R/R: I'm beginning to get a little paranoid and thinking the positive opk on CD12 may not have been a false positive. No reason why other than I haven't gotten another positive and I'm already on CD15. I think I'm beginning to go a little crazy.... and yes I know we all do at times. Since this is my 1st month using OPKs I have no idea if I tend to O early or not or if I have really short surges, etc so I am thinking I will probably just continue to use OPKs until I either get another positive or until a couple days before I think AF "should" arrive.
Also, I forgot who mentioned it in the WTO Tuesday thread but I am now about 1/2 way through the "Does this baby make me look fat" videos.... I am laughing way to hard at some of them..... so thank you!
CS/Q: Nothing.... yet.....
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
When I was a preteen and early into my teen years (12 - 14) I was always getting into some sort of trouble - never arrested though. Well my parents finally had enough and they met with a judge and arranged for me to spend the weekend in Juvenile Detention (although I didn't know I was only there for the weekend). I thought my life was over and that I had ruined the rest of my life but it ended up being a turning point for me. I stopped hanging out with the other teens who encouraged me to do things that I wound up in trouble for, started respecting my parents, etc.

WAYDTGKU: Prenatals. Magnesium. Temping and charting. C'mon, ovaries!
R/R: Insomnia, grr. I can't sleep. I missed my son especially hard today.
CS/Q: I'm good.
GTKU: I didn't get into grad school the first time I applied. My application file wasn't complete because a professor failed to send in a letter of recommendation, so my application wasn't considered. I thought it was the end of the world. But if that hadn't happened, I wouldn't have stayed in my hometown for another year. Which means I never would've met my husband. It's crazy to think about how much hinged on that one letter of recommendation! And I did get my Master's, just a year later than originally planned. Everything worked out in the end.
@SaphireSweetie88 you said you couldn't really temp because of work schedule, correct? That's the only good way to know whether you've O'd or not. I hope CD12 or 13 was it for you! @PleaseSendPicklesNow I'm so sorry you're having a difficult time sleeping. Hugs!
R/R: I got an amazing evaluation from my boss the other day. She said I was an extraordinary achiever! Yay me!!
CS/Q: I think my opk might have been positive yesterday afternoon, but it seemed like both lines weren't as dark as they normally are. I'll keep testing today. CP last night was HS and either medium or open and I had clear EW CM. Thankfully I was able to get DH to HIO!
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? I graduated from college in 3.5 years, so I thought I'd get a jump start on job searching. It took me until about mid-February to find a job (which now I realize wasn't long at all!). I interviewed at several places but none of those worked out. The job I ended up getting I really enjoyed, I think it played a major role in getting into grad school, and definitely helped me get my current job. Some things are worth waiting for!

R/R: DH couldn't finish the job last night. He said he had a tequila sunrise before his game and he did cramp up while we were HIO. I felt bad because he ended up getting so sweaty that he soaked a towel. But man, don't drink when we are TTC - or drink water so you stay hydrated and don't get a Charlie horse! Also, I think I may be getting a UTI. I have cramps and slightly pink tinged CM. It's too early in the cycle for it to be anything else.
CS/Q: For those of you who feel ovulation "pain" - Can you tell which side you are releasing an egg from? How long do you feel it? How would you describe it? It's definitely something I experience every month and I'm wondering if I am going to O early again. The idea of having to HIO for two weeks "just in case" is kind of worrisome.
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
Thank god my ex cheated on me. It made me stop feeling sorry for him. Then I was able to see that he was a liar and didn't deserve for me to allow him to make excuses. It took two and a half years for the dust to really settle. I did go on a few dates, but mostly stayed out of the game because I was disgusted. Literally a week after I said I was ready... there came DH!

In July 2015 I lost my job after only having been there for about 4 months. H and I were getting married in just 3 months and mostly paying for the wedding ourselves and I thought it was the end of the world. I thought we would have to cancel the wedding and I didn't know what we were going to do. I searched for a job for about 2 months (which also, in hindsight, wasn't that bad) and was offered the job I have now. I love my job now and couldn't be happier. At the time it was devastating to go through but looking back on it I see that I wasn't where I was meant to be. It was just a roundabout way of getting me to the right place. In a weird way I am thankful that it happened when it did because it showed me that H and I could get through the tough stuff too (which is good to know before you walk down the aisle!)

