Not sure this is a symptom or more of a TMI, but I've always been someone who sweats when nervous/anxious. It is 20 times worse with pregnancy, and especially in the third tri. I seriously dread any client calls or meetings because I know I will be super sweaty under the arms and undercarriage. It's so annoying because I'm not even nervous in these things, it isn't like I'm brokering some big deal, I'm usually answering questions I can answer in my sleep.
34 weeks and lots of hip pain. I'm officially going to the chiropractor twice a month vs monthly. Still having trouble sleeping and DS has been waking up in the middle of the night again. Luckily DH has been really good about getting up with him since he knows I'm not sleeping well. I think baby is slowly dropping because I started having some pressure and discomfort in my pubic bone. I have my 34 week appt tomorrow so I'm hoping doc will be able to tell me if babe is lower and head down.
Last night and today I have horrible back pain in my lower back. It's bringing me to tears and that's accompanied with really really bad cramping. It's not contractions because the cramping lasts too long. But it's horrible. Enough to wake me up at night and not be able to sleep until it passes. Ugh. Help.
@kristah2 I am dealing with that same cramping today. It started last night, I went to bed early and was actually able to sleep. This morning it continued, I was almost in tears making my lunch for work. I ended up calling in.
Yes on the awful back pain!! I couldn't find a comfortable position last night and woke up today still in intense back/pubic pain I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow with my 3rd. Headed to the dr in an hour so we will see is there's anymore dialation (I was a 1cm last week) I'm done and ready to meet our baby girl!!
My pelvic floor is sore. Is that TMI? Like when I walk it has slight tinge and sometimes feels like I need to keep my legs crossed. I'm a STM so maybe I'm just weaker down there? I'm not keels/squat person... I done with the body aches and immobility but am so not ready for him to come yet. I'd like to make it into November.

Yeah, that's a STM thing. I felt like my 2nd baby was just going to fall right out through most of the 3rd tri. She still came 6 days after my due date...
The last couple nights I've woken up in the MOTN soaked in sweat (gross) and last night I had a really messed up dream that I woke up practically hyperventilating.
TMI: DH and I had sex last night and definitely gave it a good shot at kick-starting labor before bed which gave me a whole one contraction afterwards and again this morning which maybe has started some more. Still nothing timeable but definitely something happening.
Not quite a symptom, more a complaint that while pregnant my metabolism is beyond slow. I've been eating normal portions and mostly healthy (few treats here and there), bit have gained 4 pounds in 10 days. Not good.
@jmama1611 Some of that might be water retention. If you're swelling at all I would assume you're just retaining water. And keep in mind, babies at this point are gaining about half a pound a week. You're probably fine and your doctor would say something if you weren't.
FTM 34 weeks. Also dealing with hip pain, especially at night. Getting out of bed in the morning I hobble like an 80 year old (waddling like a penguin is way too cute of a comparison, this is NOT cute) until things shift back into place and the pain subsides. The pillow between the legs thing doesn't help anymore, and my OB flat out said there's no help for me until after I deliver. I have a weekly massage which helps, or at least has stopped from getting worse.
One new thing that started last week (33 weeks) was Braxton hicks. I was off last week to prep for baby, I ran around all week and was on my feet, and the up and down and movement was causing me some intense hardening and softening, basically all day every day. But I'm back at work now and it really doesn't happen when I just sit at my desk, which makes me theorize that desk jobs/evening couch sessions will probably make me go well past my due date.
Also: lightning crotch. Started 2 weeks ago, it happens when her head is way down low and very engaged, which I can tell just based on a lot of pelvic floor pressure. It's just a sharp shooting pain that stops me in my tracks (now I get why women having contractions look frozen in time)

