Month/Cycle: 5/5 (Last cycle before we have to TTA 2-3 months)
CD/DPO: CD25/10dpo
Timing: -4, -3, -1
Testing: I was going to test this morning but then I forgot to put a pee cup in the bathroom last night.
This is where I need that raining Wondfos gif we all want, but instead enjoy this one:
R/R: My husband made me a really great breakfast this morning. Open-faced turkey sandwich with an over-easy egg on top. Yum.
CS/Q: Not unless you can will a triphasic chart into existence!
GTKY: When I was in first grade I got a bunch of books about Greek mythology and told my dad that I wanted to go to Ancient Greece on vacation. I thought "Ancient Greece" was a country near Greece, like West Virginia is a state near Virginia.
Testing: not yet. Will hold out as long as possible.
R/R: I just hope FF is right on my ovulating. Going to keep BD every other day just in case.
CS/Q: NO question. This is my first TWW.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? This isn't mine but my husband and it's too funny not to share. I still tease him. Anyways he thought chocolate milk came from brown cows up until he was like 19ish. I had to tell him it wasn't true. He seriously believed it. No one had told him otherwise.
R/R: Today will be better than yesterday. Today will be better than yesterday.
CS/Q: Nope. Temps jumped off a cliff today, AF should be here tomorrow.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? My older sisters convinced me that if I ate a watermelon seed I would have one growing in my belly. I also questioned several times if I really WAS adopted like they kept telling me. haha. Jokes on them... I am a carbon copy of my dad.
Edit: I have to post and ghost for a few. Meetings all morning. Be back to comment later!
Posting and ghosting today because it's a teaching day, but should be back late today to at least read and catch up...
Month/Cycle: 14/ 12
CD/DPO: 25 / 11
Timing: -1, IUI #1 @ O, +1
Testing: Sunday at 16dpiui. I can make it that long. Yes I can. (Do I sound convincing?)
R/R: Progesterone supplementation is the devil. Beyond the killer cramps and outrageously sore nipples and falling asleep by 9pm every damn night, its newest victim is my tolerance for caffeine, which has turned my morning cup of coffee from a pleasurable experience to subsequent hours of tremors and racing heart. Boo.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? My grandfather (who was very bald) insisted so strongly that he had eyes in the back of his head and that's why he didn't grow hair there, and he was so uncannily good at spotting trouble-making happening behind his back, that for years I wasn't quite sure what to believe.
CS/Q: If this spotting is CD1 popping over a week early, I wish it would just start. I'm sure it will wait until Thurs, because then I'll have to move my Fri Dr apt...
My rave is that I was very on top of planning out our weekly meals when grocery shopping last night and I am parting myself on the back because that is a rare occurrence lol.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
My mother told me that I could have a pet bird if I caught one. She convinced me that the best way to catch a bird was to sprinkle salt on its tail because then it couldn't fly away. I can't even remember how long I believed that and how many hours/days/months I spent wandering around my yard and my grandparents yard trying to get close enough to the birds to salt their tails.
Testing: 9 DPO since I have to work with teratogenic drugs that day, if thats negative, waiting until 11 or 12 DPO
R/R: Work is super stressful this week and its making me sleep horribly. On the plus side, its gonna be 80 today! As much as I love fall, I love warm weather and I miss it when it goes away.
CS/Q: nada
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
Edit: forgot to answer this question
When I was a little kid (like 3) I used to pick my nose...my mom told me the boogers would slowly burn my finger off and I would be left with no fingers if I kept it up.
I love my mother, she is my best friend, but she is a sick, sick woman, lol
Month/Cycle: 2/2 CD/DPO: 21/8 Timing: -4, -1, +1 Testing: Thursday (10DPO) for medication purposes R/R: Not today CS/Q: Nah GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? along with @georgiawife6912 I believed the watermelon thing, as well as it would take 10 years for gum to digest.
@adirat FX for you and that breakfast does sound delicious. @oxcherryblossomxo your poor hubby to believe that for so long. I can't believe no one else corrected him. Also now I crave chocolate milk. @georgiawife6912 I am also sorry for the temp drop and the BFNs. @kiwi2628 sorry work is being so stressful on you, hope your day goes by fast
@adirat I'm from West Virginia and I cannot tell you how many times I've had people not realize that it is an actual state. Even people who live in border states don't know.
@adirat I must have missed it, why will you be TTA?
@oxCherryBlossomxo sadly, I think there are lots of people who believe that about chocolate milk. I worked in Agriculture and there are so many false beliefs out there.
@BaileyM321 progesterone sounds like a B. Hope you feel better soon.
@zwink1 your GTKY is hilarious! Best one so far IMO!
@kiwi2628 everytime I see your timing, I think, damn girl, get it! (hopefully that's not too Internet creepy)
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 21/5
Timing: -4, -2, -1
Testing: holding out for missing AF
R/R: Yesterday I was cleaning out some old boxes of my toys growing up that my parents wanted out of their house. I've had them for years but never looked at them. I showed them to DD and she's in love with my Magna Doodle and Popple (remember those?). It makes me smile to see her love what I loved too.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? My cousin, who was the same age as me, told me she heard that boys pee inside a woman to get her pregnant. We were maybe eight. I believed that up until about the 7th grade when we had sex ed. At least we were on the right track I guess.
***TW in Siggy*** Me: 34 / DH: 33 Married: Nov 2011 TTC #1: Jan 2013, BFP Sept 2013, DD: June 2014 TTC #2: Aug 2016, BFP Nov 2016, DS: August 2017
@bumpybump omgee my cousin told me the same thing as a kid.... except that the boy pees blood into the girl haha
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 18/6
Timing: -4,-3,-2,-1,O
Testing: Saturday for drinking purposes
R/R: Just feeling pretty blah today.
CS/Q: my chart is so ugly cause of all the mouth breathing
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
Well other than the boy peeing blood in the girl to get her KU (and honestly anything we learned in "sex Ed" aka if you have unprotected sex ONCE you WILL get pregnant)... idk.... nothing really stands out? Maybe gum staying in your stomach 7 years if you swallow it?
@GeorgiaWife6912 boo for impending CD1, FX this is a quicker and less stressful cycle for you and you are back here quickly!
@shstephenson with you on the Tuesday blah, really the worst day of the week
@zwink1 the mental image of a poor girl trying to throw salt at birds is amazing, my GTKY is also about lying parents
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 23/7 (probably 23/10 but then totally missed BD in FW so I am sticking with the first one
Timing: -2, -1
Testing: Saturday for drinking purposes but not optimistic
R/R: BSC symtom spotting today. Convincing myself that my sore abs from yesterday's barre class are implantation cramps, my dry skin is boob discomfort etc etc, you guys know the drill.
CS/Q: nope, still hovering right at my super high coverline. Thank you all for CS yesterday and Friday
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? OK, I was born for this post. When we were young and watching the winter olympics my dad told us that he and my mom were a pairs figure skating team before we were born. They would have won gold but my mom fell down in the side-by-side triple salcow (dont even know if that is how you spell it). Needless to say I brought this story to kindergarten and my teacher mentioned my "active imagination" at parent conferences. My dad has to fess up that he was the source of that one. Whenever we bring that one up at home, my father's response is "why have kids if you can't lie to them?" so, it's probably good that is the example of parenting I have in my life.....

