  • Month/Cycle: 1 / 1

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins / Waiting for AF to leave / Starting OPKs for 1st time when AF leaves.

R/R: DH told me he would finish loading and run the dishwasher while I was at work. I get home and it wasn't done. I asked him about it and he said "I thought you were going to do it" ugh

    CS/Q: ---

GTKY: If you had to chose to live without one of your five senses, which one would you give up? Why?
It is between my sense of smell and taste but I would say my sense of taste. Smell would be useful for smelling gas or smoke or something. I can eat food with bland / no taste and be fine although I would miss the taste of cake and fresh baked cookies.

WAYDTGKU:  sex but will start temping and charting next cycle.

R/R:   just blah....DH is oblivious to my feelings and why I'm upset with him.   It's starting to get old.

    CS/Q:  none

GTKY: If you had to chose to live without one of your five senses, which one would you give up? Why?  This is a tough one...I love food so taste isn't an option...I'd probably go with hearing.  I could still communicate through sign language and there is other adaptive equipment out there.

  • @BrambleRose  I'm also a really picky eater and I also find it really embarrassing, but I realized recently it's because I have a lower sense of taste than most people, so I just need to eat really flavorful foods (which means having no sense of taste would probably make me more picky lol). As for your Mucinex question, I'm probably giving up on using it because I don't want to make our chances worse.
  • @britters314 yes!! Thank you for bringing up all of our other senses! That was my first thought but I was just feeling a little too lazy to go there..

@WillRunForWine21 I am so sorry for your sister! I hope she doesn't lose a tube.
  • @BrambleRose @kiwi625 thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts

Also, @britters314 @BrambleRose I was also on the mucinex team for the first time this cycle and I think it just baffled me. I felt like I had more CM but less fertile. I also dealt with sickness so that could factor in but I also was surprised by my +OPK and  somewhat think the mucinex disguised that as well

  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD: 1 :(

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, Preseed, Mucinex

R/R: I was POAS and AF flow decided to start.... I'm annoyed that I wasted a test.

    CS/Q: Nothing yet.

GTKY: If you had to chose to live without one of your five senses, which one would you give up? Why?
Smell. It could be a good thing. For example: you wouldn't have to smell the garbage when you take it out.
  • britters314 - Second the Itch lol
@WillRunForWine21@britters314, and @BrambleRose - I'm also confused about the Mucinex. I took it last cycle because I had a cold anyways. Not sure if I will do it again.
  • @manillabar Yes I am. Thank you :)

  • @mrs35 what a sweet moment with your husband! I had a smile on my face as I was reading it :)
@spk112 GL with marathon training! That's awesome! I did a half a few years ago, but I don't think my body will ever be able to handle training for a full #oldlady
@WillRunForWine21 Incredibly sorry to hear about your sister. Sending positive thoughts to you both <3
@Sugargirl1019 I'm so sorry that you had a rough Friday. If it's any consolation whatsoever, I think you (and all nurses) are total badasses.
@adirat you hit the nail on the head! She is quite the pill!

  • @mylove071407 - Sorry to hear your DH is being oblivious. Mine can be too so I get how frustrating it is

@zwink1 - Glad you had fun even with your cold

@JulesDP - Sorry about your mom. That's hard. My grandma is the same way when I call her.

@WillRunForWine21 - Sorry about your sister. Sending prayers.

@Sugargirl1019 - Awesome job saving the patient. You rock!

@adirat - I'd be so embarrassed if my mom asked that too. My mom and I discuss DH and I TTC  all the time but I don't want my dad to hear the details. That's what would be awkward for me.

WAYDTGKU: Just getting healthy and taking prenatals

R/R: My skin is getting so dry because it is getting colder outside. I love the look of Fall, but not the cold!

GTKY: If you had to chose to live without one of your five senses, which one would you give up? Why?

Easy--I would give up smell. There are so many bad smells in the world and even the good aromas do not last long. So I could live without it.
  • @SaphireSweetie88.  It's so frustrating.   The funny thing is that all he would have to do is apologize for hurting me...but he won't.   He feels he did nothing wrong.
