R/R: we are supposed to get snow on Saturday... I'm not ready for winter!
@MrsN092714 Mind if I ask what state you live in? I couldn't imagine having SNOW right now. We were glad the temp dropped from 90 degrees to the 70s last week.
@mrlight I am actually in Canada, central Alberta. It's still really early for snow here too and it definitely won't stick around yet but it's sad to see it in the forecast.

R/R: My twin sister goes in for a hysterectomy today. She's only 33 and it's hard for her to accept she can't have a third child. I can't imagine how she will take it when I get KU. I feel so bad, but her PCOS is so terrible that she doesn't have a choice.
CS/Q: Nope, I'm having a slow rise just like a lot of you ladies. I honestly think it's the weather change. It has been a weird cycle with way early O and no middle TWW dip for me.
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it?
Our first dance was to Megan Trainor and John Legend's "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" and our same day edit video was to Hayley and Michaels' "Giving It All to You." They were both perfect since they were duets that told our story. Now I'm going to go watch our video!
@MrsN092714 I hope the snow goes north of you! @BertieMeetsGertie My hubby is the same in the kitchen, but he cooks and won't let me clean up until he's 100% done. I'm usually trying to get some dishes washed or cleaning up the counter so I can go to bed! He loves Blue Apron. @lulu1180 I'm jealous of people who have short cycles. Your chart seems so tiny compared to my usual! It's like being big-footed (like I am) and wanting small, cute feet. @DugeonTrollMel I hope you start feeling better and that it's not cysts. @PolarBear517 I'm seeing lots of slow rises this month. But have no fear, my Charts like Mine shows plenty of those and a lot were pregnancy ones. @BusinessWife Just my normal progesterone makes me emotional, so I could imagine taking more would mess things up, but hopefully they find your perfect level.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Timing: So bad I'm just waiting for CD 1 so we can get this moving again. My cycles have been a wreck lately so I'm not positive I am guessing maybe a -4 and +2
Testing: Nope
R/R: Just ready to jump back into TTC! We didn't stop we just took a month off to try and relax a little because I was making us both a little crazy with stress and charting. We are going to start charting again but not worry so much lol. PS this won't happen and I'll be crazy again within a week.

GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it? I don't remember honestly I am really bad at that stuff. My DH could tell you every song that's happened to be playing at any important time in our lives. Confession: He sang to me at our wedding and I can't even remember what he sang.
R/R: I have been MIA the past couple of days. I came down with a nasty cold Saturday night and have been in bed almost constantly. Stayed home from work yesterday and today, which is stressing me out but there is no way I could have gone in.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it?
The acoustic version of "Latch" by Sam Smith. I wouldn't change it, we picked it together and it was perfect.
@mrlight and @BertieMeetsGertie Thank you! If I wasn't trying to save days for a future maternity leave, I would so drive down there to be with her. I am going to try for the weekend.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
CS/Q: Still enjoying my post-o temps lining up on the chart overlay function
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it? We had a tiny wedding, so we didn't have a first dance, but I walked down the aisle to our song - A Kiss To Build A Dream On
@berg We had a similar aisle song moment. My husband is in IT and we have a running joke that he always uses Taylor Swift videos to test that his systems are up and running! After our ceremony, we had a mix CD of modern music played by string quartet / piano and totally accidentally, guess what we ended up walking out to? The video is great - I turn to him and say "is this bloody Taylor Swift?" then we both laugh all the way out.
@Cait32 The only reason I temp after o-day is to get advance warning of my period. I'd rather be mentally prepared in the morning than look down and see blood.
@Nelbetron Mmm... I love me some shepherd's pie. I've got a really good cottage pie recipe, with cheesy mash and loads of veg mixed into the beef. You've inspired me to make it this week!
@Pinky917 Small wedding crew! We were parents, siblings, my grandpa and one friend each.
@eggplantface Oh no! You'll just have to do it properly for a big anniversary party
@Flinstone If you're only on cycle 1, be careful about messing about with your cycle this early. The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant looks at the actual scientific research behind most common TTC things and tells you whether they're worthwhile or not. Here's what she says about those kinds of supplements - https://imgur.com/4xuLB5m
@beachbunnyxo123 It's a VIP membership feature - have you recently gone back to the free version?
R/R: Slight temp drop today, booting me back out of the 98 degree range, but only by 0.04, so I figure its just a fluctuation. I'm curious to see if my LP will be shorter this cycle since it took me so long to O. I'm not entirely sure if that's how things work but everyone responds differently so I doubt there is a "normal" for that situation as well. I went to Masters swim again today and I felt like a drowning octopus the whole time. Ugh. I keep telling myself that going is what counts.
CS/Q: Nah, nothing too exciting going on.
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it? Brad Paisley's "Then". I wouldn't change it because DH and I both like the song, which is remarkable since he isn't a super country fan.
@CrystalPDX This month when I feel like the BSC might be starting to set in, I look at the same DPO from last cycle and compare any symptoms I have so I know if it's "normal" or not for me. So far it seems to be keeping it at bay but ask me again in a few days, I'm sure it will be full on BSC
"It's time to try defying gravity."

