The discharge just got real here too. Looks like I'll be wearing undies with my pajama pants now.
The constipation is unreal. Colace 2-3 times a day and it's still a battle. I've started using the toddler potty stool as a squatty potty on the regular. Husband keeps offering to bring me home enemas but I don't think I'm that desperate yet. Also I know he wouldn't mind but I like to pretend there is some mystery left with our marriage maybe buried deep down somewhere, haha.
I got some maternity tights off Amazon to wear with skirts this fall/winter. They can be sized up or down, which I was psyched for. I wore them to work today (I teach), and they keep slipping down! I'm not a little girl, but I need a bigger bump to keep these things up. It's embarrassing to walk around class knowing the crotch is hanging low (even though the skirt obviously covers it).

Also, I finally know what people are talking about when they say they have a metal taste in their mouth! & now I'm having more trouble drinking water. *sigh*
I've managed to drink it slowly by eating fruit with it lol
I can't stop staring at my boobs! I've always had big knockers but this is ridiculous. I finally got a new bra and had to go up 3 sizes. Then the other day I put on a button down shirt and my girls looked like they were going to bust thru. I had just worn the same shirt 2 days ago with no problem. My husband commented that he's a little afraid just how big they'll actually get.

Same!! I went from a DD to an F with my first. An F to an H with my second. The damn things never went down. I'm terrified what's going to happen to me this time.
Hahaha @jenshoes and @SparkySunDevil MH is so grossed out every time I have gas. He gets really dramatic and makes a gagging noise...how romantic, right!?
@emilyalso That is a brilliant idea! I have the same problem with leggings falling down, so bad that the crotch ends up by my knees. Since my pregnancy with DD1, my underwear fall down the same way. I'm so tempted to just reach down the back of my pants to pull them up, but that would look a little pervy in the middle of the grocery.
Yes to the discharge, so gross. I got a new prescription for Diclegis (had finished up my old one and thought maybe I didn't need it anymore ....WRONG!!! I paid for that by throwing up four times yesterday and surviving only on Pedialyte Popsicles and saltines. I am feeling slightly better today than yesterday after having taken the medicine last night and this morning. I guess I'll have to keep up with the 4 tablets each day for at least awhile longer. I haven't vomited today, which is a big improvement and while food is still not appealing, I was able to keep oatmeal and saltine crackers in my stomach so far this morning. So YAY for that.

Anyone else feel like they smell funky? I don't remember this smell from my previous pregnancies- I feel like I need to shower multiple times a day and change clothing? I think it may be a mixture of rank smelling discharge and general body odor- I am grossing myself out!
@MamaMiller, my nose is crazy sensitive right now. I don't feel like I smell bad, but what I keep noticing is the scent of soap on my hands and for some reason it smells terrible right now. I do feel like every scent in my house is really amplified and keep opening windows to try to air it out. Everything smells gross to me.

I fear that I just literally cannot eat dinner anymore. If I eat anything resembling a normal sized meal in the afternoon/evening, I am up in the middle of the night with icky/gurgly/queasy feelings. Not so much gas or constipation, just feeling miserable. I think I'm just going to have a bowl of cereal for dinner from now on. Anyone else experiencing this or have any tips?

