Fur babies?!

So ladies of June 2017, do you all have any fur babies? Tell us about your pets, because after all they are family too! 


I have a lot. We have two rescue dogs, Cricket and Chickey. Cricket is a blue heeled and fox terrier mix. He is an outside dog because he ate our dry wall. Chickey is a rat terrier and jack Russell mix. Super protective of my son and I. We also have a cat I stole from one of my clients because they were not feeding her as a kitten. Her name is Kiwi and her growth has been stunted because of that. Then I have 16 chickens. My husband has three Herford beef cows. Two are heifers named Eve and June. Our bull is named Johnny. I have a horse who is 27 years old. Her name is Charmayne and I have had her since I was 13. And last but not least is my miniature donkey, Thistle.

Yes. It did originally say November 2017. I accidently typed November because I have been so used to the November and October boards. Sorry again.

Gotcha!  Well in that case,  I am an avid animal lover.  Hubby and I work close with a dog rescue group.  We currently have one rescue pup.  Half doxie, half beagle named Lincoln.  Our first born haha. We were looking to get a new puppy next spring, but that will wait with baby on the way!  :-)

DH and I are a "blended family" so we have 3 puppies between us.  We cannot wait to add the little one to our zoo!!!

The hubby and I have 3 fur babies! Our oldest is George. He is an 8 year old Puggle and is my world- I really hope he doesn't feel replaced by the baby when he/she arrives! We also have an 18-month rescue cat, and dog... the cat is a Tabby and her name is Chloe- she was the runt of her litter and even though she's constantly eating, she's still tiny so it's like having a kitten around! Our rescue pup is Ivy and we found her on the side of the expressway in a really bad part of Detroit. She is a pit bull and Australian Shepherd mix and dispite everything she's been through she's super sweet and listens really well!

We have a 10 year old Papillon named Sugar and a 3 year old poodle mix named Fizgig.  We adopted Fizgig about 2 years ago from a local rescue and she's comes a long way since then.  She was taken by authorities from an animal hoarder and when we got her she was afraid of everything and didn't know how play with toys or walk on a leasch.

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. 
A bull terrier named Brody and a pug named Ginger.

Our cats are Kat and Kia.  They were blamed by our parents for our infertility and they suggested I give them away.  MIL even said I will become sterile if I kiss them on the nose/mouth.

I love my fur babies. They are family .

We have two adopted kitties. Obadiah (Obi) and Nicodemus (Codi). Obi is 4 and Codi is 2. I love them so much and can't wait to see how they react to baby - I'm not worried.

We have 2 cats. Snowball is an old man at almost 15!! Our other cat, Mio, is 8 years old. We also have 2 hermit crabs that we got in Virginia Beach while we were there for our wedding! We have had them for a little over a year and are happily surprised that they are still alive!

They are Boxers, the one with the blue eye is Zeus and the other is Bowser .. Both named by Hubby as he wanted them to sound tough (they are sooks lol)

This is Olive. Jack Russel and Beagle mix (we think?). She love kids! Hopefully she will do well with a new baby in the house

Our two furballs are in my profile pic. Lucy Ann is our basset and Baxter is the puggle. Lucy was my wedding present from DH and we got Baxter a few months later so she'd have a friend. He's the sweetest little rescue dog. They're so great with DS. I love watching them all together.

These are my two girls. Maybe, the black one, is 6 and a pit mix. Piper will be 1 in January and is a shepherd mix. At least that's what the shelters said. We aren't sure what they actually are. Maybe is an angel and Piper is an awful puppy but also the snuggliest dog I have ever encountered.

my little man Paul is my profile pic, he is an 8ish year old puggle and we have a very vocal cat Bella.  They are my kids, early on during IVF I would cry at the thought of not having Paul around my babies as a dog and child's bond is something i have always loved as my parents got a puppy right before i was born and she was my protector for 12 years.

We (read: me) have two cats (8 years and 2 years), and a 9 month old Basset Hound puppy, Phoebe. All females, and the cats like to gang up and corner the puppy. Bitches. 
I heard dog crying, and came to find her the centre of a gang-up. To be fair, she bugs the shit out of them when she can.

@halfthetree I have a basset mix that I adopted when I was in college that lives with my parents! She was supposed to be my dog and I tried having her move in with my husband and I after our wedding. She had terrible separation anxiety from my Dad so she went back to them. I love bassets and any type of basset mix though!!
