R/R: Rant: The BFP drive-by bugged the ever living sh*t out of me (more than they usually do). I only have 1 OPK left and if it's negative again, I'm thinking of moving to the TWW with the assumption that I O'd early. Not sure if I want this last one to be positive or not. Part of me does just because it seems strange to have O'd on CD 12 (to me anyway - not saying there's anything wrong with it though)

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?

I went to a private boarding high school and my roommate freshman year was horrible. My parents would give me snacks at the beginning of each month and I ended up having to buy a lock box to put the snacks in. My roommate take snacks (without asking), open them and leave whatever she didn't eat open and it would go stale. She also handed them to all her friends as well. On top of that, she and I didn't get a long so she was finding ways to mess with me. When a BF and I broke up, she called me out on it in our Latin class. We sat on opposite sides of the room and while we were waiting for the teacher to arrive, she stood up and asked "SaphireSweetie88 I'm sooo sorry you and so-and-so aren't together any more... guess he found someone better than you". Didn't help my ex was in the same class.... I could go on...

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?  I've been pretty lucky with roommates but for a year I lived with two guys. One I became really close with and eventually starting sleeping with. The other guy got really jealous that I stole his friend so he started saying terrible things to me and treating me awful. Hot roommate and I fizzled out so I moved out.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?  I was going to say I haven't had a bad roommate, but I have.  I had a roommate when I owned my house that was awful.  Well two I guess.  My roommate I had moved his dad into my house after their house got foreclosed on without asking me.  His mom went and lived somewhere else, but his dad moved in.  He used my guest bed.  My roommate also got a cat and I told him it couldn't be anywhere in the house but his room and it scratched a hole in my carpet.  We had an agreement for him to fix the carpet, and he never paid for it.  He also left his parent's freezer for us to dispose of after he moved out, despite telling us it was going to get picked up.  I later learned that he would also go through my checkbook.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?
I was pretty lucky through college with roommates. After college I rented a house with a friend from high school in our hometown. H had gotten a job in another town and I had already committed to working working for a year at a school near our hometown. This was the year before we got married. Well I think the main issue was my roommate and I were in different phases of life. I was wedding planning and missing H and she was partying and hooking up. She was also extremely messy. She would leave garbage sitting on the counter and dirty dishes everywhere until I took care of it. I'm not sure she ever did dishes or cleaned the whole year we lived there. Fortunately we had seperate bathrooms! But even then she wasn't responsible enough to buy her own toilet paper half the time. She would run out, use all our paper towel and then steak a roll from me. She would finally remember to buy some but would only buy 4 rolls at a time so this happened often.. I ended up moving out after 9 months. As it got closer to our wedding date I needed more sanity than that house provided.

R/R: yesterday we weren't able to hio... which kind of ruins the eod pattern. I want to hurry home and take an opk and hio just in case. Lol

CS/Q: no... just kind of bummed I may not be able to exactly pinpoint o day because it could be today or tomorrow since I wasn't able to temp today.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?  Hmmm all of your bad roommates sounded horrible! I had a group of girls that I lived with in college and they could be a bit catty... and then one of them had an affair with another ones bf. (The one who got cheated on i actually liked and was good friends with) It was a mess.

@hupp0013 bummer dh is going to be away for the week my husband used to travel a lot for work, and it was every week during the summers, and it really sucked!!

@sapphireSweetie88 I feel you on the drive by.  I feel like it shouldn't bother me at this part of my journey since we are so early, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way.  Fx the OPK turns out how you want it.  I have irregular cycles and never really know when I'm going to O, so I can totally understand your confusion and frustration. Omg... you're roommate sounds like a complete TW.  I would have a hard time not throat punching her.  What a horrible person.
@laurad75  Sorry security has been awful.  Have a safe flight! I thought girls were the one with "stealing friends" drama, not guys! haha.
@hupp0013  MH leaves tomorrow morning and will be gone for work until Saturday morning.  I totally agree that I am dreading this trip more than the past few weeks! How awkward... he moved his dad in! Wow! He sounds like an extremely disrespectful person.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? I haven't had anyone absolutely horrible but in college I lived in an apartment style place.  4br/4bath so luckily we all had our own room and bathroom.  3 of us knew each other and the 4th person got placed with us to fill the room.  We started out trying to invite her to hang out with us and eat dinner and stuff but she rarely ever took us up on it (like MAYBE once or twice).  She stayed in her room with the door shut and locked all the time.  She would sneak out after we were all in bed and eat our food and snacks and leftovers and then leave the dishes everywhere and go back to her room.  Apparently she was in my genetics class but I literally never saw her one time until the day of the final.  I asked her about it and she said "yeah! I've been in this class the entire semester." It wasn't a big class, 20-25 people so I definitely would have noticed. I guess she just didn't ever come to class.  One day she busted out of her room screaming at me that I had been in her room and went through all of her stuff and took a pair of her boots. She proceeded to start slinging my stuff around looking for these boots (that I didn't take, obviously) and going BSC.  First of all, she always was in her room with the door shut, so how was that even possible? Second, no idea why she chose me to blame.  She didn't stay in the apartment much longer after that.  Oh, and apparently she later found the boots in her car, but never apologized haha.

