    1. What # child will this be for you?  This is my 2nd living child.
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? I'm bloody exhausted. Between normal pregnancy exhaustion and being sick, I can't keep up.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? Nothing so far!
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome.

    1. What # child will this be for you?  #2
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children?  She goes to bed at 7, so it isn't too terrible so far.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? Nausea.  I'm actually getting sick this pregnancy.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome.
She is in love with Word Party on Netflix.  Thankfully it isn't too annoying, but Lulu the panda is always whining.  Annoys the crap out of me.  Especially when DD thinks it's funny to mimic her.

    TTC 1.0

    TTC 2.0
16 months TTC, 2 chemical pregnancies, EDD 6/3/17
    1. What # child will this be for you? 2
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? So far so good.  I am tired but otherwise feel pretty normal.  And i'm not certain the tired has as much to do with pregnancy as it does with the fact that my fucking cat wakes me up at some point between 2:30 and 3:15 every night for no reason, and then it's hard to get back to sleep.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? I feel like my boobs might have hurt by now the last time around...but I really have no idea.  Not really I guess.  Mostly I just wish I could take a nap on my couch when I get home from work like I did with DD.  But instead I have to get a toddler fed, entertained, bathed, and into bed, before prepping for the next day, so that doesn't happen.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome. DD doesn't watch much TV at 16 months (really just Sesame Street or occasionally Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), but sometimes I put on Disney Jr and this asinine "PJ Masks" show is on, and it is terrible.  Recently I've just been putting YouTube on the TV with back to back Cookie Monster videos because she is obsessed with Cookie Monster and he is hilarious so I encourage that.
    1. What # child will this be for you? Child number four
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children?  I'm not. I'm pretty miserable in the evening after work.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? The food aversions and heightened sense of smell are killing me this time.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?
    1. What # child will this be for you? 2
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? It's been fine so far. I haven't felt any first tri exhaustion. But, I do miss being able to nap or sleep in whenever I want.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? Yes, this pregnancy is entirely different so far. I have my 6th appointment tomorrow at 7w1d. Last time I had zero appointments until 10w.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome. DS is obsessed with Winnie the Pooh, which I didn't mind at first but holy crap, it's getting old after 100 viewings.

    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? Alright, we have the same bedtime lately because I am so exhausted.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? I feel about equally shitty. Maybe another boy?
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - how is it possible that the ruined Mickey Mouse? "Otoooodlesss" kills me inside.  I miss good old Mickey Mouse and the Looney Tunes.

    1. This will be baby #2

    2. It's not too bad yet. I was way more exhausted the week before my BFP. I haven't felt too bad since my BFP though. So I'm doing ok so far. My son is 2 1/2 anyway so he's pretty good about playing and reading on his own. Mostly he just wants me to sit with him while he plays which is fine by me!

    3. So far I don't really feel symptoms (just about to be 5 weeks). Just strong cravings for savory flavors. But too early to really consider is too different.

    4. UGH! The cat in the hat movie with Mike Myers is the worst! My son was obsessed with it for a month. Thank god it has passed.
  • GTKY - If I have to watch any of the Wee Sing movies one more time I'm going to lose it.  There is something extra annoying about the Sillywhim character (from Wee Sing Sillyville) and Sally (from Wee Sing Birthday)

  • Elyse1384 omg that is a blast from my past - I totally forgot about that movie!!

  • 1. 2

    2. Most of my symptoms have disappeared and I'm only getting super exhausted in the evening, so keeping up is easier this week.

    3. Started out the exact same but then I had about a week of very mild nausea that would hit midday and be gone by about 5. Now it's back to feeling just like #1. But my anxiety is screaming (and beating my logic down) in saying something's wrong.

    4. If I don't like a show we aren't watching. So nothing has really bugged me because I won't put it on if it sucks. I've heard that Caillou is a real douche.

    1. What # child will this be for you? Second
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? My son is 15 months and so busy but I am keeping up quite well I think!
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? Sickness 24/7 - I never had this much MS with my first.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome. We don't watch that much tv and I never put a show on that I don't like.

  • This is my second child, DD will be 2 soon. Some days are fine, but the MS and exhaustion are getting me recently. We only watch Disney Jr. and I'm pretty ok with most of those shows, although I agree PJ Masks is the worst. DD loves Sesame Street, but I only show her recorded shows because I don't want to expose her to some of the other shows, I hear Caillou and Daniel Tiger are whiny little brats!

OK can I tell you this is my own doing.  I remember liking the wee sing movies and Baby Songs movies as a kid.  I couldn't remember 100% so my mom told me and I bought them.  It took one viewing for me to go "I don't remember it being this horrible" and to my dismay DS immediately took to them (purely because of all the singing).  Damnit!

I feel you on Mickey Mouse.  The new format kills me.  DS loves that Hot Dog song and the opening song.  Also there are not true "bad guys" anymore.  I miss the real Mickey Mouse.

How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children?
My symptoms are pretty mild right now so we are doing pretty much the same as always. It is definitely kind of weird to not be dragging ass every night because that was definitely my reality with the other 3 pregnancies.

Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far?
See last question. Maybe I am forgetting how early (or not early) my symptoms started with my previous pregnancies but this is super weird. I have moments of extreme exhaustion during the day but it's definitely not an all-day every-day thing.

DS just started getting interested in Power Rangers.

