WooHoo! We made it! It's been a short week for me due to the storm. Our office didn't reopen until Wednesday.

My SIL and I have a good friend who is in town with her baby from Dallas. We were all supposed to go see Any Schumer last night, but she canceled her show! We will probably go out to dinner and hang with them a bit tonight and then going to my parents' house tomorrow to assess their storm damage and see how we can help them clean up. They were lucky like us, no structural damage, but a lot more trees down at their house.

Sunday, we will watch football and then we have a wedding that evening. Friend of H's.

I am 7 dpIUI and planning to test at home on Thursday am before beta. That is if CD1 doesn't come before then. Fingers and toes crossed!

How are you doing, @roxgibbons? Any big plans for you?

I'm volunteering at a fundraiser for church/oldest daughters school ALL weekend. Not really looking forward to it. I'm at work now, but only to teach my morning class then I head to start prepping for the fundraiser. I did it last year and it was great but I'm busier at work this year. Plus its supposed to rain this weekend in the Bay Area which will probably make our numbers low.

And i'm in prime fertile window here.. ovulating in next few days, so lots of DTD time :)

@fivetimesnoluck - a day of football sounds awesome!

@fivetimesnoluck sending all the good vibes your way for a BFP on Thursday. Sorry about Amy Schumer canceling. That sucks. We saw her a random hole in the wall bar 3 days before our wedding when she was working on new material. She was amazing.

@ladipale Good luck with all the baby dancing.

AFM I've had a hell of a week. Migraine is coming back now that the steroids are ending. I had an "incidental" finding on my spine MRI that caused me to have to go back yesterday. I had a major panic attack since this finding could indicate cancer in my bone
marrow.  Long story short, the Dr and MRI tech thought the radiologist was being abundantly cautious and that it's nothing at all to worry about since my bloodwork is normal . Not a good situation for someone dealing with SEVERE hypochondria. For the 1st time in my life, I took xanax to get through the day yesterday. I'm almost hoping they don't call me today because if I need to do more tests, I'm going to be a mess this weekend.

DH is home this weekend to help quell my anxiety. We are probably going to do a movie this weekend and the tomorrow night is Game 1 of the NLCS! Hopefully, the Cubs can distract me enough Saturday and Sunday. I had rescheduled a massage from this week to last week and they forgot to cancel it. Given how revved up I am, I'm going to keep the appt. I need to get my cortisol levels down!!

@fivetimesnoluck fingers crossed for you!  Do keep us updated!

@chloe97 That's horrible to go through.  Anxiety literally makes everything unbearable.  I had it for many years and took meds but stopped them after ttc. Now after my loss I feel the anxiety creeping back.  I have been taking Valerian root to no avail.  Hang in there.

As for me, we are going to a haunted house on Saturday.  Nothing to help you get over a difficult 3 weeks than someone scaring the shit out of us.  Hoping this weekend is uneventful and relaxing.  And for those of you testing:

FX for your @fivetimesnoluck!!! So glad you didn't have serious issues with the hurricane.
@chloe97 I saw intermittently this last week what you were going through, I'm so sorry.

So glad we flew back home last night from New Orleans, the wind is really picking up here in Oregon. I have to drive to Tacoma later today to work on Sat/Sun (2.5 hours normally) and will just take it slow. So....in NOLA, even with DH creeping out about sleeping in his mom's bed, and family staying at the house for a funeral, and our bedroom door being only sliders that had a big crack in it (w/people sleeping in the living room) we were still able to BD twice so I'm glad for that at least. Unfortunately I was also taking antihistamines as I can't see straight around my MIL's dogs, but what are you gonna do really except pound water.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend ladies!!!

@fivetimesnoluck I'm glad you all made it through Matthew with minimal damage. Also, I admire your testing resolve! I'm an early tester.

@chloe97 I'm so so sorry for all your stress. I don't know what to say beyond sending hugs. But know we're all here for you.

@amberruka Way to go on sneaky TTC sex! I'm impressed by your covert skills.

As as for me, I'm up in the Seattle area, so we're just hunkering down for the storm this weekend. The wind is starting to pick up off and on. I'm hoping we don't lose power. My puppy absolutely hates the rain though, so he takes 40 minutes to go to the bathroom because he prefers to stand and whine, and glares at me for making him go outside in this weather. I've got news for him - it's going to be a long winter for him up here. Poor pup.

    @fivetimesnoluck - fx for you!

@chloe97 - Im so sorry for all your stress - sending positive thoughts your way!

