Many of us are halfway and have formed some strong bonds. It can be intimidating to jump in to a group of women who already seem to have such a great comraderie, so how about jump right in here?

1. I've been lurking since the board formed. My BFP was at 10dp5dt, which was before this board even existed (I think).
2. I'm due 2/11 with a boy, who we are naming Linus Harvey. My identical twin girls (who I lost as a complication of fetal surgery due to SIUGR) were named Millicent Catherine and Gertrude Eloise. Both of my pregnancies were via IVF due to unexplained infertility (not just due to lack of a penis, lol). My wife and I have been together for 17 years.
3. I don't like pumpkin or pumpkin-flavored things, but I do like pumpkin-scented things! (Hope that counts for something!)
4. Hopefully in another 18.5 weeks, I'll have one child! (For the record, everything looks good for this kiddo!)
5. As a lesbian, I think you can all guess how I feel about BJs...

I've been on this board since I got my BFP at 12 days, and have posted a few times, but would probably still call myself a lurker in that I don't say much. I often fall behind on conversations, read something, think about replying, and then the conversation has moved on. It's been informative to read through the posts on this board though.
1. How long have you been lurking? - since May
2. Tell us about yourself - 36 year old, first pregnancy, due 02/10. My partner and I have been together for 13 years. We were trying for ages and a couple days after our first appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist, we got our BFP.
3. Do you like pumpkin? - I like savory pumpkin and squash things. I have pumpkin pie around the holidays. But I don't like pumpkin spice flavored things.
4. How many children do you have? - One coming up!
5. How do you feel about bj's? They're called a job for a reason...

I like pumpkins and looking at them. Not so much I'm my food unless I'm like craving it.

I've been lurking since probably June.
2. Tell us about yourself
DH and I have been married since June 2015. We had been best friends since 2003, and started dating in 2011.
I am a school psychologist and absolutely love my job! I really liked the teacher thread a while back since I deal with some similar struggles being in the school system.
3. Do you like pumpkin?
Pumpkin is ok to me...but if I had to choose between a PSL and a Peppermint Mocha, I would choose the mocha, hands down!
4. How many children do you have?
None yet, just our little girl on the way!
5. How do you feel about bj's?
BJ's are a last resort lol

I'm a clinical social worker who focuses on care for low income families. I love working out and teach group fitness part time, which is good because I love to cook/bake/eat even more. I live in NH with my husband and our pup, who is pretty excited to be getting a human so we will stop acting out all of our parenting instincts of him!
3. Do you like pumpkin?
Love it, but hate PSLs. They taste nothing like pumpkin to me and remind me of licking a cinnamon stick.

I enjoy them to get things started, but not as the main event
I'm 26, have been married for 4+ yrs and am pregnant with baby girl #4. We've had a baby each year of our marriage so that's not been the easiest decision but it's never boring.
I don't like any pumpkin-ish food. I just bought a pumpkin scented candle at the urging of my 3 yr old so we shall see if I like that.
All I can really say on this topic is that they are fine but I am more of a taker than a giver in this area. TMI?!
And I hope all of you start participating more...I'm getting tired of these bishes and need new people!
Also, this was a great idea @spicyweiner and I'm loving' hearing from all the lurkers and newbies and am excited for more mamas in the board!!! Yay! Just please don't post a picture of your child's genitals and ask for our opinions on their gender or ask me how much weight I've gained because... well, I may be a math teacher but I don't want to count that high!
This is my 2nd child and I am having a boy due Feb 10th! My daughter just turned 6 on Friday
Not a fan of anything pumpkin, I do like taking my daughter to the pumpkin patch every year if that counts.
2nd baby, also had two losses. Both my babies are rainbow babies

Since the beginning of June! I check here pretty frequently, but often just don't have time to keep up with threads so I have taken the lurker status. I try to love tit here and there though.
2. Tell us about yourself
I'm a first grade teacher and wife of a farmer/rancher. We are CONSTANTLY going and busy. We struggled with IF and had a miracle BFP on the same day as a consult for a double surgery I was going to need. Talk about a miracle.
3. Do you like pumpkin?
Ehhh...it's okay. I do love pumpkin pie though and am really looking forward to it!
4. How many children do you have?
This little guy will be my first, and quite frankly I'm scared shitless to be a boy mom.
5. How do you feel about bj's?
I hate them! Lol funny story though, the cycle I got my BFP I actually gave one and swallowed. That was a first. Ever. We joke I get knocked up from that end instead of the traditional.

