Favorite children's/baby book? Dinosaur Kisses. We picked it up from target and then read it at home and it surprised me. Also, it's the only book my son will sit through lol
Book you think everyone should read at some point? Maybe the Narnia series? Or Watership Down. They're such childhood classics to me
Favorite series? Harry Potter, Outlander, Saga graphic novels
Favorite author? Neil Gaiman, JK Rowling, George RR Martin (although his novels take me foreeevver)
Favorite children's/baby book? I don't really have a favorite baby book, although the speech therapist in me always appreciates books like If You Give a Mouse a Cookie because of the sequencing. My favorite children's books growing up were HP, Island of the Blue Dolphins, and the Wayside School series.
Book you think everyone should read at some point? Not everyone enjoys reading, so I just hope that everyone has at least one book that they have found to be totally engrossing and impactful to read.

HPs, Never Cry Wolf, The Sound of Thunder (a short story), Fahrenheit 451, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Bridge to Terebithia... I'm sure there are more somewhere
Favorite series? Harry Potter for life
Favorite author? I'm really not good at the favorites game... When I was in middle school I read all of the Gary Paulsen (author of The Hatchet) in my school library. Lol, I don't know that he is my favorite now.
Favorite children's/baby book? Bones Bones, Dinosaur Bones by Byron Barton; Please, Baby, Please by Spike Lee; and Owl Moon by Jane Yolen. For older kids, Idk what's trendy now but I really liked (in addition to HP) the Ramona books, The Hatchet series, Holes, Shabanu, The Hobbit, The Giver, Old Yeller, and these diary ones about different historical women rulers when they were young (Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette, etc)
Book you think everyone should read at some point? Quiet by Susan Cain. It's about America's culture of extraversion/rewarding extraverted behavior when 1/3-1/2 of the population is introverted.
Favorite book? Hard question, so I'm breaking it down a bit:
- Favorite "classic" books: Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird
- Favorite more modern books: Me Before You (didn't see the movie, loved the book), Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (also didn't see the movie, heard it was bad, the book is amazing).

Favorite children's/baby book? Go Dog Go is a classic. Also as @CherryBananas mentioned, Sandra Boynton is awesome.
Book you think everyone should read at some point? A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson - it's the only nonfiction on my list but I do strongly believe everyone should read it at some point. It's basically an overview of the universe (geology, biology, astronomy, etc.) written for non-science people. Very informative and just stuff everyone should know.
Favorite book? I have so many favorites, but if I had to narrow it down, Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite series? HP
Favorite author? Nope can't answer this one. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.
Favorite children's/baby book? Does YA count? I love the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield for older kids. Otherwise, probably the Berenstein Bears or Little Critter books. Or Disney Goldenbooks.
Book you think everyone should read at some point? Not any one book, just whatever book peaks your interest in becoming a reader. Reading is too important to limit it to just one.
@Shopaholic actually, no, I've never seen the movies!
And I have to admit, because so many people listed it, I really don't like the Giver! I like a lot of other books by Lois Lowry, but The Giver has always freaked me out! (I think partly because I had to read it in second grade, and the teacher thought I wouldn't get some of the more horrifying aspects of the society, and I totally did.)
ETA fat fingers! got called by my Dr so didn't take the time to read what I wrote before posting lol
Favorite series? @luckywife10 I LOVED The Dear America series growing up. I don't think I have a current favorite series. I read all of the Hunger Game series. I've never read Harry Potter.
Favorite author? Frank Peretti or Ted Dekker, the are Christian authors who write about spiritual warefare. Fun fact, John Grisham lived right down the road from my parents while I was in college. He paid for the ball park my brother played baseball at and game to the first game each season.
Favorite children's/baby book? For DD we like "If You Ever Want To Bring An Alligator To School, Don't!" by Elise Parsley. She is my good friend's sister! I can't wait until DD is old enough to read American Girl Doll books and the Amber Brown series.
Book you think everyone should read at some point? Hmm idk.

I am also looking forward to reading The Girl on the Train soon!
@kayemjay2 my boys like The Little Blue Truck.
Thank you ladies. I have added to my reading list. Can't wait to read some of these books.
It seems like a lot of us have similar taste in books. Maybe we could do a book club each month?
edit- I think I mean post, not forum. Hopefully you all know what I mean.
