I like taking my kids to the doctor. It's sad when they get shots because it hurts them, but I don't feel nearly as bad as most moms seem to. I like knowing they're healthy and seeing how big they are, etc.
today is dd 4 month check up, and I've been looking forward to it.
I find it so funny when my dog is in a cone or doughnut cause she just freezes and acts like she can't move. I'll even offer a treat and you can see the gears turning "how can I get to that treat?" Lol
We received word from my MiL last week that her knee surgery was pushed from the 19th to Nov. 10th. Damien and I already had nonrefundable flights booked to go help her during recovery since my FiL would will be on his trip when she was initially scheduled. He will be back in time for the new surgery tho.
I really wish we could cancel our trip since we are going now for no reason other than to visit her. She is a sweet woman and means well but this trip is stressing me out and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the last time they were here.

Somehow this week we've gotten into a "nursing to sleep" habit. This girl is so good at changing things so quickly that I don't realize what we're getting into until we're already in it! Anyone else feel like being a mom is just a series of breaking habits?
