Welcome to the community!
Some great tips for benefiting from this wonderful community:
- Read The Ultimate TTGP Guide pinned at the top of the board. It is full of really helpful TTC advice and knowledge.
- Participate! Join the WTO (Waiting to Ovulate) and TWW (Two Week Wait) threads. This is a great place to let everyone know where you are at in your cycle, rant and/or rave about anything (TTC-related or not), and have any questions answered.
Please introduce yourselves. Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

Re: Newbie Intro Week of 10/10
Age: I'm 39 (almost 40) and DH is 45
Months ttc: This will be the 1st cycle after having Mirena removed a month ago.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, bd, will begin tracking cm and cycle this month.
About me: *TW* I have a DS who just turned 2 and I had a mc 3 months before conceiving DS. I'm a nurse, but recently took a job in informatics/ admin after years of working in the ER. DH and I own a farm, so we spend a lot of time outdoors and it keeps us very busy. DS loves being outside and can't get enough rides on the tractor!!
Hi everyone, lovely to cyber-meet you all! I've been lurking for a while but it turns out I'm internet-shy which I never knew before, so even after making my account still hesitated to post but today my big-girl pants are firmly on
Ages (you and SO): I'm 27 and he's 25
How many months have you been TTC? 6 months/4 cycles NTNP
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Sex ED or EOD, recently started tracking CM. Unfortunately temping doesn't seem to work for me due to chronic insomnia, but I'm hoping this won't be too much of an issue considering the frequency of intercourse (that sounds so bizarre, sorry!)
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm from the UK (I hope it's OK to post here? I was unsure if this site is US/Canada specific - many of the ads are in dollars...) so some of my spelling might seem a bit strange and I'm super jealous of all the halloween conversations going on! I've been with my husband 8 years, married for 2, and we have 2 lizards. I work as a psychologist, specifically helping those with long term health conditions, and absolutely love it!

He's a type one diabetic, so that also adds a little to the mix. Hoping for some support and a BFP!

***BIG FAT TRIGGER WARNING!***
We started TTC in November 2014. BFP #1 was in July 2015, followed by a MC at 6 weeks. BFP #2 was in November 2015. When I was 24 weeks pregnant with our son, he was diagnosed with HLHS. In layman's terms, he only had half a heart. At 37 weeks pregnant, I moved a thousand miles from home to be near the best children's hospital in the world for congenital heart defects. Our beautiful son was born in July. He had open heart surgery soon after birth, and came out of it like a champ. But as he recovered, other problems emerged. Within the space of 5 days, he was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome and died of respiratory failure.
To add insult to injury, I had a placental abruption, emergency c section, and scary bout of postpartum preeclampsia. But my doctor gave us the green light to TTC, starting now.
I like interior design, knitting, growing flowers, British costume dramas, Game of Thrones, Outlander, and gossip about the British royal family. And I HATE cooking. I was expecting to be a SAHM to a medically fragile child, so I am not working right now. But I was a librarian in what now feels like a past life.

Ages (you and SO): I'm 34 and DH is 36
How many months have you been TTC? This is the first month!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Testing for ovulation with Wondfos (got a positive last Wednesday) and having sex regularly.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
Confession, I'm not actually a newbie. I was here throughout DS's pregnancy and for a few months after his birth. I left, joined a smaller FB mom board and some local groups. Missing the great info and support of TB, so I'm rejoining. Things are quite different!!
Ages (you and SO): I am 26 years old and my husband is 34 years old
How many months have you been TTC? this will be our first month actually trying, I have been off nuvaring sense june.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I have recently started swimming every morning to loose some weight. We are also looking into getting hubby's sperm checked because his brother is impotent.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am a pet groomer and hubby is in QC. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy the outdoors and camping. We have only been married for 3 months but we have wanted kids for a few years.

How many months have you been TTC? Officially 1 month (we had some delays due to issues out of our control
)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPK, tracking cycle
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids, two cats, we both work for a large academic institution in research (me) and safety (him). I am a figure skater and recently took up archery. We enjoy being outdoors and visiting our families when we have time.

How many months have you been TTC? It's been over 12 months, but we had to skip a few, so I'd say about 9 good cycles of TTC.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I've figured, BDing and checking the FW (by calendar) will be enough with time and didn't want to put much stress on it (how silly and naive of me, right?). Now I know better
Read TCOYF (thanks ladies for all thy info here on the boards!), and strated charting last cycle. So now BBT, OPK, BD EOD, tried checking CM as well, but kind of lost on that so far - hoping to get better at it.
I must add: with so much knowledge out there, I am a bit embarrassed to have 'wasted' so many months staying in the dark - but hey, I am on track now
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We moved to our new, very own appartment this year, so there are always things to work on still. I have a 9-to-5 desk job (sales administration) that I love, DH works as a Project maganer, so his job is more stressful. I am a major fitness buff, was a fat kid, started doing sports at 15, and it turns out I really love working out
Don't think I excel in anything or don't have extra pounds on me, I still do, but feel so much better about myself.
(Ps: I'm not from the US, English is my second language, so please be forgiving
Married: May 2015
TTC since September 2015