@SaphireSweetie88 Can you use wondfos to keep checking for a positive OPK? I didn't get my first positive until CD 19 which really surprised me, but it's my first cycle charting and using OPKs so I had falsely assumed I'd be like the average and get a positive CD 12 or 13 to mean I was going to O on CD14. Not the case for me! And your high school roommate sounds horrific, I'm so sorry. 

@mrs35 It looks like you O'd CD16 - I'm assuming that's what FF gives you if you put in a fake high temp for tomorrow? Any chance you were using OPKs before CD17 to catch the start of your surge? And I agree: it's Sunday, let's just not do things together

R/R: Rant: Just. What is happening. Wanted a temp spike this morning, got a temp dip. Rave: preseed has been a total game changer so happy to keep HIO until I'm sure I O'd  

CS/Q: Stalk if you dare. It's not pretty, but opinions welcome!! Since you can't see my symptoms, I'll add that I had AWFUL ovulation pain yesterday. Felt like a horse had kicked me in the ovary (which is how my mom always describes it). That and the positive OPKs indicates to me I have/will ovulate sometime between CD19 and CD22. Guess just waiting on temps to confirm? 

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? My college freshman year roommate HATED me. It wasn't an awful living situation (we were both clean, neat, and respectful), but she literally had us make charts of when we would be in the room each day so we'd never be there at the same time except to sleep (and I often slept in my bf's room due to her aforementioned hostility!).

R/R: I have a phone date with a friend today and am really nervous that she'll tell me she's pregnant. While I'll be happy for her, we started to TTC at the same time and she's gotten pregnant, mc, gotten pregnant again and has an almost 1 year old, so it will be hard to hear if she's pregnant again.

@Pepper16 thanks! When I put in a temp for tomorrow I get crosshairs on cd16. This is my first month temping so I just wanted to be sure! Also my first month using opks. They came in Monday and I was trying to use them in the afternoon and was only getting faint second lines. I drink a TON of water all day so I was worried anything other than fmu might be really diluted. When I woke up to that temp spike I decided to try an opk with fmu and it was positive. Either I have a really short surge and missed the beginning or I need to just use fmu.

@mrs35 FX for another high temp tomorrow to confirm O on CD16! This was also my first cycle using OPKs and I first I got the drug store box, but ran out before I O'd so I bought 50 wondfos on amazon. I was peeing on them every 3 hours to catch my surge and even though I had faint lines, I didn't get my first positive until 5:30pm on CD19. After that, they've all been positive (fmu or otherwise). I've heard that fmu isn't the best to catch the beginning of your surge (because LH takes 4 hours to process through your system into your urine) if you're just testing once a day. So, I think it's possible your surge started on CD16, you didn't catch it on a OPK, and then you turned the OPK positive the next morning. Just a theory!!

@Pepper16 that's my theory too! I am using wondfos too. I had heard the same about using fmu and can't check at work so I wasn't testing until 5 or so in the evening. It wasn't much of a hold though because that's really hard for me to do. In the future I might use fmu and the evening check. Even if I didn't catch the beginning of the surge it was still reassuring to get one +

ugh. My roommate and friend at the time in college was the biggest hoe and constantly slept with people that I was involved with. I kept forgiving her but eventually I lost it and yelled at her. She proceeded to spray my entire closet with bleach and destroyed everything I own. The school forced her to move out the next day and I guess her last moment of revenge was hiding bagels all over the apartment but we didn't find them until we were moving out and they were rock hard lol.

R/R: Most just in a dark place between the drive by last night since I have never seen a BFP in 10 months of TTC, someone posting regularly in the WTO posted in a grad post and it really just threw me off, I went out to dinner last night and my friend asked what was happening and why I wasn't KU and how she only had to use ovulation sticks twice before she was KU, I can't go sky diving because of the wind gusts, and I have a raging headache. 

CS/Q:nothing yet. 

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? Freshman year roommate used to sleep in my bed when I was in class because she always had too much crap on her bed, and then get makeup on my pillow. She used all of my things and wore my clothes without asking, would disappear for days at a time and then come back to change her clothes from 4 days ago, reeking of sex and cigarettes, and she burned my sheets by using my hairdryer and putting it on the bed while it was still hot.

