Hey ladies,

I figured it'd be fun to get to know you all by doing a weekend randoms thread, a place to discuss whatever, IF-related or not! What are y'all up to this weekend?

Great idea! 

I'll be watching the Badger game tonight! My hubby and his coworker are running the Marine Corps Marathon tomorrow so having some house guests, driving them to the start line bright and early, and will be out cheering all day tomorrow around DC. Thankfully it is going to be 75 and sunny so perfect weather for spectating! 

Does Penn State play today?

@mtpbadger They do! The game just ended, we beat Purdue 62 to 24 (hopefully there's no boilermakers here!).

I used to live in Arlington and loved the MCM. That is amazing weather!!!

We are looking forward to the clocks going back in the UK tomorrow morning - meaning an extra hour in bed and an extra hour onto our weekend!!!

That sounds like a fun weekend @mtpbadger, especially if tomorrow is beautiful weather! 

This is is the first weekend in a while that we don't have plans so we're just catching up and hanging out. It's finally a tiny bit cooler here (still doesn't feel like fall yet) so now we're debating finding a porch for some day drinking

Halloween party! It's a good distraction for me but I had to change out my costume at the last minute. I didn't feel comfortable wearing a corset during my TWW.

@20T porch sitting and day drinking sounds like a great Saturday! I'll be bringing some mini wine bottles with me tomorrow to drink while I spectate. Taking advantage of not being knocked up yet!

@babymish enjoy your extra hour this weekend! I am looking forward to doing that next weekend! 

Hubby and I actually met while I was training for my first MCM and have done a bunch together. This will be the first time that he's running and I'm not so it will be fun getting to cheer him on!

@mtpbadger Wow I'm impressed! I've done half marathons, but never a full! If I ever did do a full I'd be interested in the MCM. I grew up in the DC area and just love DC and the MCM route is amazing.

@pennstatecait My first race ever was a half and then jumped straight to MCM. It is my favorite of all time and the atmosphere is amazing! Haven't done a full in quite a few years and stopped doing the halfs when we started IF treatment and I miss them! 

Im glad Penn State beat Purdue, if they lost to them after beating Ohio state, that would just be embarrassing!

@mtpbadger Yeah I was a little worried about us losing after such an amazing win!

I stopped running altogether when we started ttc and it wasn't working. I convinced myself running was the problem (eye roll here, I know). I miss it so much.

My husband and I are watching football now (Go Irish) and then going to Top Golf-one of those high tech driving ranges/bars- with his brothers and their wives and some cousins. Tomorrow we are waking up early to meet some friends at a bar for breakfast to watch the Bengals play in London!

Home alone and having a spring clean! (I'm in the southern hemisphere)
Washing all the curtains and windows which is well overdue! 
Last night I curled up on the couch with the dog and watched a cheesy romcom without being teased!

I had plans to do all these errands and go for a walk at a nature reserve but I'm sick so I've been alternating watching Gilmore Girls and reading Outlander

@LadyMillil sorry you're sick, but Gilmore Girls is a great distraction!
It's in the 70's today (a nice break from the chilly fall weather we've been having) so I'm planning on going for a walk with my hubby and puppy on the trails to enjoy the fall leaves.

@LadyMillil I am so sorry you are sick! Gilmore Girls is a great remedy! I can't wait for the new season on Netflix!!

@Kaseycoco It was nice here too! I spent most of it cooking and grocery shopping though. I meant to go on a run but that didn't happen.

@Monica54321 Um, do you sell these cookies? Because I need them. Seriously girl, you are TALENTED! Teach me your ways!!!! They look so adorable and yummy!

PennStateCait Only problem is it's now messier than when I started- cleaner but messier!