@adirat Oh my god, that gif. Willing you all the triphasic vibes and have my fingers and toes crossed for a test to turn for you.
@GeorgiaWife6912 So sorry about the BFN's and the temp drop. I hope next cycle is the one for you.
@BailyM321 Ugh, progesterone supplementation sounds like no joke. Fx that this all pays off and major sympathy on being robbed of the joy of a morning coffee.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 20/5
Timing: -4, -3, -2, -1
Testing: 13dpo - major thanks to everyone who sent me support yesterday on committing to that testing day. I was on mobile and wasn't able to tag everyone well, but it was all read and appreciated.
R/R: Today's pretty calm on both fronts. My chart's starting to look pretty (I don't assign any meaning to this, it's just satisfying), and I have the day off today.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
So background, when I was little, I really believed that inanimate objects had feelings and were a little bit alive. I used to get really upset if I made a mistake on an art project or broke a toy because I thought that I had hurt it I even made my parents return my favorite Christmas gift (a lite-brite) when I was about five because I was convinced that I wouldn't do the patterns right and would let the lite-brite down. It's mind blowing how bright children are with such a limited/incorrect understanding of the world - I remember planning out how I would tell my parents that I just didn't like the lite-brite and that was why it needed to be returned because they'd never understand that it was actually alive and that I could hurt it.
Me: 26 DH: 26 and 10 days fewer Married 6/15 TTC #1: NTNP March 2016 TTC July 2016, September 2016- Let's Get This Party Charted
Testing: bfn again. I spent some significant time looking at charts like mine, but I don't feel in it. Waiting for a temp drop.
R/R: Nothing today.
CS/Q: NA
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? Mine relates to geography, like @adirat. When I was really little, I thought geographic areas were named after my personal family members with those names. E.g. Scotland was named after my uncle Scott. I imagined us to be quite imperialistic, apparently!
R/R: I got a bunch of work done yesterday, so the only thing I need to do today (other than teach) is grade one set of homework assignments
CS/Q: None.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
I used to think air guitars were an actual type of guitar that ran on compressed air instead of electricity. My dad had told me he used to play air guitar and I bragged to my friends about it lol. I was definitely old enough to know better. For some reason my friends didn't tell me it wasn't a real thing, though, so I kept believing it for a while.
R/R: This cycle has been so long
I’m not even sure if my normal short LP is normal! No clue on when AF should
make her appearance either! HA
CS/Q: Not today.
GTKY: What is something
hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
When I was little, probably before age 6, I used the words “antelope”
and “cantaloupe” interchangeably. I also thought there was a difference between
a cheeseburger and a hamburger, so I wanted a hamburger with cheese not a
cheeseburger.
@Adirat I would have liked to go to “Ancient
Greece” as well! Sounds like fun!
edited: because I'm not functioning well enough to make a post complete and correct on my own.
@georgiawife6912 Oh no, I'm so sorry for impending AF I loved your GTKY answer -- we had the same thing in my family, my brother and I look EXACTLY like our dad.
@zwink1 I love your GTKY! How did she think of that?
@kiwi2628 Whoa that is a tough one! Your mom really nailed you. Also sorry your boss is being such a TW Sounds awful.
@wvrn1216 That is extremely pathetic. People can be so dumb.
@bumpybump My husband finishes his PhD in May and we'll be moving in July or August, likely cross-country, for his postdoc. We need to avoid having a July, August, or early September due date given the move and his mid-August start date for his new job. Thanks again, academia!
@bumpybump and @shstephenson The first thing I thought when I read your GTKYs was "thank god that isn't true or I'd never have a baby" lol not that sperm is less gross to be honest. It's all gross.
@BrambleRose Thanks You were such a thoughtful and philosophical child! I loved your answer.
Testing: not yet, eagerly waiting for this Friday which will be 12 dpo. Wow, waiting is really easier said than done. It's been tempting to test, but I'm sticking to my plan.
R/R: my skin really really sucks today. I haven't had this bad of a breakout in a while. Is it Friday yet?
CS/Q: BSC symptoms over the weekend and yesterday have somewhat stopped, although I do still feel a little discomfort in my lower abdomen, sort of almost feels like a UTI. I was lying in bed last night and had to get up to pee about 5 times before I could get comfortable.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? I always though the dad had to be taller and older than the mom, and that he always had to drive.

