1. WE ARE FINALLY GETTING OUR PUPPY - for anyone from the TTGP board you'll remember we have been on a wait list for a puppy for about six months now. 2. After putting our Dane down this past April, I am so ready to have a fuzzy puppy to love on again. 3. Our 21 month old son is going to be so EXCITED to have a puppy. He loves our cat so much that hes going to adore a dog. 4. I finally have my first checkup this week and will get to hear about the little raspberry is doing. 5. I have my performance review this week and I plan to ask for a raise. Fingers crossed. 6. Our son had the greatest time of his life trick or treating for the first time and was an adorable dragon. He wouldn't let anyone else carry his candy bucket. 7. I am starting to feel a bit better on the nausea front - hoping this is an improvement that will stick around. 8. It is November which means Christmas shopping! 9. My in-laws are staying with us at Thanksgiving and we are going to use the opportunity to tell them we are expecting #2 10. 1. Nov 1 - Peppermint mocha is back a Dunkin. I had a decaf this morning and can't tell the difference.
2. Re: the above, I didn't intend to cut back to zero caffeine, as a person that had a 5-6 cup/day habit, but I've completely reset my tolerance. I'm now getting majorly wired (even a little bit of palpitations) if I have a full cup. This is a big achievement for an addict like me!
3. ToT - all of my kids (6, 4, almost 2) had a blast and were friendly and polite going door to door. No whining or anything.
4. My birthday is this week
5. Dr. Strange comes out on Friday (I mainly care because of Benedict Cumberbatch)
6. It's restaurant week in this city and so many great restaurants have tasting menus, hoping to do dinner and a movie for aforementioned birthday.
7. One of my direct reports may be applying for a position in another department. I can't stand him so it's amazing news.
8. Every day with pregnancy symptoms, no bleeding, and getting a step closer to 2nd tri is a good day.
9. I had an amazing tahini chocolate chip cookie with lunch today.
10. Saving the best for last-- My BFF is pregnant and due in June too!!