CS/Q: nope!
GTKU: H and I have been together since high school. However, we went to colleges that were 3.5 hours apart. I initially thought this was the worst thing ever. It turned out that it was the best decision we've ever made. Being in a LDR for 4 years definitely put our relationship to the test but it came out stronger in the end!
@PleaseSendPicklesNow I'm sorry that you had a rough night last night Creepy hugs to you! @BertieMeetsGertie Congrats on the awesome evaluation!! I had a similar OPK experience on the evening of CD14. It was definitely the darkest that I had seen all cycle, but I wasn't convinced that it was positive. I'm kicking myself for not dipping a CB digital at that time -- after that test, my OPKs started fading. @NYTino24 I'm so sorry that your ex cheated. But I'm so glad that you found YH once you were ready to put yourself out there again! I'm interested to see responses to your question. I always have a twinge on my right side the week leading up to O. However, I did feel a sudden, sharp pain on CD15 (my estimated O day) on the left side.

I didn’t get into my
chosen university first time around due to a horrible situation at home meaning
I didn’t do as well as I hoped on my exams. This meant I stayed in my hometown
working for a year, and in this year I met DH (who despite my rant is actually
the love of my life). Turned out to be the best rejection/failing I could have
hoped for!

GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? I was wait listed for medical school but I got into grad school. I wouldn't have met DH if I had gone to med school and I love my job
@NYTino24 I always get O pain! I've been tracking it for a while now, and the patterns have been pretty consistent on changing from left to right each month. The best way for me to describe it is like a constant pulling feeling. It's not very painful, more like a nagging feeling. When we HIO when I have the pain, I feel it more. Not sure if that makes sense. I've been tracking symptoms for months on Ovia and always had the pain on cycle day 17 (give or take a day - my cycles are usually 30 days), but I wasn't temping so I could only assume I was ovulating (based on secondary symptoms as well). This was my first month temping, and I got the "pain" on cycle day 17, and sure enough that's when FF said I ovulated.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing at the moment besides my PNVs, VitD and BBT

I had a really messy break up with the guy I thought I was going to marry. It was devastating, to say the least. It took me a really long time to heal from it. However, not long after I was finally getting back to "me," I met DH. At that point I had a much better understanding of what I wanted and what I was willing to put up with. Even though it was one of the hardest times of my life, it was worth it and made me appreciate DH so much more than I would have otherwise.
I have to P&G again today. Work is killin' me! I'll be back later to comment

GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? Im a real "everything happens for a reason" person so I don't tend to dwell on bad things (Ttc is really testing this btw)! One thing I can think of is when H and I were first married the house we were renting was sold out from under us with very little warning. Our area has approximately zero rentals that are in decent condition so we didn't know what we would do. We had just gotten married and started careers so we didn't have anything saved to buy a house. Well we found out because we live in a rural area we qualified for a rural development mortgage where you can have zero down if you make under a certain amount. Since they went off of the prior years taxes, before we both had our current jobs it looked like we didn't make much and we qualified. If that house hadn't been sold from under us we would have had to wait and save a lot of money to ever buy a house! The next year we would not have qualified. (Sorry that is so long)
R/R: pretty sure I O'd yesterday or the night before, but FF hasn't shown it yet-only had 2 days of temp rises.

I'd have to say very similar situation as you, @GeorgiaWife6912! I was involved with a pretty bad guy, very manipulative and of course I had the rose colored glasses on and thought he was so charming and exciting and that of course we'd get married. After an intense (and serious) 9 months of dating he broke up with me via email...keep in mind we only lived 5 min away from each other. He was nuts! The crazy breakup saved me from an awful life and a few months later I met my husband who is genuinely exciting and charming!!!
@MommytoM13@GeorgiaWife12@NYTino24 I can relate to y'alls stories! I was with my ex for about a year and a half (I was dumb enough to date him twice) and I thought I would marry him despite that he was borderline emotionally abusive and it was a toxic relationship. I finally got up the strength to end it and at the time I thought it was the most awful thing to happen to me. Fast forward 3 months and I met DH! He seriously came out of nowhere and I was not even ready to meet someone else but he changed that real quick!
I love seeing everyone else's stories about meeting their DHs and if they had done anything differently they may not have met. It makes you really believe in fate!

Also, @GeorgiaWife12 I thought the same thing when I heard the weekend weather forecast this morning! Bring on the cooler temps. I really wish Georgia knew how to Fall.

GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? 9 weeks before our wedding (and the day my invites went out) I found out our venue suddenly closed. I was disappointed bc I was really loved the rustic/ casual feel of our original venue but within a week I found a new place and it turned out to be so much nicer than the original plus they had onsite accommodations so our guests were able to party with us all night. Our on-site after party went until 3:30 am. Best day ever.

Yesterday she signed me up for the incorrect CPR class, so after getting there and finding out it was wrong, I had to go back to work. Today she signed me up to go out and do home visits and never told me except in an email after work hours so I came in today to see that I wasn't supposed to be in the office, but then she ended up sending someone else out instead, so now I'm stuck in the office again all day. She is just such a mess. Bah

I applied for an internship, the interview went great but in the end I got the call that they selected another applicant. Three weeks later the same hiring supervisor called me to tell me she had another vacancy and wanted me if I was still interested. Turns out this was a better job that was more in line with my desired career path. Once I started I found out the other person that beat me out for the first job was somebody's daughter. Now I've been with this company 8 years. It all worked out perfectly even though I was originally told no!

When I broke up with my ex-fiancé
it was a really difficult time, but I’m so thankful it happened. Not only did it teach me how to stand up for myself in a relationship, but it also is the reason I now get to be on this TTC adventure with DH.
@SaphireSweetie88 Is there a reason you’re expecting
multiple positive OPKs? I have only been using them a couple months, but I
usually only get one that truly looks “positive” and for me it’s usually around
CD 12. Just curious as a fellow OPK newbie about your thought process.
@BertieMeetsGertie Congrats on the evaluation! I remember
thinking like job hunting took forever when I was jobless, but really a finding
a job in a few months is pretty good.
@NYTino24 I have never felt ovulation pain, so I’m afraid I’m

@motherhubbard19 I’m switching my “month” number on the

GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you
that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
I rolled my pickup with an
empty horse trailer on it in a ground blizzard. Miraculously my now DH and I
were fine and only the truck rolled, so the trailer was fine. Initially I was
worried that insurance would not cover the accident, due to paperwork my
brother had drug his feet on getting squared away, but I ended up getting way
more in insurance than I expected which allowed me to put a down payment on my
house.
In keeping with the theme…
@mylove071407 I too had a falling out with my BFF and if I hadn’t I never would
have met DH!
@NYTino24 My pain ranges from
the left side to the middle so I’m assuming when it is in the middle maybe it
is the right side? My MIL could only ever feel one side. It usually lasts a couple
of hours but sometimes has lasted longer. Unlike @Ohemgee the feeling for me is
more pain than anything and can be pretty intense. In my last cycle I had O
pain when I would normally but my temp never rose after that and then 20 some
days later it happened again, only this time with a temp rise. Also, my temp
rise takes a day or two, so I completely understand your worry about HIO for a
couple of weeks to make sure!
@mrs35 I am totally an “everything
happens for a reason” kind of person too! I have to say it has probably helped
and hindered me in this TTC process. Probably more helped with the let downs of
AF arriving.
CD: 6 (lund I needed you to post already so I could know what CD I'm on!)
WAYDTGKU: I think AF has finally left the building so back to all things
R/R: I may actually take tomorrow off work to make up for spending pretty much all of saturday at work. I asked DH if he wanted me to call and make an appointment with an RE (he said yes, yay!) but then he asked if we were out for that cycle... face palm! he is usually more observant. I told him saturday AF had shown up, I told him to make sure to keep the bathroom door closed so the dog doesnt eat all the soiled feminine products... He thought I was just not in the mood so he was pouting, no hun we have not been HIO because i'm bleeding!
CS/Q: not yet
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? So many things... I did not get into grad school the first time around and I was so upset but it gave me time to get more experience and improve my application. I ended up going to the perfect school for me. Then a few years a go I had an interim job and had applied for the permanent position. I did not get it and was having a lot of trouble finding another job. My current job turned up and it has been a great thing.
@SaphireSweetie88 I have had + OPK on CD 10 (false surge) but then the real surge showed up CD15-17 so just keep testing. @PleaseSendPicklesNow **TW I am so sorry you were missing your DS so much today. R/R: This has been a very hectic/incredibly annoying work week, but today is finally my Friday!
CS/Q: No thanks, not today!
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? This is kind of a tough one. Only thing I can really think of is that applied to a high school that would have been a jump start for me to go to medical school, but I did not get in. However, by not getting in there I 1) met my husband and 2) found a totally different career path that was more "me".
R/R: Rave 1: my DH had mentioned the last few days while we were BD that I was more dry than usual (I have had a cold so that might have been part of it), So I went out today and bought Preseed! It was amazing! I have heard about it a ton on here, but never really needed it, but figured I would give it a try! Rave 2: My DH made my favorite 3 day spaghetti sauce for me and we ate it last night! Its amazing, and was originally my dads recipe, but he asked for it right after we got marries so he could make it for me!
CS/Q: nope
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? This is a hard one for me to answer. I think the thing that sounded hard but ended up awesome was DH going to school 4 hours away! By the time he went to school we had been together for 4.5 years and I wasnt too worried about him, I just had a hard time imagining being away from him. But he thrived at MIT and when I graduated I was able to get into grad school in boston and we got to move in together! So even when it felt super crappy at first, it was the best thing for us.

