My fffc is that I am a love-tit junkie. Whenever I log into TB, the first thing I do it see how many / what new love-tits I have. I'm weird like that. Also, I am still reading posts (and even re-reading some) that the admins closed down. I can't get enough - cheap entertainment for the closing shift at work.

@SaphireSweetie88 I am with you on reading closed posts...during my lurking before posting, I think I went all the way back to January 2015 looking at closed driveby threads and other drama....
My FFFC is that I don't find shows like New Girl, Big Bang Theory or HIMYM funny at all, I actually think the humor is a little embarrassing...

I am buying pies this year for thanksgiving (this wknd in Canada) because I don't have time to make them. I'm putting them in my own dishes and passing them off as homemade.
@JulesDP I agree on pumpkin! Especially when apple is an option. Apple is delicious.
My FFC... DH had 101 fever last night. My response was "FW starts tomorrow. Figure it out" I stand by the sentiment and don't feel bad at all. Especially since he turns up his nose at the flu shot and doesn't get the sleep he needs given his autoimmune conditions.

@WillRunForWine21 I did the exact same thing to my DH when he was sick this cycle. No shame.
My FFFC: sometimes I feel I get so wrapped up in TTC that I almost forget that the intended end result is parenthood. And then I get all nervous about being a parent all over again (if I'm lucky enough to get KU). And, this group is so awesome that I would really miss it.
DH has the entire next week off from work because he can't carry his vacation over at the end of the year, he has to burn through it. Since we have no plans and I will be working, I'm purposely neglecting all cleaning and house tasks that need to be done since he will have all that free time.
@LuND I totally get it - I feel like before we started TTC I was only nervous about being a parent and didn't give any thought whatsoever to getting KU (because like, omg, it'll be SO easy - hah). Now that we're in the thick of TTC it has completely flip-flopped. I think about getting KU all day, every day and will only have random waves of parental-related nerves.
TL;DR I hear ya!
@CrystalPDX brilliant plan! I would've done the same
@LuND and @JulesDP Right there with you. I never allow myself to think about parenting because I'm worried I'll jinx myself. Honestly I rarely let myself think about anything beyond wishing for a BFP -- not even later trimesters.
I don't like pumpkin either, but I love cinnamon and do cinnamon-related simmer pots all autumn long!
@CrystalPDX If I did that, DH and I would end up fighting because he would still not get everything done. He just doesn't see that things need to be done. I have to leave him a list.
@LuND Parenthood doesn't frighten me (that much), but childbirth does!
@maebee87 My SIL always brings pies to Thanksgiving and she says they are "hand-made" because her hands put them in the oven.
FFFC: When I get to about 9DPO, I start googling everything! I randomly sneeze, "sneezing sign of pregnancy?" I get a hot flash, "is temperature change sign of pregnancy?" "Can I get a BFP 9DPO?" Then, I'll go on all of the other forums that justify my BSC. "OMG! I was sneezing all the time when I first got KU. You probably are, too!" I know, deep down in my heart, that none of the things are signs of pregnancy, but it keeps my morale high.
Speaking of apple and pumpkin, my FFFC would be that I hate pie. My husband and I just went apple picking and he made a beautiful apple pie...and I hate it. I hate all pies- apple, cherry, chocolate, cream. Screw pie, bring on all the gelato, brownies and cookies.
@NYTino24 Fixer Upper!! Heck, I guess one of my FFFC could be that I've been stalking the HGTV app waiting for Season 4. #alltheshiplap @mrlight I may or may not have googled "fingers falling asleep overnight + pregnancy" the other day. I'll jump on the BSC/shame wagon with you.
My main FFFC would be how possessive I am over our kitchen/cooking dinner. DH is great with grilling, but over seasons EVERYTHING. I was so grateful to come home from catching up with a girlfriend after work yesterday to dinner on the table, but the chicken and quinoa was SO salty I think I drank about a gallon of water the rest of the night. I should be grateful, but instead I was just mad I didn't get to the kitchen first.
