Re: Meal idea

  • We're pretty lucky that Wren is such a good eater. She will literally eat anything. Our go-to snacks are usually cheese sticks (she is OBSESSED with cheese), cuties, cucumbers, green beans, yogurt, muffins, snap pea crisps (these are rare since they're SUPER processed, but I'll give them to her when we're out and about and I want to keep her occupied!), rolled up (nitrate free) lunch meat, pasta, blueberries, and bananas.
  • For snacks I do grapes, strawberries, veggie sticks, Gerber snacks like puffs, yogurt drops and animal crackers. She also loves cheese!

@Cricket99 nope it usually bakes in the same amount of time, but I always give it the toothpick test to be sure. I have had great success with adding applesauce or banana but if I want it to be really sweet I make sure the banana is really ripe. Sometimes I also use dates chopped up in little tiny pieces.

edited...because I also wanted to say that when I add applesauce it can also be to forgo the oil in the recipe as well.

Perogies, avocados, pasta, pickles, yogurt, cheese, basically any fruit, that sweet kale salad from Costco, and buttered bagels are all recent baby faves in our household. We also have a bunch of pouches on standby for picky days but we haven't had to use them in a couple weeks now!

ETA: @nackie we also noticed our LO won't eat meat! We have a little vegetarian over here...

@l4rk have you tried ground chicken? Sorry if you've said in previous comments that you have! My son seems to prefer ground chicken to regular chicken either just chopped up and browned or made into a chicken burger and then cut into little cubes. Just a thought, he's not a particularly picky eater though!