CS/Q: None. Temps are remaining higher than last month, so interested to see what they do as I get closer to FW.
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you
that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? This wasn't something that turned out to the best at all, but if there was one silver lining, *TW* going through my first MC in February really brought my DH and I closer together. We've been through plenty as a couple but nothing like the MC, and thankfully, it really solidified our bond. I wouldn't have made it through without that. *end TW*
@Mrs_Jp After my loss, I had a couple very light periods (followed by the heaviest of my life). I don't think I ovulated through either of those cycles, though. If you're regulating or coming off BC, it's pretty common.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, starting opks today, I have some preseed... going to start hio tomorrow, or possibly even today I hope... temping
R/R: today is my friday!
CS/Q: no... my temp was off this a.m. because I woke up and my mind was racing and I layer in bed for 15-20 minutes or so then I finally took my temp 20 min. Early, and it was .5 degrees higher than normal
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? Yes!! It's a bit of a high-drama story, so I don't want to get into it... but, I got away from a toxic family member, and it was explosive at the time... but once I got away it was like my eyes opened.
@PleaseSendPicklesNow My heart is still breaking for you. Creepy internet hugs. @BertieMeetsGertie Congrats on the acknowledgement from your boss - that always feels good! @JulesDP We're HS sweethearts, too! I totally credit our LDR in college for helping us become our own people and being a stronger couple. @GeorgiaWife6912 Sorry for the horrible cramps! @lulu1180 I'm glad your DH apologized! I guess he can go back to being "dear" instead of another D word
Month/Cycle: 2/3 + 1 NTNP

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, started temping at the end of last cycle so I'm excited to see a full cycle this time around, charting (both FF and Clue), will start HIO as soon as stupid AF leaves.
R/R: Last night was really rough. I had let my hopes get way too high since my cycle was longer than it ever has been, so I was really let down when AF showed up. DH tried to comfort me, ending with trying to make me laugh by saying "it's ok, I still love you!" I nearly throat punched him. You BETTER still love me, considering I did nothing wrong. Why do boys not take the TTC process as seriously as we do? He totally didn't get why I was upset...
But, I'm so grateful for this community. And for science - I am really looking forward to temping this cycle and learning more about my body.
CS/Q: This may be TMI, but if AF showed late last night (as in I put a tampon in and went to bed) I count today as CD1, right? Not yesterday?
GTKY: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? I have to go with our long distance relationship. DH and I started dating just before we turned 15 (gag, I know), and went all the way through four years of HS and two years of community college together. I thought our relationship was definitely over when we transferred to four year schools that were 8 hours apart, but it allowed us to become our own people and ultimately made us a stronger couple.
I love reading all of these GTKY's today! They're uplifting and encouraging!
@PleaseSendPicklesNow so sorry for the insomnia and extra grief Take care of and be extra kind to yourself.
@NYTino24 sorry DH couldn't deliver the goods last night, that's SO frustrating. And I wish I had advice on O pain/symptoms, but I cramp and have random pains throughout pretty much my whole cycle, so I couldn't really tell you if any of it is O related. Love to hear others' input!
@TinyTurtle damn cold feet! I can relate to being concerned about TTC and finances. But, I keep telling myself that if anyone waits for the "perfect" time to have kids, it'll never happen. I'm not sure that anyone ever feels like they have enough money saved, or the perfect job situation, etc.
@LadyMillil yes, I agree that a big present is in order!
@wabash15 hahahahaha....well now I don't need to look at my app for CD. Thanks! And, wtf to your DH!