I don't live in the U.S. anymore, having moved to a large European city, so my perspective and needs tend to differ from the majority on the board - another reason for the lurking (For example: Car seats? So not interested. Sturdy, city-friendly strollers? Let's chat for hours)! On that note, would a thread specifically for city moms interest anyone?

I am a FTM with a scan EDD of 3-2 but I believe there is an Aquarius or early Pisces baking away in here. I live in West Africa which is interesting and challenging esp. to be experiencing in my first pregnancy. I am blessed with new friends to help encourage and inform me as I learn and adjust. I'll be 41 when I deliver, so go uterus for not giving up!
My worst pregnancy symptom thus far is hands down (npi) carpal tunnel in both hands. I am a writer so it's a double whammy but hopefully it will go away.
3. Do you like pumpkin?
Yes pretty much. My mom makes great pumpkin pie and my aunt makes a pumpkin roll with cream cheese that is out of this world.

This will be my first!

Lol this is why Feb 2017 moms group is a keeper. Did you know a month after Valentine's day has been dubbed Steak and BJ Day? Keep that in mind during those first six sexless weeks after delivery

Hi ladies! I guess I'll jump right in---
Been lurking since pretty close to the beginning. I was a lurker on TTGP and I honestly don't think I would've ever seen a positive test if it wasn't for that. Thought I was due in early March so I lurked over there for a while, and found out I was due 2/27, so here I am! You guys turned out to be a little more my speed anyway, having been a lurker on TTGP I was used to a little more sass with my scientific info.
I'm a FTM, but had an early loss previously (would have been due this month), so I'm still a little antsy and nervous even though I'm almost halfway there. Been with H for 5 years, married for two. He is a little older than me (I'm 30, he's 43), so we are planning on two kids even though I'd love to have more. He keeps saying he'd like to retire eventually so I guess that's pretty fair.
I like me a good PSL but that's pretty much it for the pumpkin spice craze for me. Not really into pumpkin spice Cheerios, Oreos, wine, etc. I do like normal pumpkin things though like pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie.
BJs are ok--much more into them to get things started so to speak, than for that to be the whole thing. That takes for.ev.er and I'm lazy (obviously).
So glad to actually jump in here! I've thought about it a few times, but as pp's said, after a while it seemed a little weird.

2. Tell us about yourself: TW: I got married in June 2015 and got my first BFP in October, followed pretty quickly by a loss. So far this pregnancy has been uneventful and for that I am really thankful. Little girl is due 2/6.

I've been lurking since almost the beginning. I'll come here a few times a week mostly to the symptoms thread. I waited so long to say something I didn't want to seem like a creeper, but I'm glad to see Im not the only one that was feeling like that!

Im 23 and have been married almost 2 years. We have one son, he was born June 2015. I am due Feb 6th with a little girl, Hayden Grace. I can't believe it's already halfway over!

I've been around since the beginning and haven't been a TOTAL lurker...I intro'ed and responded here and there in the beginning. My schedule makes it a little hard to do more intense participating than just scrolling through new posts, but I want to try harder in this second half of pregnancy!

I'm 33, a librarian at a university, an animal lover, an enthusiastic sports fan (of both the Green Bay Packers [I grew up in WI] and the Chicago Cubs [I've lived in Chicagoland since my first year of college])...and I have three tattoos (a lily, Picasso's peace dove, and an illustration from Charlotte's Web).
3. Do you like pumpkin?
I like actual pumpkin, and I love any pumpkin-based baked goods, particularly pumpkin donuts. I have never given two hoots about pumpkin spice lattes, though I love coffee.
4. How many children do you have?
In terms of human offspring, I'm a FTM. I currently have one dog-child and two cat-children.
5. How do you feel about bj's?
I feel that I excel in this area.

1. I've been lurking since early July I think - mostly because I was SO SICK and wanted to be sure it was normal.
2. I'm 25, work in admin for a special education school. This little nugget will be our first - baby boy (Elliott Preston) due 2/6. Hasn't been a super easy pregnancy (I'm still puking multiple times each week, just diagnosed with placenta previa) but absolutely worth it
3. Not the biggest pumpkin person. Although I saw something on Facebook the other day about pink pumpkins as decoration, and they were more beautiful than most humans I know.
4. This will be our first!
5. BJs have always been more of a pregame, in my mind. Although now that I'm on pelvic rest, I'm learning to suck it up (no pun intended
