.

Here's my 3 year old labradoodle Crosby. He's 70 pounds but thinks he's a lap dog. Here's him right now after a recent hair cut and then him with his usual fluff.

So excited for this board! This is my baby Ophelia, but we call her O or Fatty. We got her over four years ago when we started dating because the local shelter had a free cat day. She's definitely attached to my hip. DH calls her my little sheep. Also she thinks the nursery is her room. And she'll cover her little eyes if you turn on any lights while she's asleep.

DH has a German Shepard named Lulu. He got her about a year before we started dating. She's overly attached to him. I'm nervous for how she'll handle the baby. She's a nuisance so I don't have any good pictures of her. And yes, both her ears flopped down because of ears infections. She's the only dog I know with such sensitive skin.

These are my lazy fur babies. The chunky brindled one is Lucy and the little black one is Oscar. They are both 6.5 years old and we adopted them from a shelter when they were about 12 weeks old. They are total opposites and are both fascinated/terrified by DD.

Awesome thread! This is Athena. We adopted her from Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals when she was 6 months old, just before DH and I got married, and she's now 6 years old. Her hobbies include: being held like a baby (even in a sling!), going for "walks" in our front yard on a harness, and "hunting" strings, mittens, socks, and now baby bibs and burp rags in the middle of the night.

This is mr. Kenworth...or Kenny, Kenneth James, Ben, Benny, Bear, Buddy...anything my girl decides is his name for the day.
He is 5 years old and is the laziest dog ever. I usually refer to him as a cat dog because he could seriously sleep all day long.
Pretty sure he hates the kid, probably because he got booted down the totem pole when she was born, poor guy.

This is my perfect pup, Mischa. Her hobbies include eating, sleeping next to people's butts, and generally being judgey. She likes playing with big dogs because she thinks she's a big dog.

This is my first baby Lucy. She's a mini schnauzer and has had a haircut since this pic was taken! She's my babyyyyyy. Licks everything and is the absolute sweetest dog. She's about 6 and I've had her since she was a puppy.

This is Ethel and my husband and I have had her since a kitten as well. She's about 2 and loves to snuggle when it's *her* idea.

And here's our firecracker Carol (Carol Purrnett) and she's about 1 1/2. She was a rescue that we found on Facebook. She mostly sleeps on our bed, but loves scratches and will grab your hand and bite it to make you do it. She also loves to come hang out when you're peeing.

@underthesea I wish! Husband and I were born and raised in Oregon (grew up mainly in Salem) but now are exiled to the East Coast (for my grad school), where such things as vote-by-mail, good coffee, and laid-back people are harder to come by.

This is Colby, he thinks he runs the house.. I got him after my sister died and I had ended a serious relationship. He was my savings grace! He will be 5 at the end of November!

My husband and our two fur babies. The big blond one is Tucker, our yellow lab. He is a gentle giant and is now almost 6. The little brown one is Champ, he's a Jack-in-the-Box (Jack Russel crossed with Boxer) and he is an absolute spit fire - full of energy but has a sweet temperament and he's 4. Both of them are big cuddlers.