WAYDTGKU: not a ton right now aside from PNV, nutrition, less alcohol... I'll start CM/CP, OPKs, etc. in a couple days. I'm enjoying the break!
R/R: Rant: I made spaghetti squash last night and totally overcooked it. Boo. Rave: This season of AHS totally sucks, and the last episode seemed like the conclusion of the story but there's still more episodes left. Sooooo I'm hopeful that it will get more interesting. Also, Friday Eve!
CS/Q: When I was on the BCP I only ever had cramping during AF. Now that I've been off of it for 3 cycles I have some sort of cramping pretty much alllllll the time throughout my entire cycle. Mostly it's just dull, mild aching, but occasionally it's sharp pains. My ob/gyn was unconcerned about this, but I'm curious if anyone else has input or experience with this?
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? About 6 months after DH and I started dating, I moved out of state to do an internship at a competitive horse training facility. I ended up absolutely hating the place I was interning at, and actually realized that I hated the work itself. I'd been working in the horse industry my entire life, and this was the first time that I let myself realize that I hated it. I still loved horses, but made the decision to not try to make a career out of it, which is great because no one ever makes money in the horse industry. Not to mention that you can't really have a life outside of horses when it's your career. So, while my experience at this internship was really rough and I hated it, I'm glad I did it because of what it taught me. My life is much more balanced now. And, it actually brought DH and I closer! By the time I moved back, we'd said the "L" word and were much more serious.
RR: I got out of bed just in time to see the sun rise. The whole sky was bright pink and orange. It was really beautiful. The bump is being so fricken slow today I'm ready to quit trying to type! Ive had to reload the page 6 times already. Every other site is working just fine so it's not my ipad! It's making me crazy. Get it together TB.
CS/Q: nothing yet. I only started temping 3 days ago an came am going to start OPKs today.
GTKY: after college I was driving home for a visit and stopped in another city and decided to pop into a place that came to our class to talk about the work they did. They hired me on the spot and I decided to move. I hadn't a boyfriend in the other city and didn't know a soul in the city I had just taken a job in. When I move down I hated it. I was 18 and working with 40+ year old men, had no friends and my relationship quickly came to and end. I spent the better part of 2 years regretting my decision to move. Then it all came together. It's been 10 years since I moved here, I have an amazing group of friends, the best husband, a beautiful son and a life I wouldn't trade for anything.

@Mrs_Jp My periods are usually super heavy for a day or two, and then basically just spotting for two more days. But if it's been just light, it could just be spotting? Have you recently come off BC?
WAYDTGKU: BD ED during FW, CBFM, temping, CM, vitamins, Moon Cycle tea
R/R: Rave: Got a peak CBAD yesterday afternoon - my first positive OPK! Felt like a goddamn genius since I could tell by my secondary signs that O was near! Rant: Did my CBFM this morning and it was STILL at high, which means if I'd just been using that, I would have missed the peak! Not sure if my peak is short or light or if the CBFM is just a piece of garbage, but either way, what a waste of money!!!
CS/Q: Not really related to this month, but can shorter-than-usual cycles be anovulatory? Last month, my cycle was only 21 days, which is low for me. I didn't temp, so there's no way to know, but I'm just curious. All the research I've done on anovulatory cycles focuses on longer-than-usual.
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? All the time!!! I find this to be true a lot with work stuff - I won't get a gig and I'll be bummed and then I'll get something I LOVE that I wouldn't have been able to do if I'd gotten the first thing.

WAYDTGKU: OPKs / BD / PNV

I didn’t get into my chosen university first time around due to a horrible situation at home meaning I didn’t do as well as I hoped on my exams.

I was disappointed bc I was really loved the rustic/ casual feel of our original venue but within a week I found a new place and it turned out to be so much nicer than the original plus they had onsite accommodations so our guests were able to party with us all night. Our on-site after party went until 3:30 am. Best day ever.

R/R: My boss, she is a "yes" person to your face, always says "yes that is a great idea! I am going to do that", or "I will do that for you!" and then never follows through. Bah

GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? I broke up with one of the greatest guys I had ever dated and I didn't really know why other than I needed to. I just knew there was someone else I needed to meet. I have always thought about him and felt a good connection with him but I am really glad that I knew/felt like he wasn't the one because my H and I have such a great open humorous and fun loving relationship that I never had with old BF so if I hadn't ended a really good relationship then I never would have met H and moved to a big city and created this life I have now!

