We are on the gulf side and our schools were closed today (as a teacher I was pretty excited) we are just getting some strong wind and it is very cloudy. No rain here yet. My best friend from college is over on the east coast and she has been in a shelter with her two kids since last night. Luckily it hasn't been as bad as the predicted but still a lot of water and wind.

I'm West Coast Florida so we had some heavy rain and wind but nothing unusual for the season. Lots of downed branches and trash cans. We're usually in the line of fire so I'm counting myself lucky.
I hope everyone continues to remain safe. Reading about the damage has been crazy. I feel bad for all you ladies down south and any loved ones folks have in the area.