R/R: the housewarming party went really well I think!  But we were exhausted and were in bed by 11!  And I'm sore today. I'm so out of shape compared to how I used to be so running 11 miles, then cleaning the house, then not sitting down at all until the party ended around 7:30---I was on my feet for 14 hours. Definitely feeling it today.  But hubby brought me breakfast in bed (which he's never done!) and we got free tix to the Orlando City soccer game later today!

My roommate was one of my closest friend.  One night my bf & I were fighting. My roommate was consoling me. Then she went out to eat dinner with a friend.  Another friend called me & told me that my roommate had actually met up with my bf & they were looking very cozy.  Apparently she couldn't help how she felt about him.

R/R: Not sure what's going on this month. First my pre-o temps are considerably higher than previous cycles, I've been spotting to some degree ever since AF left (not heavy enough to use a liner), then after the temp spike yesterday, my temp was closer to my other temps this cycle so I'm not sure if I O'd Friday or if it will be another CD12 O or maybe my body will want to be a jerk and make me wait even longer

CS/Q: nope just waiting to see what will happen over the next couple days

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? Probably the roommates I had freshman year at college. Second night there they were talking about their country clubs and I didn't even know where the closest country was to me. Felt out of place for the entire year after that.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? We had a roommate a few years back who 1) was a mess and 2) basically moved his girlfriend in with him without asking us how we felt about that. She was always there, and since I didn't really know her that well it stayed to seriously set off my anxiety. I reached a point where I was starting to feel uncomfortable in my own house. We would say something to him, and things would be better for about a week then go right back again. Not to mention they would have really loud sex at all times of day, even though all the rest of us were there.

R/R: the TLDR version is that DH and I got in a huge fight last night after a second unsuccessful attempt at obtaining a deposit

Long version: I actually wasn't TOO upset, I mostly just felt bad for trying to get two days in a row instead of EOD because it can be hard for DH BUT I was concerned I might be ovulating yesterday so wanted to get one more in since H only got home on Friday. Well, I guess he was much more upset and started saying it was because he's nervous still about having a kid because of money etc. I held my sadness and anger while trying to figure out what to say. I asked him what he needed and if there was anything I could do. He didn't know. 
But then he said something hurtful: That he feels like that's all I want him for is to make a baby and that ever since February (our loss) it's just been baby talk. 
I immediately went to the bathroom and cried but I was furious because it already sucksvthat it feels like losing our baby affects me more than him. I mean, we're supposed to have a LO by the end of the month. So I came back in, glared at him and said "You do remember WHY there's been baby talk since February don't you??!!" To which he said yes and then I said some more things about how I want so badly to have a family with him,that I think he'll be a great father, that I'm not going to leave him (his fears), that I don't take this lightly and how I wish I could just "see what happens" but that I need to be doing everything I can because I don't want to lose another baby. And then started crying again.
He pretty instantly apologized for taking his shit out on me and said he's just frustrated that he can't finish. 
We tried again this morning and was only able to after breaking the no saliva rule but I tried to be sparing. I figured at that point some saliva was better than no sperm
Afterwards, I put it to him this way: I'm fertile for maybe five days of my cycle. If we have sex EOD, that's maybe three instances of baby making sex. I know baby making sex isn't always fun (despite me trying so hard with lingerie and trying new things), but it's only three times. I said I don't want to feel guilty for wanting sex (by him saying he feels used or whatever) and that I think we can manage this. I also detailed all the things I have to do on a daily basis to make this work and why it's impossible for me to not think about it. He agreed and I think everything is fine now, but man that was frustrating!!!

Anyways, thank you if you read my dear diary post lmao Men sometimes, yeeesh.

CS/Q: blazer opk this morning! I told him he has tomorrow off and we'll try again Tuesday lol

R/R: DH and I got into an argument last night mostly because he would tell me what he actually wanted. This morning I took my rings off while applying lotion and forgot to put them back on. DH totally freaked... he's the kind of person who automatically assumes the sky is falling. All is well now that I talked him dow and explained it was just a mistake forgetting my rings. The make up sex was pretty great!
 
I have to add I am so proud of you ladies and the appropriate snark with today's drive by!!!

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had? Ugg. My first college roommate. I started in the spring semester and she already had the room set up. The beds were bunked and my desk was pushed between the beds and my closet giving me a grand total of 3 feet of room to myself. The rest was hers and I was not allowed to use it. I came back one night from watching the super bowl with my church group and turned on my desk lamp to study. She freaked out on me because in my paper work I had marked that I went to bed early. She started screaming and slammed doors. She went and got the RA, we were not roommates much longer.

@Dinosaur I was a 32D prior to the twins. If you look at the higher end department stores they should carry that size. I loved wachol bras. Having a properly fitting bra is life changing!