@SaphireSweetie88 It’s possible that the opk on CD 12 was a positive but like @BertieMeetsGertie said, the only way to truly confirm that you ovulated is by temping. If you were checking CM/CP you could use that to possibly cross check.
@PleaseSendPicklesNow I’m so sorry that you’re having a rough time all around, no one should ever have to go through what you went through and my heart aches for you! Adorable panda hugs to you!
@BertieMeetsGertie Congrats on the amazing evaluation! It’s always so nice to be recognized for your hard work!
@NYTino24 Last cycle was the first time I’ve ever noticed O pain. It was the day before O and was just a very slight kind of tugging sensation on my left side. It was definitely noticeable but also very short.
@purplg8r I’m always just a little bit in awe when things come together like they did for you!
@motherhubbard19 Sorry AF is taking her sweet time!
@JulesDP I had the same thoughts last cycle and there was absolutely no rhyme or reason other than previous cycles had gotten to me

I asked him point blank if he wants a baby and he said yes without any hesitation. I even asked if he was saying it just because he knew it was what I wanted to hear and there was a resounding no! Also, we got to BD last night!
CS/Q: My pre-O temps seem to be running higher than normal this cycle, has anyone seen this?
Also, thank you to those that answered my question yesterday. It sounds like some note only external spotting and others internal. I think the best answer to that question is to pick one and just be consistent with how you note it!
GTKY: Just about every guy that broke up with me. I was that girl that would dive head first and fall for a guy very quick and very hard. Then each time a break up happened, I was devastated. I started to worry that I was never going to meet someone as I was well into my 30s with no end in sight to my horrible dating record. But then I met DH; while it has certainly not been an easy road I know that I would never have met him if I hadn’t gone through everything else in my life prior to that.

When I broke up with my ex-fiancé it was a really difficult time, but I’m so thankful it happened. Not only did it teach me how to stand up for myself in a relationship, but it also is the reason I now get to be on this TTC adventure with DH.
@SaphireSweetie88 Is there a reason you’re expecting multiple positive OPKs? I have only been using them a couple months, but I usually only get one that truly looks “positive” and for me it’s usually around CD 12. Just curious as a fellow OPK newbie about your thought process.
@BertieMeetsGertie Congrats on the evaluation! I remember thinking like job hunting took forever when I was jobless, but really a finding a job in a few months is pretty good.
@NYTino24 I have never felt ovulation pain, so I’m afraid I’m no help there. UTIs are no fun, so hopefully it will be short-lived!
@motherhubbard19 I’m switching my “month” number on the first of each month regardless of where I’m at in my cycle at that time, but other people might do it differently.
@JulesDP MH and I were long distance for the first 3 years we dated and while it wasn’t fun all the time, I would definitely agree that it made us stronger.
@TinyTurtle Sorry for the cold feet episode. Hopefully you’ll both be back on the same page now!
@LadyMillil I hope you don’t hit cycle 25, but be sure to keep us posted on the potential present!

R/R: Officially done with the longest cycle ever! (I’m not sure if that is a rant or a rave?)
CS/Q: Does anyone have experience with a super light period? (I mean like barely need a liner.) Should I be worried/ concerned about it?
GTKU: Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
I rolled my pickup with an empty horse trailer on it in a ground blizzard. Miraculously my now DH and I were fine and only the truck rolled, so the trailer was fine. Initially I was worried that insurance would not cover the accident, due to paperwork my brother had drug his feet on getting squared away, but I ended up getting way more in insurance than I expected which allowed me to put a down payment on my house.
In keeping with the theme… @mylove071407 I too had a falling out with my BFF and if I hadn’t I never would have met DH!
@NYTino24 My pain ranges from the left side to the middle so I’m assuming when it is in the middle maybe it is the right side? My MIL could only ever feel one side. It usually lasts a couple of hours but sometimes has lasted longer. Unlike @Ohemgee the feeling for me is more pain than anything and can be pretty intense. In my last cycle I had O pain when I would normally but my temp never rose after that and then 20 some days later it happened again, only this time with a temp rise. Also, my temp rise takes a day or two, so I completely understand your worry about HIO for a couple of weeks to make sure!
@mrs35 I am totally an “everything happens for a reason” kind of person too! I have to say it has probably helped and hindered me in this TTC process. Probably more helped with the let downs of AF arriving.

@lulu1180 Yay! So glad you and your husband made up!
@Mrs_Jp My periods are usually super heavy for a day or two, and then basically just spotting for two more days. But if it's been just light, it could just be spotting? Have you recently come off BC?
@littlebug2010 Three day sauce?? I gotta know more!!
@RunRestRepeat Ugh, sorry for CD1!
