I decided after putting up the last wall decal in the nursery, to start some DIY artwork, I found some adorable prints and just have to frame them. Baby girl will have alot to look at in her beautiful room

My glitter fart is my husband. He's been working his tail off at work, and then coming home and making tons of progress on our master suite. (We're trying to finish it before the nursery & he's going out of state for 5 weeks next Monday.)

He installed the window blinds, all the door trim, all the baseboards,

the light fixtures, and sealed the grout in the bathroom. Since Sunday.

There's still a ton to do, but holy hell is he working on it. Me? He's been waiting for me to finish patching & repainting the trim nail holes since Sunday afternoon & I went to bed at 9 last night cause I had a cold and was a baby about it.

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! So excited that now we actually know where we will be living when we move in December! It's 5 beds, 3 baths, with upstairs laundry (Im obsessed!) and a gigantic kitchen to roll out tons of bread and pasta dough and baked deliciousness on! Send me all your favorite paint colors, because I'm awful at picking out colors that flow!

Last night, between houses while ToTing my 5 year old scurried up to me and gave me a huge hug and said, "thanks for making us such great costumes". I love her. She is the most thoughtful little girl.

Congrats on your house!
I would actually leave the walls the color they are and add color with your decor.

all of this! I would leave the walls as they are. It gives you the chance to be really creative and decorate pretty much however you want.

I only have 3 wall colors, cause I'm a chicken

. I used this website to pick them: https://www.favoritepaintcolorsblog.com/ ,because you can cheat and see what they look like irl.

ETA: I do really like that neutral though, it matches the tile & the carpeting perfectly. Maybe if you feel froggy you can find a color or two that goes with it.

Congratulations @TeacherMom2517, the house looks beautiful!

My AW is house related but because of work. I had a closing today of a deal that was like my craziest of all time. If I didn't love these clients so much I probably would have left them, lol. Financing fell through, appraiser couldn't appraise it, but we worked it all out in the end.

I love my job.

Thank you ladies! @Spicyweiner, I think we will leave the neutral for downstairs and just paint the dining room, baby nursery, and our bedroom. Maybe the bathrooms too. I wish I had a knack for interior decorating but I suck at it! Most of our furniture is dark, so we definitely need some lighter decor to spruce things up a bit!

@Lafreeman21 that website is wonderful!!! I love it! I think I need to make a Pinterest board for al of this... haha

Congrats on the house it looks great!!

My AW is that my girlfriend who is hosting my baby shower just told me that the shower will be at Bouchon. I can't believe how generous she is to host it at such a lovely restaurant and I just feel so lucky!! I tried to tell her it didn't need to be anything fancy but she wasn't having it, and was insistent that Bouchon was the perfect place - french and everything. I just feel really spoiled and cannot wait!!

DH booked a fabulous newborn photo shoot for my birthday present. I'm extremely excited, the lady's photos are gorgeous! Now I just have to be patient until February!

Finally had my fetal echocardiogram and growth scan today (follow up to anatomy scan). Despite the 2 vessel cord, baby is doing great and measuring on target---actually slightly ahead. The heart, kidneys and everything else looked great. So I'll have more frequent growth scans for the remainder of the pregnancy, but there's no reason to think baby won't continue to thrive. A HUGE relief and reason to be grateful today.

My coworker surprised me this morning with the cutest pink teddy bear for my baby that says the "now I lay me down to sleep" prayer when you push her heart. It was a very thoughtful gesture....my team had planned to throw me a small shower before we got notified last week that we were all being let go from the company, so I just thought it was very nice of her to buy something anyway.

@TeacherMom2517 OMG congratulations!! I'm so happy and excited for you!! I agree with the others that the walls look great as they are, but I am biased towards the neutrals. Gawd, I seriously can't wait until we finally buy our dream house!