@Sirius37 Normally your cycle will be longer since your LP should stay the same give or take a day or so each cycle. If you ovulate earlier, you would have a shorter cycle.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R: Last week my neighbor/person involved with the project on the forestry road behind my house had convinced the worker to come after 6am since they have to go through our gate and driveway to get there and one of my dogs barks to let me know someone is there....and I was super grateful. But for some reason this week he's been coming at 430am again and then there's someone coming at 730 and leaving and coming back (getting firewood for the reserve) about every hour for five trips or so. I'm mostly annoyed that guy decided to come at 430 again, tho, because I feel like it's a pretty dick move when he knows it's disturbing people So anyways, I'm considering not temping for the rest of the cycle since my temp time is 530 but at the same time I hate gaps in my chart. I just hope this doesn't go on much longer.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it? I don't even know what ours will be, yet There's a couple Ed Sheeran and Ron Pope songs I love but don't think DH is as keen on them. I would just want to make sure all the lyrics are beautiful because I've known some couples to pick songs just because they like them but when you listen to the lyrics it's not actually a beautiful love song lol
Testing: We are testing Thursday morning! I just bought a First Response pregnancy test last night so we could do it earlier than the 10th. Of course, while we were checking out, in walks a friend of ours and he comes straight over to us. I tried to casually hide the box but he straight up asked us "Whatchu guys got there?!" LOL! Figures
R/R: I had a lady date yesterday with a friend of mine. We went out for coffee & breakfast and then went to see that new Masterminds movie. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. That movie was solid gold!
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Our wedding song was "Luna" by the Smashing Pumpkins and I definitely wouldn't change it. We were having a hard time finding a meaningful song for our wedding that we both liked. While road trippin' to go see family, we played Smashing Pumpkins albums for the last half of the trip. When "Luna" came on, we both instantly knew that this was the song we were looking for. It was beautiful, meaningful and it was titled after the Moon which has been a fascination of mine that I share with my DH.
@mrlight Isn't that new iPhone feature cool?! It makes it so much easier to gif. You can also add all sorts of fun texting widgets too. Like stickers and what not.
@lUnd I'm not sure I understand your question and perhaps I did not answer the CD/DPO question correctly. I ovulated on Sept 26, I am 8 days past ovulation and my next cycle day is Oct 10.
***Addendum*** I just got it! I did answer that incorrectly. Derp! I am on cycle day 23 of 28!
@Sirius37 hi wedding song twin! Your LP will typically stay the same every cycle and wouldn't really fluctuate more than a day or two regardless of when you O. The only thing different will be that your cycle will be longer.
@Amanda_Moon 10 DPO is still a little early for testing not saying that it wouldn't be possible to get a BFP but if you feel you would be really let down by a BFN you might want to wait a couple more days. Also, you may want to consider ordering some wondfos to test, as testing regularly with first responses can become costly. GL to you!
@themrs sorry for spotting and that you're losing sleep, too. Great song choice, tho!
@berg yay for better sleeps from not temping! I might have to follow suit
@BusinessWife I'm so sorry you're spotting even while on progesterone and that you've been struggling emotionally
So sorry for all the CD1s today, crap
@CallaLily25 take a deeeeep breath and step away from the Google and your chart
@MrsN092714 snow already??!! Oh hi, fellow Canuck I used to live west of Edmonton (Now I'm east of Vancouver). I do NOT miss Alberta winters
@deadasthatsquirrel looks like we're both planning to test on thanksgiving! I'm going to try for the holiday Monday but I think we're eating on the Sunday so I might test then (10dpo)...just was really hoping to wait until more dpo lol
@Sirius37 I'm planning on going to some aquafit classes because I've been having some joint problems and it's a good idea for connective tissue disease (tho I tend to get a rash from chlorine so it's a hard sell for me usually but I'll try). I'm hoping/assuming the difficulty level won't be too extreme but also worried I'll feel like a drowning octopus lol (love that visual). It is defs true that going is what counts!
R/R: Husband's birthday today, so we're going out for a nice steak dinner tonight! So pumped!!!
CS/Q: So, I don't think I EVER sleep for three hours in a row (I'm a super light sleeper, have to pee at least once or twice every night, and DH snores). Is temping totally useless for me? I'm feeling v pessimistic about this cycle and trying to think what I can change for next month - gonna do CM and CP in addition to my CBFM, which will hopefully work this time, but should I even bother with temping if that's how I sleep?
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it? Our first dance was to "Lovedust" by Luna. It was perfect. (Insert a million heart eye emoji!)

