@berg, the most popular one I see on baby shower invites anymore is Amazon. A lot of Target, too. They used to have a bad rap for returns; I have no idea if that's still the case.
I had no interest in having my mom in the room while I gave birth but conceded to having her there while I labored. I had an epi with DD1 and her nor I tolerated it well. I didn't need the beeping monitors to tell me that. But my mom, who's an RN, couldn't turn off the RN and was so panicky. She drove me nuts.
Not everyone will agree, but I like Babies R Us for registering, especially if a lot of your guests are old school and like to shop in physical stores. They're also great with returns, and have a great completion discount (you get a coupon to buy yourself anything you weren't gifted right before the baby's born), and you can link your registry to your rewards account and earn rewards dollars (like gift cards) on some purchases.
Can anyone give recommendations for registries? Just wondering if any second time moms had a favorite or preference. Thanks in advance!!
@berg I registered at target and they give out a really nice goody bag with free stuff and tons of coupons. Coupons continued to come in the mail regularly as well. And I got a coupon for whatever was left on my registry for 15% off.
@berg I would say Amazon or Babies r us. BRU seriously has the best return policy. They even allowed me to return items not bought from their store. Their reward program is good too. You get 10% store credit of whatever amount is bought off your registry. I had a tougher time returning to target and their rewards aren't as great.