@osucma I know right. As much as I feel bad for him that no one told him it's still hilarious.
@bumpybump Yeah I wouldn't believe you if my husband didn't believe it. It just seems silly haha.
@Mrs_Jp the boys I use to babysit thought the same things about the hamburgers. I guess they were use to cheese stuffed burgers and they thought that was a cheese burger.
@shstephenson omg I thought the gum thing too. Whoever came up with that? Lol
@bumpybump the fact that your DD loves your toys is adorable, and certainly something to cherish @willrunforwine21 Sorry for the BSC SS, but feel better knowing you aren't alone. I have been doing that myself. Also your GTKY cracked me up! @bramblerose your GTKY is adorable! If only all children thought their toys had feelings, then they would keep in much nicer condition! @peachy13 the waiting game is so hard to handle. GL holding out. You can do it! Also LOL at your GTKY answer. Sounds like something my DH would tell our kids :P
@adirat That breakfast sounds amazing! @GeorgiaWife6912 Today WILL be better!! @BaileyM321 I'm convinced! @zwink1 I'm dying over here @Mrs_Jp Ugh, I also have no idea when AF is going to show up
Month/Cycle: 2/2 + 1 NTNP
CD/DPO: 30/?
Timing: nearly EOD since last AF - hopefully good enough.
Testing: BFNs Saturday and Monday. Might test again tomorrow if AF doesn't show.
R/R: Just this stupid cycle. No sign of AF yet - would have expected her Saturday or Monday. So of course I'm SS like a maniac, and reading way too much into my temps even though I've only started temping recently and definitely don't have any history to go off of. But, DH grilled an awesome steak dinner last night, so not all is bad. Just feeling frustrated overall.
CS/Q: Nope!
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? Oh man, I have a lot since my mom was sort of evil (in a good way) in making us believe random things. I think the best might have been when she convinced me and my siblings that automatic doors (like at the grocery store) only opened if you ran up and yelled "Open sesame!" As an adult, I wonder how many other shoppers thought we were crazy...
CD1, I'm out guys but loving these GTKY. Mine would definitely be that one saint patricks day, I asked my dad: I know chicken comes from chickens, and beef comes from cows, but where does corned beef come from? He told me dead leprechauns. Never touched corned beef again!

