None. Next week I go back for my 16-week checkup and second blood draw for the sequential screening test.
Symptoms?
Nausea definitely seems to be improving, although I am not ready to go off the diclegis yet - still have random days where I feel awful and throw up (about once every 4-5 days it seems). So once those stop, I will try going off it.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Rave - I love my fetal doppler...It might be the best purchase I have ever made. I haven't seen my doctor for over 3 weeks but I am not nervous for my appointment next week. It's a very good feeling. I know the jury is out on how safe they are but I think with my history of anxiety/panic attacks it is a safer alternative than the constant overwhelming stress I was experiencing before. I will stop using it once I can feel the baby move, most likely, but for now it is saving my sanity. Rant - I definitely look pregnant now - but only to myself and my family/friends who knew what I looked like before. And none of my jeans fit. But to an outsider, I just look chubby. Really wanting this awkward middle stage to be over. Although I did buy a bella band which is helping me feel more put together for now - I can wear my jeans unzipped/unbuttoned and cover it with the bella band to hold them up until I am ready to buy maternity jeans (which probably won't be for another few weeks at least). I definitely recommend one for anyone else still in the "pregnant or just fat?" stage
Symptoms? aches and pains and I think I'm getting a head cold which is no fun. I'm avoiding all medicines which is the pits.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Okay, I love your post @kitkat8387 cause I am certainly in the chubby feeling phase. My husband says he can't tell which is super sweet but I know my pants don't fit. I've done the rubberband trick and ordered some maternity leggings online. Hoping they come in soon and are comfy.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Oh man, my sweet tooth is in overdrive during pregnancy. I'll go with top 3 - Twix, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers
Had my first 2nd trimester appointment! Got a flu shot and everything.
Symptoms?
THEY'RE MOSTLY GONE! I ate chorizo tostadas without wanting to die, so my meat aversion seems to be on the decline.
Rant/Rave/Questions? nada
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Awe man, my favorite Halloween candy are Mary Janes. They have a couple other names, but they're those orange and black wrapped peanut butter blossom candies that kind of taste like the Great Depression. Most people hate them, but I could eat an entire bag by myself, easy.
@kitkat8387 I agree wholeheartedly with your rave. Best purchase ever. I love being able to confidently declare the PGAL mantra, "today I am pregnant and I love my baby."
How far along are you? 15 weeks. So glad to be firmly in the 2nd tri
How big is baby? an orange (which prompted me to a buy a bag because they sounded delicious.)
Appointments this week? nope. Next Monday
Symptoms? My morning sickness is still awful at night. I still have to take a zofran so I don't spend the night tossing my cookies. The back pain has started already which kind of sucks. But over all I'm feeling worlds better
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so beyond ready to feel consistent movement. I still use my Doppler like 2x week. But I'll feel so much better after I feel baby.
GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Well currently I've got TWO mix bags of Halloween candy on my counter. Right now I'm all about some Reese Pieces. But ask me tomorrow and I'm sure it'll changed. I have no idea why some of this is bold and some is italics. User fail.
