Had my anatomy scan today and baby boy had his hand on his penis... is this a look into what my future will be like?! Everything looked great, they couldn't get one measurement because he wouldn't turn so I have another scan at my next appointment too.
Side note, I've stayed within my personal goal weight this past month, so I'm celebrating by making cookies. New goal starts tomorrow
my mother is in town from over seas..... she's been coming over a few times. this morning she called me at 10 am.. ok i get i should maybe be out of bed. but i woke up at 7 and ate something and went back to sleep. i am just very tired today -.- she kept calling and calling just to ask a question about something.. wtf

@datalover13 every time I've had an appointment I've gotten a quick sono for the same reason, super active baby! can't object to getting to see them extra though!
As for the classes. I took 3 and the one piece of information that I didn't know that I needed to know and was so grateful to learn was the "hamburger hold" for your boob for breastfeeding. This was amazing info. Everything else was common sense or stuff I've read along the way.
Also... Speaking of hamburgers. I had a complete stranger man at my work ask me when I'm due! It took me a few seconds to register that he actually asked that because it's still pretty questionable .. or so I thought. I replied with "uhm .. March... But what would you have said if I told you I wasn't?" He replies "I would have said that was a pretty big hamburger for lunch then..." Couldn't believe it. People are crazy... My manager was actually asked when she was due when she is NOT, so I felt the need to imply that it's a risky thing to ask.
Ok third random... Someone suggested 'Babyname' as an app like tinder to get matches (can't remember who) but is it just me or are the names on there just Horrible?!?! Any other app suggestions for baby names?
I saw a woman driving today with no pants. She had on a shirt and underwear. Not a long shirt, actually a short shirt that exposed her stomach. And I saw her at a red light and checked like 4 times so I'm sure there were no pants... I love people.
It's SUPER early... but I like checking out spacefem.com , they have some cool charts and things for pregnancy. One of them is to input your EDD and it creates a chart of the likelyhood of labor on what day. I like looking ahead and wondering when baby will show up!

Kind of is. I mean, the same parent with thecsamecparenting style can have two kids with totally different temperaments and sleeping and behavior. My son was a definition Velcro baby Who never let me sleep more than 2 hours at a time for over a year: I'm hoping for the opposite of @mcdonald-bailey With a "unicorn baby" like gets as my second. It would feel so easy to have a kid who didn't need to be held 24/7 or would let me leave them in the church nursery, lol.
Not that having any kid is easy, don't mean to belittle McDonald-bailey's experience, just comparing against myself hypothetically!!

I was just relaxing on the couch, got up to pee, gathered laundry, went upstairs to put it away and by the time I got upstairs I already had to pee again! It's going to be a long 22 weeks...
So I have been woken up every night for over a week with severe pain in my knee. Like, gasping for air kind of pain. According to my mom it's from sleeping weird and I need to use more pillows. I don't know if my husband will fit on the bed if I use more pillows.

@averageAsh I get that with my hips if I don't use pillows. I'm using so many that DH legit barely fits. And I can't use him to prop my leg up because he's like an INFERNO in bed.

Thank you!!! I tried the videos but it was more confusing to me. I bought a book to practice the basic different types of stitches and small projects like coasters and coozy. I even made a kindle sleeve. I found a free book on kindle with some patterns and I used Pinterest to look for some too I am considering gettting a book of patterns too.
@mrsyimster those are beautiful! I've crocheted for years, and these look like they were made by a very experienced person. Your stitches are even and straight, and no weird tension issues, which is a hard thing to get right. Gorgeous!
slightly annoyed that I still haven't gotten to tell my stepkids they're going to have a brother.. I'm announcing it Saturday and I'd really like to tell them myself instead of them finding out through someone who saw it on facebook. We were supposed to get to tell them Monday night but for some reason they went to bed 2 hrs early... no response for the next 2 days, tonight I was supposed to get to skype them but now no response..

@mrsyimster my mom crochets and whenever my sister and I find a pattern we usually send it to her for her to make. I found these jelly fish that are like baby dolls and are super adorable. I'm hoping she may make one for us I think you did a great job for a beginner. Keep it up
Was TB down for the greater portion of the afternoon for anybody else today? I must admit I got irrationally angry that I actually had to put some serious work time in on a Friday.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I'm with you @Spartanrd4 on the withdrawals. I guess there was 2 separate hacks today.... My company's website went down for a solid hour which made for an interesting work day.
I actually had a paranoid moment that my workplace had blocked TB! I thought, "OMG, they can see how often I've been on it!" .... And then I came back to reality when I could still log in to Facebook.
I got out all the baby clothes I've bought so far, and the two sets of swaddling blankets and washed them. Can nesting set in this early? If i wasn't exhausted after the week I've had I'd probably start working on moving my daughter into her new room so I can work on the nursery but I keep telling myself I'm gonna need something to do when the semester is over and I'm home for 3 1/2 months.
I have one of my best friends from college coming for the weekend - she hit traffic and is not due to arrive for another hour: it's way past my exhausted pregnant lady bedtime. I'm going to be so tired tomorrow : (