@laurad75 sorry about the BFN. I did the exact same thing when I had my blood test done last cycle. Blood test is negative.... still tests a few days later when AF isn't here yet cause #BSClogic
CD/DPO: 30/13 (I *think*, based only on EWCM and starting to temp a few weeks ago as I learned about it).
Timing: perfecr
Testing: BFN this morning
R/R: Bummed about the BFN, but still not counting myself out. I had light spotting from late Saturday night (10 DPO) until yesterday, and it stopped. I also had a slight dip in temperature Saturday morning and it wasn't back up Sunday. Last pregnancy, I had no symptoms until mild nausea 14 days after conception and had a BFN that day, and only tested positive a full week after that. AF is due any time between tomorrow and later in the week, so I guess I'll find out soon.
CS/Q: When would you recommend testing again? Saturday? A week from now? Just curious what you ladies think.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
My parents had us wave to George and Martha every time we crossed the GW Bridge. I'm not even sure when I stopped believing they lived up there. My dad was a very convincing story teller lol!
Testing: BFN today.. but it has a great evap. Great.
R/R: I'm meeting a friend today for lunch! Good distraction.
CS/Q: Temps are still high, blood sugars are still really resistant, I'm just a little discouraged but I'll keep testing until AF comes or a line. My BFF also got a BFN so at least we can cry together.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? I believed that if you sat on a chair after a boy, you could get pregnant. Also the classic if you swallowed a watermelon seed it would grow inside your belly. Probably the most weird is whenever my dad would say he got an email from my aunt and would print it out, I really thought it came out of the monitor screen! (You know the big chunky monitors from like 1995). I our had a little cover for buttons there in the front, and I swore emails came out of it.

GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
This is actually one of my H's but it's cute so I'll share. When H was little his dad told him your ears wiggle when you lie. So whenever he would lie to his parents he would cover his ears. We used this same story with our DD. It was always hard to keep a straight face as she was holding her hands over her ears trying to convince us of something.

R/R: I know it was my first try and my timing sucked due to zika scare but I'm bummed. My mom has PCOS and Endo and had to have a hysterectomy at 33. It took her 4 years to have my brother, 3 years to have me (both with fertility treatments) and we were both born at 4lbs after her being in the hospital for 6+ weeks. Sooo not being able to get pregnant has been a fear of mine for the past few years. After learning about this a couple of years ago, I did my research and changed my diet/exercise habits to give myself a better shot when it came time. I know you're supposed to wait 12 months before seeing an RE at my age but I think I'll go in after 3-4

@ChefRamsay In the 5 cycles I have charted, I have always had ewcm again once after temp spike. It has varied among 1dpo, 2dpo, 3dpo, and 5dpo. I wouldn't worry unless your temps are in question for another reason.
@WillRunForWine21 Thanks and ditto -- so many great parenting tips! I thought of this gtky question yesterday when my dad reminded me how I once told him I wanted to go on vacation to ancient Greece.
@haylsbayls I have endo and my gyno told me to come in for fertility screening after six months of timing intercourse. You likely will not get anywhere after the 3-4 you said but if you are experiencing issues that you can document, you may after six. Good luck and I hope you won't need to anyway