@rainbowturtles I feel like everyone here has mentioned a conversation that they've had with their H about having a baby. I really feel like it just can't compare how us women have to prep our bodies, watch what we eat, calculate our every day, and I feel like men see the financial aspect and think of all the things that they'll lose instead of all the things that they will gain. I think the saying is true that women are mothers as soon as they find out they are pregnant and men are fathers as soon as they hold the baby. Sorry for such a rough several days.

@Nelbetron - This is the 1st cycle I'm using OPKs and I'm already on CD18 so I'm guessing it was an early O. I planned on using the last OPK I have in the box and then just waiting to see if AF comes and testing in 2 weeks AF didn't come but DH suggested at lunch that I buy more OPKs and keep using them until I test or AF comes to see if I get another + OPK.
@GeorgiaWife6912 - It would be nice to get another + OPK since DH has really been in the mood for sex the past couple days (more than usual) but I'm not holding any hope. I have to wait until 6:30 pm to take my OPK because I peed after doing laundry and have to start the 4 hour hold over  Yes my roommate was a major TW

@rainbowturtles - I feel for you 100%!! we had a loss in may and DH and I have had that exact argument! and I kept trying to keep it fun for him too. It's hard. it's all we think about because we temp, chart, eat everything we should, avoid what we shouldnt... so we are literally thinking about it all the time. they only think about it if we mention it, or during the few days we insist on having baby making sex... so ssory. Glad you figured it out.

@rainbowturtles I'm so sorry you had a fight with DH. They just don't understand how trying to get pregnant and being pregnant changes everything. When you want something so much it's hard not to think about it. Losses are just more abstract for them, they can be sad but they are not the one who has carried that little life inside them. R/R: Today we were at an NFL game and it was really windy the entire time we spent tailgating (on 3.5 hours of sleep for over 4 hours). Anyway, I thought lots of ashes were flying around from grills, but it was really those seeds from plants like dandelions. I always wished on the dandelion seeds at the softball field, hoping DH would ask me out, be my BF, and propose. Well I'm not superstitious, but that was my sign! I was wishing a lot on them to get KU and DH kept smiling because he saw and knew. His sister was wishing for babies for us too.

CS/Q: Nope. My OPKs have been close to positive for 4 days now. I know it's still 3 days earlier than my earliest ovulation in the last year, but I just want it to happen already, especially since I'm going to be camping overnight with students on Tuesday.

GTKY: What’s the worst roommate you’ve ever had?

I have had a LOT of bad ones. One of my BFFs from hs was a post-college roommate for a year. I ended up working 4 part time jobs to pay for grad school and make up for lost income due to being laid off from my full time job. Yet she would ask, "Do WE have this? Do WE have that?" Meanwhile, she never cleaned, never bought stuff like TP for the house, and never replaced what she took from me. Her parents paid her cell phone bill, car insurance, car payment, and student loan along with being extremely generous taking her shopping for clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. Then she had the nerve to talk shit about me being "hard to live with" behind my back and sometimes when I was there, only a feet away. I was never there!!! I worked pretty much 7 am-11pm five nights a week and a few hours on weekends and stayed at my bf's place a few nights a week. We stopped being friends for a few years until after she got married and right before I got married. Random story, but she came into the bridal salon right after I picked out my dress and right after MIL walked out in the exact same dress her mother had worn to her wedding. I took it as a sign and she not only apologized, but we rekindled our relationship. Her replacement was a chronic liar who went out with a bang and had crazy sex that broke a banister and put holes in the plaster walls. He was a real piece of work! After that, I had my ex BF who cheated and made me move out. Next, I had two friends of a friend who liked to call me the c word and party until 4 am during the week when I had to get up to teach at 6 am. I bought a house then. Another roommate who rented a room in my house made me feel really uncomfortable and I think she was trying to feel us out for a threesome. Finally, I had DH as a roommate and I haven't looked back. (I have to point out I grew up with four sisters, so I do know how to live with people. I did have plenty of other great roomies, including 3 girls who turned out to be some of my best friends... let me just say that I find guys MUCH easier to live with, though)

@laurad75 I will never understand why some people are so possessive over their friends. I have seen girls who feel threatened by their friends when they like a guy, but that usually has nothing to do with the friend and everything to do with insecurity. I've always felt like the more the merrier, but I realize some of my friends have personality conflicts with others and I can keep them separate since they don't like each other.
@hupp0013 That is so incredibly rude. I get wanting to help a family member, but you can't just move someone into another person's house! I had an otherwise okay roommate in college who was a one semester super senior that wanted to move her BF in. Luckily another roommate said no along with me.
@mrs35 Does it move CH to CD17 if you add yet another high temp? I hate missing important temps around O time!

@SaphireSweetie88 Yeah, I was glad I had more because it enabled me to see that I surged for almost exactly 48 hours (from 5:30pm on Friday to 5:30pm today). I won't really know what that means until I have a few more days of temps, but still, I figure more data can't hurt!