Yes. I get SO full, especially in the evenings. I had an apple and an english muffin at 4pm yesterday. Worked out for an hour at 5:45pm, ate a bowl of cereal at 7:30pm and felt SO full until I went to bed. No tips, besides the obvious of eating smaller meals, but even that isn't a huge help.
my husband is bugging the crap out of me about sex. I just can't. I bled every time we did it last pregnancy and I'm not up for that, plus everything is sore from stretching and at night I have such bad heartburn and am exhausted. Why would I want to do anything?? I've been trying to help him out, but he just whines about it not being sex. UGHHHH
and yes @MamaMiller, I feel like i smell funny too! I noticed it after delivering my first and then it went away but it reminds me of that. it's strange, I don't usually smell this way!
@blueberry312 I'm the same!! I haven't eaten a real dinner in weeks. My poor husband has basically had to fend for himself because even cooking is just too much for me most nights. Even now that my constant nausea seems to be subsiding I still feel awful every night. Again, sorry no tips!
Ok ladies, PLEASE stop feeling bad about not cooking dinner or having sex. Our SOs will survive. They can take care of themselves, on both accounts.
YASS. If DH ever whined about not getting sex (especially if he was getting something), he'd be whining from the guest room.
Luckily he's not doing ANY whining. I just feel a tad bit guilty because I work 2 days a week and go to school 1 day a week... so often he gets home from work at 5 and I'm still in my PJs and I say "what are you going to pick up/make us for dinner tonight? Also, here are the 1.5 things I'm willing to eat at this second. But they might change in 30 minutes so act fast."
@ShadeofGreen816 Totally get it. DH has cooked practically every dinner for the past year. I used to do 75% of the cooking, but now he gets home earlier than I do. So basically, I come home to a home cooked meal all week. He also does most of the dishes, 100% of weekday morning DD care, and 50% of any night of the week DD care. This division of labor has been in place since before I was KU'd. Do I feel bad? Yes. Will I do anything about it? Probably not.
I should also add that this is partially driven by his annoying tendency to clean. I don't like dirty but could live in clutter peacefully. DH does not tolerate clutter and automatically picks things up when he's buzzing around the house.
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I'm insanely jealous. I cook everything and clean everything. DH can make ramen noodles and a pb&j. We joke that if we ever got divorced he'd hire a prostitute to come in and cook and clean for him.
@ShadeofGreen816 I'm having a hard time looking at your siggy and not cringing every time lol
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot Our husbands sound just alike when it comes to cleaning. He can't stand clutter and we constantly fight about it. Having two kids does not help the situation! You're so lucky that he cooks, though. Mine claims he doesn't know how to cook anything but grilled chicken and frozen vegetables. It's not like we don't have a bookshelf full of cookbooks. He could just pick one up and find a damn recipe!
@Laurieday10 my husbands version of cooking is buying fast food. i don't mind though. I've asked him to make burgers at home tonight, we'll see how it goes, there is a big chance it will turn into buying burgers out....
my husband could not be farther from y'all on the cleaning though. When i got pregnant this time and all but gave up on our house, it turned bad FAST and my husband acted like he didn't have a clue what needed to be done. Thank goodness that in the past week or so I've felt up to cleaning some again. while i wasn't cleaning I think our bathroom went about two months without being cleaned (i made sure to clean our daughters though), one load of laundry sat for four days in the washer, the dishes only got washed if they fit in the dishwasher and the rest of the cleaning literally didn't get done at all... it's kind of pathetic how little he knows about our house. His mom never made him do any cleaning and I did it for him while we were in college... my bad. I once asked him to polish furniture, and he literally started polishing my wingback chairs with wood polish. Oh well, thank God he's great at a ton of other things and when I'm not pregnant I really enjoy keeping our house nice.
I should also add that we have a housecleaner that comes once a month to do the scrubbing (bathrooms, floors, dusting, etc.) With our work schedules, we couldn't keep up with everything once DD came along. So DH mostly straightens clutter every day and does dishes. For some reason, he never wipes down the counters or table. That drives me nuts but I can't really complain since he does everything else.
MH is not very clean but I tend to be a bit sloppy too - now more than ever! He grew up in a home where his mom did literally everything. However I am actually reaping the benefits because ever since I started grad school his mom, grandparents, and great-aunt and -uncle insist on coming up once a month to clean the house and do our laundry. I've always appreciated it but sometimes it made me feel like a bad wife... but they came last week for the first time since I've really been pregnant and I literally cried when I got home from work everything looked so clean and I could still smell the PineSol. So I can't complain!
