The Cubs are in the playoffs this weekend!!! DH is out of town so I'm watching by myself tonight and with friends at a bar near wrigley tomorrow. Gonna do brunch with a friend tomorrow and get a massage tomorrow afternoon. 

I'm also freaking out because I'm still having numbness and it's getting worse. I had an MS scare when I was 21 and have had multiple MRIs through my 20s that were clear- the consensus was complicated migraine and I've gotten headaches for the last 10 years that make me believe I have migraines. But today my right hand is feels weird and is having difficulty doing what it needs to do. I'm still functioning, but not well. MS flare ups are common 3-6 months after a pregnancy or when you are exposed a virus (my husbands flu), so the timing is suspect. I just want to get in to get an MRI so that I know I'm ok. I'm super frustrated. And with DH out of town, I'm just feeling more anxious about everything.

@chloe97 that sounds scary! So sorry your husband is out of town when this is happening. Hopefully you can get an MRI soon to ease your worries!!

AFM- my DH is off all weekend so we're going to hang around and be lazy for as much time as we can. He only has weekends off every 8 wks due to his rotating schedule, so this time together on normal days off is long overdue!

I have a follow up appointment from the MC this afternoon. Hopefully everything will be good. SD is in marching band so we have a high school football game tonight. SD has a marching band competition tomorrow, so she will be gone from 9am to 10pm. We will go watch once they start the competition. I have a pedicure tomorrow, yay. DH's parents are coming for dinner Sunday, so that will be nice. Monday is a holiday, so I have a three day weekend. SD is out of school as well, so I think we will make our wreath and decorate the outside entryway for Halloween. DH has to work Monday

TGIF! Just got with our third and final IUI. Had a good count, went in with a full bladder, and heard Rod Stewart on the radio on the way there - so, of course I'm totes knocked up. (H and I have a running joke about Rod Stewart being our spirit animal.)

Now, we just need to make our way through a hurricane to get back home to our pets and families. It's kinda crazy, but it's what we are doing. (Headed from Augusta to Savannah.)

Howdy Ladies... I've been MIA the last month because our life has felt like a shit show. We went to Hawaii a month ago and I got my period... on CD 19 and just 7 dpo so that sucked. Just had another period but my usual 26 day cycle.

My FIL was admitted to hospital for a week right after we got back from complications from his cancer treatments - he got out and was back in last week. Now he's home and seems to be on the mend. Now just waiting for him to heal so he can hopefully have surgery to remove tumor.

Then my new quarter started and its kicking my booty! I love teaching and its keeping me busy but with everything going on at home its been crazy.

Anyway - thats my update...

I'm on CD3 today so nothing much this weekend concerning TTC. We have a soccer game and bday party for older daughter tomorrow and are having dinner with friends and then a family bday party sunday (with inlays) that I am dreading bc I don't want people to ask about my sister and her new baby who was born a few days after my EDD. 

@chloe97 - hope everything is ok. Could your anxiety be exacerbating your problems? Mine always does. 

@NewMommyCoop - good luck at appt - hope it all goes ok.

@fivetimesnoluck - glad the IUI went off without a hitch - stay safe out there.

@chloe97  Scary when things don't work the way they should.  Hope you're able to get your MRI soon and that it's all clear.  I have a scrip for a cervical (spine) MRI myself (waiting for them to clear it with my insurance) but mine's for the more usual herniated disk/pinched nerve stuff.

@ladipale  I hope your FIL feels better and is up for surgery soon.

I thought this week would never end. We're not exactly ttc just yet (TW- just lost my first pregnancy this past Saturday at 11w5d), but are anxiously waiting till we can start ASAP (because we're old)!  I've been consolation eating all week - Monday I had a hot dog for lunch and yogurtland, Wednesday I had pizza with Pepperoni on it and the first beer I've had in two and a half months (after which I proceeded to pass out for five hours), yesterday I had deli meat and my second beer, today I had a sashimi lunch and more Yogurtland, and a few half caf cups of coffee throughout the week.  I will start eating normally (and more healthily) again after my b-day on Monday

So I guess I'm just waiting at this point - I've never had any betas done ever and they didn't care to track me at the doctor's office - Dr. just said to wait until I bleed/have a period (which annoyingly only seemed like it was for dating purposes).  I'm really impatient though.  Took an OPK yesterday ('cause I have a ton of them) and it was negative (test line not as dark as control), and Wondfo HPT with FMU this morning and it was faint (as compared to pre-mc one, or even Sunday's), so I hope those mean things are moving in the right direction! (but fully recognize that they may be useless so soon after miscarriage)

@chloe97 I hope you start feeling better soon. I've had one migraine in my life and it was terrible. To have those consistently I just can't imagine!

@artemis618 I'm a big supporter of consolation eating and drinking, hope you enjoyed every second of it!

DH and I just switched positions driving so I can finally be on my phone in the passenger seat. We are taking the 5 hour trip north to my parents house so I can be in a craft fair with my mom and sister. Sunday will be a lazy day at their house watching football and then Monday we'll make the trek back. 

Im currently cd13 so it's go time for us! DH has been a BD animal lately...5x in 7 days which is a lot for us since my libido took a hike post MC...I like that he's so into it but also worry that we'll have too much before FW and have no good swimmers left when it really matters. FX his boys are up for the job!

Exciting night at home alone with Chinese food and modem family 

have another company coming tomorrow for a pool estimate and will spend the day trying to find a turkey somewhere other than whole foods where it's $6 a lb, planning the rest of Monday's meal and relaxing. 

Im not in Canada but my husband is Canadian and I have Monday off so cooking is exciting me

Thank you to everyone for the good wishes! We made it home just in time and have been staying put ever since we got here. Actually still have power. H has fallen asleep o the couch. I'm up watching the weather channel. Hope you all have a great weekend. Will respond more when I know the worst is over. Trying to conserve power!

I'm sorry @ladipale - that's a lot all at once. Hope your FIL continues to get better and the family party goes okay. Nothing is worse than people continously bringing up the last thing you want to talk about. ):

I plan to spend the weekend practicing self care and taking naps. It has been a busy couple of weeks and I feel like I just need to rest