***lurking from WTO**** @amanda_moon just an FYI most women don't have an exact 28 day cycle and even if you do your regular till your not. Good luck with testing but I also second @beachbunnyxo123 if your going to test early in your cycle its best to get the internet cheapies or your wallet is going to take quite a hit.

@wabash15 I've been tracking my periods for several years now. There have been times where I am a few days early or a few days late but for the majority of the time, my cycles are 28 days long. **Edit** For the past 6 cycles, they have been exactly 28 days. Not to say that can't change at any moment (making my regular period irregular) but for right now, I'm going with a 28 day cycle because that has been my running average.
@beachbunnyxo123 I realize it's a bit early. I am just anxious. According to First Response, it's around 96% accurate 5 days before your missed period. Whether I get a BFN or BFP, I will test again on the 10th. Thanks for the tip regarding the cheaper pregnancy tests! I will look into it I miss the days where my bestie worked at a doctor's clinic and we could get them free of charge!
@lulu1180, we have another 7dpo buddy! Hey @leekat14!! @Amanda_Moon, lol I'm always paranoid that I'll run into someone I know at target! Sorry you got outed! @rainbowturtles, Ah man, I'm sorry those dang forestry people can't come in at a reasonable hour!

@deadasthatsquirrel thank you for that info, that is extremely helpful. I feel like that's me in a nutshell, impatient as all-get-out. And yes this is our first cycle trying but I have been tracking (not charting) for a year. I need to cool my jets! haha. I think I'm also going to buy a copy of the book. @Amanda_Moon your lady date sounds amazing. Makes me miss my friends back home
@NYTino24@beachbunnyxo123 (heeeeyyyyy you have great taste in music! ) Thank you for explaining the LP length for me! Now I'm wondering if there is something up with me after all since my LP has been anywhere from 12 to 16 days and it seems like it shouldn't fluctuate that bad....damn it.
@rainbowturtles Do you have a saltwater pool in your area? That's the type of pool I currently use and it's pretty awesome; I bet you anything you wouldn't suffer a rash. Get swimming though! It's one of the best workouts out there....and I could use a water buddy to help keep me accountable.
@Sirius37 I wouldn't worry that's a typical length for an LP! It could also seem like it fluctuates more if there are some discrepancies on when O occurred which can also be common with temping late, secondary signs, etc. sounds like you are right where you need to be

My friend's band played 311's cover of Love Song while I walked down the aisle and I consider that our wedding song, because -- I let H pick our "wedding song", aka the song we danced too, and I hated it. It was called Huckleberry by Toby Keith and it is really awful lol.
@Sirius37 I can only go to the leisure center pools and I'm faaairly certain they're both chlorine but I plan on asking, anyways. There's a class at 920 tomorrow that I would like to attend....I've enjoyed my lazy mornings lately since I'm being woken up so early, but I know I can do it lol (it's the latest class they have unless I want to go at 730pm ) I went for a 2.5mi walk today and did some body weight strength exercises, so that's a start
@TheMrs I hope you
sleep better tonight! I know the battle with loud neighbors ugh
@CallaLily25 It definitely looks like you ovulated to me,
and your temps are staying very high despite the moderate drop. Do you temp
vaginally?
@eggplantface I would
have been sooo frustrated with that DJ! Although we had our troubles with ours
as well, when he announced we would be taking the floor for our first dance he
definitely called me “Megan”….. which isn’t even remotely close to “Kayla” lol!
@JackieMarie1989 I am going to try my best to hold out for
testing too! I’m also 3 DPO and looking ahead, trying to make it allll the way
to next Saturday. Good luck!
@NYTino Sorry for your sister, I hope everything goes well and
she comes to peace with it. My mother always wanted 3 children and also had a
hysterectomy after 2. FWIW, she told me her pain was much more manageable
afterwards and that she felt a huge sense of relief in that way.
@Amanda_Moon I really
want to see Masterminds! It looks hilarious. Also, Smashing Pumpkins is among
my favorite bands. I always feel like I’m 14 again when I listen to them.