No plans this weekend - hoping to get some chores/errands/yardwork done and binge watch Gilmore Girls - does that count as a plan? lol

@fivetimesnoluck Thanks for asking :) I'm glad you are ok and life is somewhat getting back to normal after dealing with Matthew.  I have everything crossed for you for this IUI. I week down- you are almost there. Keep us posted

@ladipale I am in the Bay Area as well! South Bay actually. What a change in weather we are having! I'm cool with it though. More sweats and boots for me,
Hope you get some good BD in this weekend during your FW.

@justsuzie Wishing you a relaxing weekend.

@amberruka Way to go on the down low sex! I was cracking up reading your post.

@chloe97 You have had a rough week. I am glad you are ok but this migraine situation is terrible. Besides the steroids is there anything else you can take?
I hope you get that massage in. You definitely deserve/need it. Have fun watching the Cubs!

    @River song15-your puppy sounds adorable.

AFM: No major plans this weekend. I had a long week at work and am exhausted so I am looking forward to staying in tonight bundling up and watching Westworld.  Anybody watch that yet?

Other than that the normal stuff weekend stuff. I really want to meal prep this weekend so I need to get some recipes together this weekend and make that happen. I also want to get hot yoga this weekend as well. I love those classes and when I was in medicated cycles I completely stopped.

I'm here, sorry I've been a terrible bumpie recently. I'm in such a ttcal funk it's not even funny. I made an appointment with an RE for next month. Logically I know it's way too soon and I'm jumping ahead of myself but I can't shake the feeling that something isn't right and I'd rather know now than dealing with disappointment month after month. I reached out to my OB for advice and he referred me to an RE so I can't be THAT insane for wanting to see an RE. DH think it's too soon but is on board. This month hit me hard with my DD and everything so I don't know…the worst the RE can say is to keep trying a few more months but at least I'll know i tried.

@brooklyngirl18 So sorry you are having a rough TTCAL time. I forget if you're over 35, but I wouldn't be too worried about the RE dismissing you either way. I'm made an RE appt after my first loss and I got pregnant immediately the first time and my RE didn't seem to think it was weird that I was there. More than likely they will offer to run bloodwork and possibly schedule an HSG. Do you have IF insurance coverage? If so, it could be a crapshoot if they would cover the testing depending on the way your plans IF language reads. At the worst, it tells you that there's nothing wrong and at best it tells you that there's something going on that's easily fixable.

@RiverSong15 I think the hating the rain thing is an early puppy thing. My puppy also begged to go inside at first when it rained, but now he's getting used to it. The worst is trying the get him to shake off in the entryway before he comes in the house. I wonder if we could train him to do that because never fail, he shakes off 2-3 inside out condo.

@roxgibbons and @amberruka and @justsuzie DH wants to try Westworld. I'm skeptical that I will like it because I' m not a big sci-fi girl, but I will give it a try.

@TScalei I've never watched Gilmore Girls. I've been thinking about binging on it on Netflix.

@justsuzie @amberukka @chloe97  we started it last night and it was awesome. We only watched one episode so I think we'll watch the second one tonight. It's rainy here so I'm all about staying in.

@ladipale I live in San Jose too! I grew up in Almaden Valley and still live in south San Jose and I work by Levi's stadium. What a coincidence!

@brooklyngirl18 I'm sorry you are having a tough time- we've all been there during this journey. I think getting some peace of mind from an RE is a good idea. And like @chloe97 said at minimum the RE will do some additional tests and be able to give you more insight and get into the details a bit more than the OB can.

@brooklyngirl18 - I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I'm glad you are going to see an RE. I saw one after 2 losses and really just the consultation made me feel better. I hope you get some answers and/or peace of mind!

@chloe97 - I would highly recommend Gilmore Girls - it's a great ttcal distraction. How are you feeling?

And my "productive" Sunday has fallen prey to Harry Potter weekend on free form. Oh well gotta get it in before football starts! lol

Thanks a lot ladies, I know you all can relate unfortunately. @chloe97 i am 31. I had an HSG done after my ectopic and it came back clear but I'm wondering if something else is going on or maybe we have a sperm issue. Hopefully the RE can find something that's easy to fix or give me peace of mind. I have one more shot this month before the appointment so who knows, maybe I'll get ku and can cancel it.

I've been wanting to start Gilmore Girls again @chloe97! I also want to start Grey's Anatomy again from the start.

@roxgibbons - hilarious. Did you go to Leland? I went to private all girls high school in Willow Glen but was friends with lots of people from Almaden! I grew up in Evergreen but live in Rose Garden now (where my husband grew up)
