26 Weeks today, says you can possibly hear babies heart beat through my belly now? Like just with an ear??? I've never noticed that before lol
Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Finally sent invites to the baby shower.

Baby's kicks are starting to get a little uncomfortable when he chooses my bladder to kick but it's so much fun to be able to see the movements from the outside, one of my fav parts

October 20th for glucose testing

I love to watch Sleepy Hallow with Johnny Depp!

Baby's eyelids are starting to open up this week and retinas forming. There's also brain activity! 27 weeks last week of second tri!!!!
Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Sleeping arrangements are being made for the family. We are rearranging where everyone's bedrooms will be.

Having a crappy day at work. I arranged for our department to be in the parade for homecoming at the school I work with. I made up packages of things to throw at the parade and my daughters and I made signs (on personal time and money that were requested by the director) for us to have at the parade identifying our dept. We just had our weekly meeting this morning and nobody even made on mention about any of it. So now I understand why nobody volunteers to do anything in this dept at all. You're completely underappreciated and judged for your efforts. Feeling very emotional about this right now.

We usually watch Hocus Pocus. Maybe a few others dispersed through the years but that's the one I watch every year.

26 Weeks today! Baby is the size of a Double Gulp. 
Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
No, but i should. We put the crib up two weeks ago and now i need to clean out the closet in that room and start decorating

i love being able to see the baby move. I love when she does rolls or flips.

Umm, Amityville Horror, The Shinning, Texsa Chainsaw Massacre, anything suspenseful really. I like a good scary movie.

25 weeks- baby is the size of a baseball glove! (Go Cubs!)

Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Started going to a prenatal yoga class which I LOVE.  It's so nice to be around other moms and have that community.  They offer birthing classes and breastfeeding classes and all sorts of stuff there too, so I'll be checking those out for sure.  We also met a few doulas the other day- we finally started talking about the actual birth and I realized my husband isn't too confident when it comes to being a "coach" for me.  He's just afraid he won't do a good job, or will forget what to do, etc.  It's an extra expense, but I think it'll be worth it.  We also went ahead and got our flu and TDAP shots the other day.

Been watching my belly pop up and down when I'm laying in bed and he's moving around.  It's so crazy!  Still dealing with constipation/heartburn/etc.  So far I'm managing them fairly well, but I'm sure it will be getting worse soon!

ALL OF THEM.  I love horror movies, so this time of year is so fun for me.  Hocus Pocus is a classic, I also love all the cheesy 80s flicks, and any of the new ones that come out and aren't stupid.

Still waiting for my husband to finish the closet.  If he doesn't get it done this weekend I am hiring a professional, I swear to god.

I love feeling her move.  My husband and son have both gotten to feel it as well which is pretty cool.  Also, my boobs are out of hand, size-wise.
When's your next appointment?
This Friday - general office appointment.  Plus I can do my glucose test anytime between now and the 19th.

I'm not  much of a horror movie person.  I usually enjoy the Halloween episodes of whatever shows I am watching though.

What's new with your little babe this week? How many weeks are you? 27 weeks! I keep telling everyone I'm throwing myself a party next Wednesday to celebrate finishing second tri.

Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? The rocker and ottoman came in! Still hunting for a dresser...

Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Just getting used to my new symptoms, Braxton hicks and painful kicks! For the past couple days I've been getting kicks to the bladder and cervix that hurt! Not to mention make me nearly pee myself. The Braxton hicks are just so unnerving. How many is too many? When do I worry?

When's your next appointment? Tuesday! Have to take my glucose test and do labs. Also thinking about insisting on a cervical check or ultrasound just to make sure these are really just Braxton hicks.

I am a total wimp so I don't do any scary movies. Even really suspenseful movies can be too much for me. Hocus Pocus is my only real Halloween movie.
