Uterine Artery Notching?

Has anyone experienced uterine artery notching before? after my 12 week ultra sound/blood test, I was referred to a specialist based on the results of my placental growth hormone. I had an ultrasound at 18 weeks that showed notching in my left uterine artery, the doctor said that it should clear up by 22 weeks but it's something to monitor. At 22 weeks, the notching was still there and he didn't seem overly concerned yet... he's having me come back at 26 weeks (2 weeks from now) and again 2 weeks after that. I can't seem to find too much online about this other than it may be a predictor of preeclampsia or IUGR.
Has anybody had experience with this currently or in the past? I'm just trying to figure out what to expect moving forward... Thanks!
