Re: TTTC quick check in - 10/19/2016

  • Sorry you have the flu seems to be going around.

Went in for my HSG today have a cyst causing particial blockage. Meet with my RE on the 31 to go over everything and what the next step is

Guessing I will have to have it removed.
  • @GoldenKeys Hope you feel better soon.

Not much going on for me.  Just in the TWW and trying to get through the work week without losing my mind.  It's going by so slow this week. Ug.

  • Feel better soon, @goldenkeys!

@labluver2 I'm sorry to hear about the cyst and that you'll likely need surgery. I'm glad it sounds like something they can fix.

Nothing much going on for me. 8DPIUI, just hoping that if AF shows, she holds off until after my half-marathon this weekend. I have never successfully exercised on CD1. Oh the cramps! Meanwhile, I keep poking my boobs to see if they're sore, which actually just makes them sore. Must stop.
  • flu is the worst!  hope you feel better soon @GoldenKeys

@Labluver2 hope the appointment with the RE goes well - sorry to hear about the cyst and the blockage but hopefully they can get rid of it an open that tube up!

@hoffmanr7 yay for the TWW and work crawling.. ha.

@Bababatty I am never good for exercise on CD1 either!

I need a serious chart-stalk! I took letrozole CD3-7.  I got a dark but not positive OPK on the 12th (marked it with a HIGH even though it wasn't an advanced monitor).  I also had cramps that day but it was the day after my HSG so there's that.  I then proceeded to have a climb in my temps but with no EWCM and negative OPKs until the 15th!  I'm worried that FF won't have any idea when I O'd because of all these conflicting signs.  Any advice or interpretation is welcome!  Sorry if the image is huge.

TWW over here. Beta on Saturday & I'm wedding dress shopping for my friend all day so I think I'm going to shut my ringer off and wait until we are done shopping so I don't ruin her day if it's a negative. Will they leave this info on my voicemail?

@Labluver2 - Sorry to hear about the surgery. FX the wait for your RE appointment goes quick and FX for a quick recovery.

@hoffmanr7 - FX for your TWW

@Bababatty - FX AF hold off. I am good for nothing activity wise on CD1

@seethosestars - Wish I could give you input but I;m not great at reading the charts

As for me, I am hanging out on the WTO thread because I don't know if I should move to TWW. I was going to move to TWW because I got a positive OPK on CD12 (today is CD 14) when I tested at 5 pm but then when I tried testing again that night I got a negative OPK so I am not sure if I botched the 2nd test / got a false positive / OR if I have a super short surge. So I am testing once a day now to see if I get another positive OPK.

I put why I am confused as a spoiler if you want to read about it:

I think I either got a false positive or botched my 2nd OPK test because I took an OPK on CD 11 about 5:00 pm (using a cup method) and it was negative. On CD 12 while at work I took at test (not using the cup method) around 5 pm & got a positive. I wanted to check again when I got home & I think I may have botched the test because it wasn't in the urine (non-cup method) for the full 5 seconds so I stopped midstream (yes I know that's bad) and of course that one was negative so I tried it one more time with another one which was negative too. (Sigh) This is my 1st time using OPKs so please don't laugh at me. BUT on the slight chance I just have a really short LH surge and did O, I hope I am okay because DH and I BD CD 11 early morning and today.  DH said maybe taking my PNV 2 hours before my 2nd OPK on CD 12 may have been the reason for the negative. I told him I doubt that's it though. I will continue testing with OPKs in case it was a false positive.

  • @GoldenKeys hope you feel better soon.

@seethosestars that is a tough chart for sure. You have fertile signs all over the place but the don't seem to matchup with each other.

good luck at your ultrasound @BWhitta!

im currently sitting at 4dpo. We ended up having -3, -2 & -1 for timing so we did what we could and now we wait! I gave up temping as soon as I got my CHs. It makes me so anxious I can't sleep and then I over analyze my chart constantly for 2 weeks, I'm over it. So test day will be 10/29 and until then I'm just gonna treat my body as if I'm KU, can't hurt right.

  • @seethosestars Wow, I'm not sure how to interpret your chart. I'd say maybe around CD15 based on OPKs, but see if your temps stay up. Did you get any monitoring while on femera/letrozole? I ask only because that might help pinpoint.

@lablover78 I hope we can stop compulsively bruising our boobs. :-) Good luck with your beta!

@SaphireSweetie Maybe you started surging after your test on CD11, which could explain the negative after the positive on CD12? I think if you did surge on CD11/12 your timing would be ok. Are you confirming with temps? I can't remember.

@BWitta Good luck with the u/s! So happy for you!

@soontobemommahowe Great timing! Good luck with your TWW!

  • @Bababatty and @lablover78 I'm right there with you at 7dpiui and definitely also poking the boobs, but feeling nothing. I successfully transported my progesterone to WI and back and forth between families, but realized the dose is super low....wondering if it's doing anything at all....other than making me feel constantly greasy down there.

    FX for your US @BWhitta!

so sorry to hear you're sick @GoldenKeys :( hopefully it's a quick recovery!

  • Thanks, everyone!  The us looked good but we were not able to see the heartbeat yet  the doctor wasn't worried especially since we aren't 100% on when I actually conceived...so he said since it's grown so much and I'm not bleeding or anything it should be fine but ugh!  I just want things to go smoothly for once!  We can see the little tadpole on the us which is pretty incredible...just have to wait until Tuesday to *hopefully* see that little heartbeat!

I'm sorry @PoeMasque I would be so upset as well. It's such a hard decision on whether to risk the cost of IVF. Is there any option to do a shared risk plan where you pay more initially but it covers extra rounds if needed (one I was reading about covered up to 3 cycles over the course of year) and then refunds you half if those don't work?

Take time for yourself, you deserve some pampering this week. Thinking of you.