@PolarBear517 I temp orally, but I'm considering switching next cycle.
So, I stupidly peed on an OPK out of curiousity today because last month after O, I had either no line or a barely there line. I thought it'd make me feel better that I definitely Oed. Well, it was DARKER than the control line. And I had watery CM and a high cervix. I'm beyond confused. I can't think of any other reason for my thermal shift than ovulation. I'm not sick. I even tested for a UTI just in case...negative. I wish I knew what my body was doing.
@CallaLily25 Did you have a fever, possibly? To me that BBT seems high for an oral temp, but I am just a beginner. If you look at my chart, I had a definite sustained thermal shift at CD 14 and FF gave me dotted crosshairs (They were only dotted because I had negative OPKs for several days before and after). I am glad that I've been using OPKs because I doubted the crosshairs based on my previous experience of a strong LH surge (2 days of strong OPKs with another day on each side of almost positives seems like it would be hard to miss!). FF only took away the crosshairs after I had positive OPKs, which I confirmed with CBAD while trying to figure out what the heck was going on. I have no clue what caused that temperature jump, but at this point I'm not worrying about it and I feel I will have more information retrospectively. I scoured the internet for information on why you might have an LH surge after ovulation but all sources seemed to say that it means you haven't yet ovulated (unless of course you are so far past ovulation that you are turning OPKs because of pregnancy/HCG). I would try to HIO and proceed as though you haven't ovulated. I would guess that, if your OPK is accurate/truly positive, your temps will continue to fall and will then spike again after ovulation.

Month/Cycle: 4/3 TTCAL
CD/DPO: 20/5
Timing: -1, +1
Testing: maybe next Monday (11dpo)
R/R: Last week my neighbor/person involved with the project on the forestry road behind my house had convinced the worker to come after 6am since they have to go through our gate and driveway to get there and one of my dogs barks to let me know someone is there....and I was super grateful. But for some reason this week he's been coming at 430am again and then there's someone coming at 730 and leaving and coming back (getting firewood for the reserve) about every hour for five trips or so. I'm mostly annoyed that guy decided to come at 430 again, tho, because I feel like it's a pretty dick move when he knows it's disturbing people
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it?
I don't even know what ours will be, yet

CD/DPO: 23/8
Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1 & 1
@jacksonbears Good luck on your test today!

GL to you!
Oh hi, fellow Canuck
@PolarBear517 I love that song!!!
@tripledaggerWed95976 @kiwi2628 @julesDP @magnolia131 @callmemrschaos Ugh, sorry for CD1.
@littlebug23 Aww! Your wedding song story is so cute!!!
@NYTino24 Sending good vibes to your sister.
Month/Cycle: 5/3 (2 TTCAL)
CD/DPO: 19/who knows? (CBFM issues)
Timing: Meh
Testing: Not for another week!

Sweet baby boy arrived 7/7/17!
@amanda_moon just an FYI most women don't have an exact 28 day cycle and even if you do your regular till your not. Good luck with testing but I also second @beachbunnyxo123 if your going to test early in your cycle its best to get the internet cheapies or your wallet is going to take quite a hit.

I will look into it

GTKY: What was your wedding song? If you could go back would you change it?
We actually had two. My friend's band played 311's cover of Love Song while I walked down the aisle and I consider that our wedding song, because -- I let H pick our "wedding song", aka the song we danced too, and I hated it. It was called Huckleberry by Toby Keith and it is really awful lol.

@TheMrs I hope you sleep better tonight! I know the battle with loud neighbors ugh
@CallaLily25 It definitely looks like you ovulated to me, and your temps are staying very high despite the moderate drop. Do you temp vaginally?
@eggplantface I would have been sooo frustrated with that DJ! Although we had our troubles with ours as well, when he announced we would be taking the floor for our first dance he definitely called me “Megan”….. which isn’t even remotely close to “Kayla” lol!
@JackieMarie1989 I am going to try my best to hold out for testing too! I’m also 3 DPO and looking ahead, trying to make it allll the way to next Saturday. Good luck!
@NYTino Sorry for your sister, I hope everything goes well and she comes to peace with it. My mother always wanted 3 children and also had a hysterectomy after 2. FWIW, she told me her pain was much more manageable afterwards and that she felt a huge sense of relief in that way.
@CrystalPDX I hope you feel better soon
@Amanda_Moon I really want to see Masterminds! It looks hilarious. Also, Smashing Pumpkins is among my favorite bands. I always feel like I’m 14 again when I listen to them.