@RunRestRepeat Anytime DH overseasons chicken, which happens pretty often, I just eat it with ranch or bbq sauce. It kills the spice (but adds the calories).
ETA: I'm pretty sure I have googled the finger-numbness question, too. Haha!
@mrlight last month I though it was odd that I hadn't broken a nail in over a week, so I Googled "strong nails during pregnancy"...no one is safe from the BSC...
@LuND I do that too!!! I forget that the goal is a baby and
not a perfect chart lol. Then I’ll randomly get all freaked out about how much
life will change, like I’m not thinking about this every damn day.
@mrlight It is so ridiculous, literally everything “could”
be a sign of pregnancy. If your big toe itches someone else’s big toe itched
and they were pregnant and OMG YOU PROBABLY ARE TOO!!! I totally do the same
thing.
My FFFC: I have stuff in my cart at Destination Maternity.
They’re having huge sales on summer stuff and if I get KU this cycle I’ll be
pregnant in the summer and I’ll NEEEEEEED this stuff!!!!! I haven’t checked out
yet though so I could still stop this crazy train….
@kat0607 Because everyone knows that you get stronger hair and nails during pregnancy so no broken nails obviously means KU! Haha! I totally get the logic. @RunRestRepeat I agree. Sometimes the internet is bad.
@NYTino24 I LOVE Fixer Upper! It is such a tease though because I'll watch and think "I could do that... if only I was able to find Waco-priced houses here" ... and then I get sad.
@LuND@JulesDP Oh man, I'm so with you on this. But I shut down the inner thought process the same way as you, @adirat. The power of jinx is real!
@mrlight@RunRestRepeat I did this so much last cycle that my sister was convinced I was KU. The internet is sooooo bad sometimes. All those paranoid questions at our fingertips to feed the BSC monster in us all. "Was that implantation cramping? I read that might be implantation cramping." The vivid dreams one had me the worst, I think. Turns out I probably always had vivid dreams and just forgot them because I never cared before.
My FFFC: Sometimes I use catching up on TB as an excuse not to go to the gym in the morning. I'm PST so always so late to the game and if I don't post as soon as I get up everyone will be gone! Noooooo.
@ Lund oh my god yesssss! I get the same nervous feeling! So happy I'm not alone!!
Edit: words are hard
The idea of parenthood scares me shitless. I'm going to miss sleep SO MUCH. But, I'm the kind of person who has a hard time with change, and I know that I want kids, so I'm doing my best to ride out the anxiety and occasionally have my super-sensible DH and friends who are parents talk me down from a ledge.
My FFFC... My doctor told me to wait 6 months after a visit to a country with zika before trying to conceive. But my friend who went on the same trip has a doctor who will order the test for her through Quest Diagnostics. So at the moment I'm trying to figure out a way to get in for a zika test, even though my PCP told me before I went on vacation that I'd have to wait 6 months.
I don't like cupcakes. Cupcakes are silly. They taste the same as cake but they're smaller and they're harder to eat and you always get frosting on your nose. I don't understand the craze over them lately, because they look cute maybe? And don't even get me started on mini cupcakes. Maybe this is more like a UO. I confess that I have an UO.
Me: 26 DH: 27 Married 6-15-13 DS born 4-9-15 Septate Uterus BFP 10/12/16--EDD 6/24/17
@Peedy, the 6 month rule is because if your partner is infected, he can pass it to you sexually up to 6 months I think. So if he was in the zika area too, he should get tested too.
Me: 26 DH: 27 Married 6-15-13 DS born 4-9-15 Septate Uterus BFP 10/12/16--EDD 6/24/17
@LuND don't worry about the lack of sleep. Everyone makes it sound like the worst thing in the world and that you wont sleep for like 300 years. Truthfully, when I had DS I cat napped for the first 3 days or so even though he was sleeping really well. It was just the adrenaline I guess. And I got a good sleeper (not as rare as everyone make it seem) by less than a week in he was sleeping about 6 hours a night with a quick feeding and then back to sleep. The next week I was waking before him some mornings lol