    1. What # child will this be for you? This will be number two
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? Just fine so far. I have literally no symptoms except hungry and no period. Had cramps last week but they are gone.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far? The lack of symptoms is different. I had them all with my son. I keep thinking every morning when I wake up that today will be the day the morning sickness hits. I suppose it is still early at 6 weeks.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome. My son turns one next week so he has not discovered tv for himself. He will pay attention to what I am watching for maybe 5 minutes. And he spends that whole time waving at the people on tv. I have used Elmo videos on YouTube to distract him though.
  • GTKY:  I don't know why...I am just not a fan!

    1. What # child will this be for you?  #2 (yay!!!)
    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children?  Terrible.  I feel like I'm neglecting my daughter who is so excited to see me at the end of the day and I am so tired that I can barely keep my eyes open.
    3. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far?  I'm twice as sick this time around, but other then that feels similar to my first pregnancy.
    4. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome.  Currently DD doesn't watch TV yet, so I haven't been exposed.  Looking at all these pictures, I'm kinda of dreading it.

    1. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? Yesterday was BAD.  I literally crawled into bed at 7 and told my husband he had to work third shift.  Today is alright though - they are demons today...

    1. Anything majorly different this pregnancy so far?  Still crazy nauseous all the time.  Its awesome when my two yr old or dog wake me up at 2am to know that I'm even nauseous while sleeping.

    1. GTKY - What kid show/movie are you subjected to that you absolutely can't stand (or maybe the repetition has made you cringe at)?  Gifs/memes of offending show welcome.  My oldest will get hooked on a show (as toddlers do) and watch it over and over.  Right now, if he requests Dino Trucks, I make sure that I am in another room.  He has also gotten into Disney movies a bunch and, although its a pretty good movie, knowing all the words to Zootopia when you're 30 isn't truly something I want to shout form the roof tops.

    2. Not well.  I am a mean raging Mom.  Being exhausted is making me mean with zero patience and I feel horrible about it.

    3. I am more nauseas than I've ever been this time around so that is not helping.

    4.  My daughter loves Dora and Friends and my son loves the movie Astro Boy.  Horrible horrible movie.
  • @JessyKV - I hear you on "mean mom" status - and the nausea NOT helping. WTF hormones!?!  Anyway - I remind myself frequently that I had more "me" time when I was growing the other two and that helps get over the mommy guilt to check out when I need too.  (My dudes are 4 and 2 and can play pretty independently when I need to lock myself in the closet with cookies.)  Hang in there, mama.

Wishenpoof, ugh. I used to control more closely what shows they watched, but now my 4yo can use the remote and turn on Amazon by himself, which is so easy, but it means he sometimes chooses.
  • @mrt I fear the day that happens!

@FSUNole31that sounds like the premise for a horror movie

Mine are almost 4 and almost 2 and they do play great together.  It's more their crankiness or tantrums I can't handle anymore.  They definitely have been watching more TV than I'm proud of!

  • @mrt wishenpoof is terrible. The mere mention of it will have "wish, wish, wish... wishenpoof" stuck in my head at least the next 24h.

@bornmommy I can quote most of zootopia too. My children go around saying "it's called a hustle, sweetheart" on a regular basis.

@thatlauragirl I should save my opinion for tomorrow but I am one that really doesn't mind caillou. He's whiny but it is super realistic and models resolving "world-ending to a preschooler" type problems. His parents are perfect role models for gentle parenting/discipline. /overthinking children's programming

    2. How are you doing - keeping up with the other child/children? They crash and then I crash. I've been in bed by 8:30-9.

  • I severely limit tv bc my oldest just doesn't do well with it. And when they watch it's PBS shows. Which I love! Daniel tiger, sesame, etc.

Dh will put on crap for them though like superhero shows and Pokemon and god I hate it all. Nails on a chalkboard.

  • This is my second child.

So far far so good although I'm exhausted and go to bed much earlier than usual. Luckily her bedtime is 7pm.

Its very different. Not as many symptoms. Or maybe I'm too busy too notice. But main ones is that the nausea comes in the evenings usually and I'm breaking out like a teenager. My face cleared up completely with DD so this is odd!

Shes only 10 months old so we don't let her watch tv or any shows yet but man do I hate all the nursery rhymes in her singing book. She loves them and dances to the music!
  • This is our fourth child

Its going OK with the kids. Its definitely a lot easier than it was with my other kids, as my older two are in school full time and my mom is here during the day with my younger while I work. I am super crabby though, so I feel like I'm always snapping at them.

This is drastically different in the fact that I don't have any horrid heartburn (at least yet). With my other three, I had awful reflux that made me worthless. Nothing besides brief moments of mild heartburn so far (and boy do I hope it stays that way!)

I basically hate everything my kids watch. My youngest is into Mutt and Stuf and it drives me nuts. @FSUNole31 one of the characters on Kate and Mim Mim (is she a flower?) drives me bsc with her baby talk
  • 1) this is our second child. I have a son who just turned one last week!
    2) I'm still feeling pretty good so it's been good with my son.
    3) I already feel nauseous with this pregnancy whereas it took me til about 7/8 weeks the first pregnancy to get sick. I felt nauseous before I even tested this time. And I already feel tired.
    4) my son doesn't watch TV just yet (but I'm sure that time is rapidly approaching as morning sickness makes its way into our routine).