Holy nesting instinct! I am only 35 weeks, but this weekend it kicked into high gear and hasn't stopped. I cleaned out and reorganized all of our closets and dressers, washed and organized all of baby's things, and then went to the Container Store to buy more organizers for the house.
I also noticed baby dropped a bit today — I'm feeling a ton more pressure and it's noticeable when I look in the mirror, so now I'm starting to panic that I don't have five weeks left. Must organize all the things!
@kmmnocal It's hilarious that you just posted about nesting since I literally 10 minutes ago bought a bunch of containers from the Container Store online and some organizing stuff from Amazon! My big nesting kick was around 28 weeks but it's hit me again today and I really only have one closet left! I guess I'll have to organize my sister's house so the instinct doesn't make me crazy lol
Heartburn literally all the time. No relief at all. Also noticing my tailbone is hurting a lot. Which is weird, I've had back pain but my tailbone? Is that common? I'm a ftm so I have zero clues what to expect.

I've been having the same thing. Maybe it's just pressure from the baby?
@MrsMaryK2016 I brought up my concern with weight gain to my midwife. She said to just try to make healthy choices and a lot of it is beyond control because baby is rapidly growing now. Made me feel a bit better. I gained a lot with my son, but 8-9 months postpartum had lost it all so I'm thinking this might be a repeat with (hopefully) a little less to lose.
My toes are so swollen today I actually have fat rolls where the toe connects to the foot - like what babies get on their wrists if they have chubby arms
@jennihaze I called today and talked to my doctor, told him about my tailbone and the pain has gotten so much worse in the last 2 days. He said that's a sign baby is moving down and it's actually a good sign. Told me when my pubic bone starts to hurt I'm probably going to go into labor not long after. So yeah. Maybe the same for you as well?
my nighttime carpal tunnel seems to be worse and my right hand is still super puffy - usually they are swollen in the morning but then once I'm moving around and getting ready it dies down. Hours later my right hand looks like someone inflated it with a pump and I can feel my feet feeling super big too. lovely.
Baby's hiccups were down low, which gave me hope that she was head down. But now they are off to the side. She seems to enjoy a new position every day, and it's stressing me out.
I cannot walk like a normal human being - he is on my sciatica so badly that I feel like my right leg is going to break. And like a jerk, I came to work. Ugh.
@SandNStarsNJ I get it! Not sciatica but when I walk I seriously feel like my legs are just going to fall out of socket. Brings a whole new meaning to waddling.
@kristah2 I'm walking so horribly that my school's secretary told the principal not to expect me in on Monday without my saying anything. I must really look pathetic. But also at this point I'd like to cut my leg off...
Intense pelvic pain. Crazy pelvic pressure as well. It hurts to move. Lots of movement down low in the pelvic region, and OB think LO is breech. So done with pregnancy.

Anyone feeling extremely restless? Like All. Day. Long. Especially at night/evening. RLS for sure, but I can't even sit down to breath for a moment during the day without constantly needing to fidget. Makes resting impossible. The only help I've found is a hot shower or sitting in the sun-must be something with the heat. But I'd love any other ideas to help.... I'm 36w1d so though I'm hoping for delivery before my due date, I can't imagine feeling like this for 4 more weeks.
So last night I felt like I was 8 weeks again, horribly nauseous and unable to sleep. Today, I'm fine but having sporadic contractions AGAIN. I'm not ready; he's supposed to hangout for at least another two weeks...
So I'm spending today freaking out over everything I haven't done yet.
@SandNStarsNJ I feel the opposite! I'm 36 weeks and like just come out already I don't even care if you're a few weeks early please if you love me come out haha. I feel like it's all wishful thinking and he will be cooking another few weeks.
@leighry As far as my body feels, I need him to come out ASAP, but I had a mental breakdown this morning on how SO not ready I actually am for this little guy. It's like I forgot everything even though I did this two years ago. I guess they'll come when they're ready though.
I was just sitting Indian style on the floor helping my husband put together a storage unit for the upstairs bathroom. I went to stand up and thought baby boy was going to fall straight out. the pressure and like stinging pain in my crotch was outrageous. holy god. i managed to walk it off but it was not fun.