@JackieMarie1989 yea, I'm aware that it can live in the sperm for 6 months, but apparently the test is very conclusive on whether he was infected or not, that's why I'm trying to get us the test. If it came back negative, we could start sooner.
@WillRunForWine21 Yes to the apple everything!! I got an apple danish out of the vending
machine at work a couple days ago and was REALLY disappointed in it.
@LuND I thought I was the only one that gets all anxious
about actually being a parent. Like, I
want a baby more than anything (and have known for a long time that I wanted
kids someday) but then I wonder will I really make a good parent!
@adirat I don’t mind cinnamon but I don’t like the really
strong cinnamon smelling things….like those cinnamon scented pinecones are
waaaaaaaaaaaaayyy too strong for my liking and I hate them
@mrlight That was me last cycle! This cycle I prefer to call it symptom
hunting. I’m trying to figure out if
anything is different this cycle from last and if it could mean I’m totally KTFU
My FFFC is that I sometimes use Find my iPhone to see where
DH is when it’s taking him forever to respond to a text about when he’ll be
home just to see if he is might already be on his way
"It's time to try defying gravity."

Oh I am full of the confessions today! I bought some "maternity" dresses and shirts off Zulily and have been wearing them. The only difference is they are longer so they don't ride up when you have a bigger bump. They are all from one brand, which I'm not willing to share because I love it and want to impulse buy from it later and I don't want more competition before it disappears from my cart. Haha
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@JackieMarie1989 I love all forms of cake! Why discriminate!? Cupcakes are more portable than a piece of cake. I mean, if I really wanted one every time I left the house, I could easily take one along. Pieces of cake, not so much. Oh and the icing ratio is normally a lot higher on a cupcake. Mmm, cake!
***TW in Siggy*** Me: 34 / DH: 33 Married: Nov 2011 TTC #1: Jan 2013, BFP Sept 2013, DD: June 2014 TTC #2: Aug 2016, BFP Nov 2016, DS: August 2017
*mobile bumping so no tags but* I also get nervous now and then about becoming a parent even tho I want this more than anything. It's usually when I'm doing things that I think will be harder with a kid or when I think about disciplining children lol Then I tell myself I'm 34 and I'll figure it out lol
My FFFCs:
1. I wore my swimsuit under my clothes to the gym today and forgot to bring undies and a bra so I've felt very naked running errands all day (thankfully I had loose pants and a hoodie so it probably wasn't too noticeable)
2. I was searching in my purse for change--- at the liquor store, no less --- and didn't realize until afterwards that I'd pulled out an opk and put it on the counter beside me It was showing the side of the package that shows the picture of the lines/what's positive or negative (so probably looked like a pregnancy test if anyone noticed). Not sure if anyone did notice but I was like...awesome lol
@rainbowturtles I wear a swimsuit to the gym all the time and am always double-checking my bag to see if I packed actual underwear for afterwards. Not that it matters, since I normally go straight home afterwards anyway...Your OPK story cracked me up, by the way.
My FFFC is that I'm screwing off at work while I should be doing data entry. I found out I have to pick up samples at the airport at 4:30pm and then drive them back to our freezer and take inventory before I can go home. Since I was supposed to be off at 5pm and easily won't be out of here until 6pm now, I'm taking a prolonged lunch....at 3:30 in the afternoon.
A second FFFC (more like a UO, I guess): It really bothers me when grown adults say that they got pregnant "on accident". I have a really hard time understanding how that happens. This was spurred by my sister telling me yesterday that my ex-BIL's new lady friend is pregnant. By "accident". She's 42 years old. HOW?! Unless you went through menopause, wouldn't it make sense to assume you're still capable of getting pregnant, however decreased your odds get as you age? There's so many options for BC now....I just don't understand. Am I being too judgy? Can someone shed some insight into something I may be missing?
My confession is that I joined Twitter just to get a discount code from Fertility Friend. Unfortunately I didn't know that Twitter was going to tell all my friends that I'm on Twitter so then I had to follow a bunch of other random pages (handles?) so that it wasn't too obvious. I don't even like Twitter!

My FFFCs:
1. I wore my swimsuit under my clothes to the gym today and forgot to bring undies and a bra so I've felt very naked running errands all day (thankfully I had loose pants and a hoodie so it probably wasn't too noticeable)
2. I was searching in my purse for change--- at the liquor store, no less --- and didn't realize until afterwards that I'd pulled out an opk and put it on the counter beside me
@rainbowturtles I wear a swimsuit to the gym all the time and am always double-checking my bag to see if I packed actual underwear for afterwards.
*Edit: to add second FFFC.