@adirat, it's nice to hear H made you breakfast, that is awesome!
@GeorgiaWife6912, sorry about the BFNs and CD1.
Month/Cycle: 12/10
CD/DPO: 28/7 maybe.
Timing: -1, +1 possibly
Testing: Not until Fri/Sat if CD1 doesn't show.
I too have to p&g, but I'll be back!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 15/3
Timing: -4, -3, -2, -1, O, +1
Testing: 9 DPO since I have to work with teratogenic drugs that day, if thats negative, waiting until 11 or 12 DPO
R/R: Work is super stressful this week and its making me sleep horribly. On the plus side, its gonna be 80 today! As much as I love fall, I love warm weather and I miss it when it goes away.
CS/Q: nada
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
Edit: forgot to answer this questionWhen I was a little kid (like 3) I used to pick my nose...my mom told me the boogers would slowly burn my finger off and I would be left with no fingers if I kept it up.
I love my mother, she is my best friend, but she is a sick, sick woman, lol
@GeorgiaWife6912 so sorry about the BNFs
@zwink1 dying at your GTKY!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
and the BFNs.
CD/DPO: 21/8
Timing: -4, -1, +1
Testing: Thursday (10DPO) for medication purposes
R/R: Not today
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child? along with @georgiawife6912 I believed the watermelon thing, as well as it would take 10 years for gum to digest.
@adirat FX for you and that breakfast does sound delicious.
@oxcherryblossomxo your poor hubby to believe that for so long. I can't believe no one else corrected him. Also now I crave chocolate milk.
@georgiawife6912 I am also sorry for the temp drop
@kiwi2628 sorry work is being so stressful on you, hope your day goes by fast
Lurking from WTO
@adirat I'm from West Virginia and I cannot tell you how many times I've had people not realize that it is an actual state. Even people who live in border states don't know.
@oxCherryBlossomxo sadly, I think there are lots of people who believe that about chocolate milk. I worked in Agriculture and there are so many false beliefs out there.
@GeorgiaWife6912 sorry to hear AF is on the horizon
@BaileyM321 progesterone sounds like a B. Hope you feel better soon.
@zwink1 your GTKY is hilarious! Best one so far IMO!
@kiwi2628 everytime I see your timing, I think, damn girl, get it!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
My cousin, who was the same age as me, told me she heard that boys pee inside a woman to get her pregnant. We were maybe eight. I believed that up until about the 7th grade when we had sex ed. At least we were on the right track I guess.

I used to get really upset if I made a mistake on an art project or broke a toy because I thought that I had hurt it
I even made my parents return my favorite Christmas gift (a lite-brite) when I was about five because I was convinced that I wouldn't do the patterns right and would let the lite-brite down. It's mind blowing how bright children are with such a limited/incorrect understanding of the world - I remember planning out how I would tell my parents that I just didn't like the lite-brite and that was why it needed to be returned because they'd never understand that it was actually alive and that I could hurt it.

Month/Cycle: 2
CD/DPO: 26/11
Timing: like @GeorgiaWife6912 not good enough! Haha
Month/Cycle: 14/15
CD/DPO: 21/5
Timing: -5, -4, -2, -1
Testing: Not until my period is late
R/R: I got a bunch of work done yesterday, so the only thing I need to do today (other than teach) is grade one set of homework assignments
CS/Q: None.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
I used to think air guitars were an actual type of guitar that ran on compressed air instead of electricity. My dad had told me he used to play air guitar and I bragged to my friends about it lol. I was definitely old enough to know better. For some reason my friends didn't tell me it wasn't a real thing, though, so I kept believing it for a while.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 44/ 8 or 10?
Timing: Terrible
Testing: I’m not sure… (see below)
R/R: This cycle has been so long I’m not even sure if my normal short LP is normal! No clue on when AF should make her appearance either! HA
CS/Q: Not today.
GTKY: What is something hilarious you believed was true when you were a child?
When I was little, probably before age 6, I used the words “antelope” and “cantaloupe” interchangeably. I also thought there was a difference between a cheeseburger and a hamburger, so I wanted a hamburger with cheese not a cheeseburger.
@Adirat I would have liked to go to “Ancient Greece” as well! Sounds like fun!edited: because I'm not functioning well enough to make a post complete and correct on my own.
@georgiawife6912 Oh no, I'm so sorry for impending AF
I loved your GTKY answer -- we had the same thing in my family, my brother and I look EXACTLY like our dad.
@Baileym321 You can do it! You can do it!
@zwink1 I love your GTKY! How did she think of that?
@kiwi2628 Whoa that is a tough one! Your mom really nailed you. Also sorry your boss is being such a TW
Sounds awful.
@BrambleRose Thanks
You were such a thoughtful and philosophical child! I loved your answer.
@theweevee Sorry for BFN
@Mrs_Jp Haha, love your GTKY answer! How are you calculating your ovulation? 34 dpo should be impossible.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 34/9
Timing: EOD during FW

Lol
@bumpybump the fact that your DD loves your toys is adorable, and certainly something to cherish
@willrunforwine21 Sorry for the BSC SS, but feel better knowing you aren't alone.
@adirat I think @Mrs_Jp is saying that O was CD 34 or 36 so she would be 8 or 10 DPO

@ChefRamsay that is brilliant! I am totally doing that with DS when he's old enough to understand what a lie is!
