Had my 35 week check on Wednesday, and 36 week this upcoming Wednesday. Man, I can't believe how close it's getting. Had my group B strep test done, it was pretty painless, came back negative. My doctor was chuckling at how much he was moving around during measuring the fundal height and using the doppler, he's an active little dude already!
Had my 34 week appt on Wednesday. All was well with baby. Fundal height was measured at 32 weeks. This may not be a big deal as long as baby measures 34 weeks at 36, so I'm not worrying yet. I had lower amniotic fluid levels at my anatomy scan, so I was somewhat prepared for it. Hoping baby will continue to grow well!
Has anyone else had their gbs test come back positive? Had my 34 week appointment on Monday, 10/03 And had that test done. Came back positive, and all they said it meant was I had to have antibiotics during labor. I did some of my own research and there's chances it could be really bad for baby. Should I be worried? What about everyone else?

I had gbs with my first pregnancy. It was no big deal, you will just have a bag of fluids and antibiotics during labor. I'm sure what comes up during research could be what happens if antibiotics aren't used.
@eribeau mine came back positive. She said it's pretty common and I'll just be given antibiotics through my iv. I wouldn't worry too much. She also said that even if I didn't have antibiotics there's like a 2% chance it could transfer to the baby but the antibiotics will make it not possible.
