How far along are you? 12 weeks

How big is baby? Plum, chicken nugget, kiwi, minecraft pixel (my 9 year really likes this one)

Appointments this week? Appt on Monday went well! Baby is still growing! And just a little while longer until I'm out of the 1st trimester! Had my NT scheduled for this coming Wednesday, but had to reschedule due to a work conflict. So next time I get to see baby is 10/24.

Symptoms? RLP so bad that my uterus feels like it's on fire. And I thought I was getting better, but this last week the food aversions and nausea has been back.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Going to another friend's kid's birthday party. He is the same age as DS. And she is having a taco truck there! Yum!!!!!!!!! All you can eat tacos?!? Count this preggo lady in!

GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy? Chocolate: Reese's and Snickers. Fruity: Jolly Ranchers or Starburst. I also like Smarties.

How far along are you? 16 weeks

How big is baby?  Avocado, can of pop/soda 

Appointments this week?   On Wednesday.  Should hear the heartbeat again and then a blood draw.  Not sure for what.  Any ideas STMs?

Symptoms? Nauseous and lack of appetite at night, still exhausted, less energy once the afternoon/night hits

Rant/Rave/Questions? Double rant: A developed a very small bloat/bump this week so now I am feeling self conscious.  I really just feel like I ate way too much and it is not cute.  I want to live in a hoodie and not have to attempt to look nice at work.  

Also, FIL is staying with us this weekend to help finish our basement.  DH just lectured me about what I might eat for dinner (cereal) in front of his dad.  First of all, he should just be happy I'm eating when I feel nauseous.  Second, he picked to eat a dinner that I absolutely despise so now I'm finding my own food.  Sorry for not wanting to cook and do dishes. Rant over.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy?  For chocolate either KitKat or Reese's.  The pumpkin shapes are the best!  Non chocolate I like tootsie pops or StarBurst (yellow or pink!)

Appointments this week? Had one yesterday! Finally heard the heartbeat. 

Symptoms? Tired, but not exhausted. Lots of gas, occasional heartburn. Less nausea. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Got my paperwork for the anatomy scan! Also, having my blood pressure monitored because it's on the higher side. Freaks me out cause it's never happened before. 

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Basically chocolate anything. Hershey bars, Twix, Reeses.

Day late!! How far along are you? 13 weeks How big is baby? Size of a Jalepeno! Appointments this week? Hopefully lol I'm in the process of transferring to a VBAC friendly practice and hospital. Symptoms? Night time Insomnia, daily fatigue, constantly thirsty, very little Nausea Rant/Rave/Questions? Getting irritated waiting so long for my confirmation of transfer! It's been like 2 weeks and I keep telling the OB I need to be seen! GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy Twix!

Symptoms? Rlp, still exhausted

Rant/Rave/Questions? Is it too much to ask that when I get home from work...the house is clean, fireplace on, candles lit, dinner in the oven, and someone greets me at the door with pjs/slippers/tea!?!  I guess so.

My due date has been moved, so I hope you ladies don't mind me joining you on Saturdays!

@wagnerw did they do blood work initially?  I can't imagine what else they would draw for at this point.  I don't remember any more blood draws until later in third tri.

Appointments this week?  Maybe...trying to get in to a doc to clear up this UTI I have, but I haven't had much luck getting an appointment.  

Symptoms? Still nauseous on and off. And now headaches have begun.  I've pretty much been in bed since Friday morning. I had a week off last week for Fall Break and I'm absolutely dreading going back to work.  I just keep trying to tell myself something's gotta give at some point. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Anyone have any good Netflix and/or Amazon Prime show recommendations?  I just finished Downton Abbey. And heaven forbid I do something productive....

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? I enjoy a bit of candy corn. Chocolate of any kind is good.  Just not caramel apples. Too hard to eat!

@cafedisco Have you seen Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy? Also, a little more tame, I got hooked on Jane the Virgin a while ago. I plan to catch up on season 2+ while on maternity leave.

How big is baby? My little peach. 

Appointments this week? None this week, had one last week. Had to do an early 1 hour glucose test. Ugh I should be hearing about that this week.  Also got a quick ultrasound because the Dr couldn't find a heartbeat, everything is good though, baby is just up higher than the Dr thought.  

Symptoms? None really.  It seems like all the morning sickness is gone.  Yay! 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I have to start eating like I have gd again even if I don't have it.  I've already gained 12 lbs and since in overweight I'm only supposed to gain 15 the whole pregnancy.   

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy?  Pretty much anything chocolate lol

@cafedisco  Welcome to the Saturday ticker    They did a blood draw at my first appointment (9 weeks).   I guess I will find out on Wednesday and ask what they are testing for!

Also, for Netflix suggestions have you watched Orange Is The New Black or Making a Murderer?

Thanks for the show suggestions.  I have seen Breaking Bad, OITNB and Making a Murderer (I was HOOKED).  I'll have to check out Sons of Anarchy and Jane the Virgin!

Appointments this week? I had on Friday, Dr did US to check HR. Everything looked good  

Symptoms? I was having some cramping and general pain in my pelvic area so i was a little concerned since I didn't remember having that with DD, but Dr thinks it all seems pretty normal. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? My hips and lower back have already started hurting... I'm worried this is a sign for whats to come 

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Anything Chocolate.... Reese are my all time fav and the first to get eaten from the bowl

@BeachMommy2B We are due on the same day and seem to be having the same symptoms. If I stand for any amount of time over 10 minutes, my back gets all achy. I did have this with DS, but don't remember it being this early. I'm pretty sure it didn't happen until around mid-pregnancy with him.

@wagnerw. If you elected to do first trimester screen it is likely for that.  I should have had an appt last week...but they asked me to move it till I would be after 16 weeks to get that blood work done.  So mine will be Thursday!

Appointments this week?  Yep blood draw and normal on appt.  Will get to hear heart beat again.
