Bumping on my way to the airport this morning! Otherwise I'd never be up this early on a Sunday.
Cycle/Month: 5/4
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: The most important thing of all has started... EOD.
R/R: Short-term, but I can't wait to get on a plane and fall asleep.
CS/Q: Not a question but a PSA: I had a nice CD9 temp spike fakeout this morning -- 97.3 when my typical coverlines are 97.0-97.1. I've had no other signs yet (no o pain, no ewcm, never o'd this early before, nothing) plus no alcohol or change in room temperature. This is a long way of saying to newbies that yes, random spikes for no apparent reason do happen!
GTKY: The comfort food I make for myself is linguine with clams -- my favorite pasta. Always white, never red sauce. The comfort food from my childhood is my dad's grilled brats with sauerkraut. Yum!
@adirat My dh loves pasta with clams too! He asks me to make it for him quite often.
Cycle/Month: 8/8

WAYDTGKU: Charting, temping, opks, and preseed as soon as af is gone.
R/R: One of my students gave me a nasty cold. I'm already looking forward to coming home this evening after all day of classes to get back into my comfy bed and sleep.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? My momma's homemade chicken noodle soup.
R/R: I just want a temp spike! I had EWCM for two days and then nothing yesterday, so I hope that it won't be too much longer for two reasons: we have company coming on Tuesday staying with us for the rest of the week and also I just want an earlier O....(I'm typically 16/17, but post loss was 20, then 18...)
CS/Q: none now. It's not that my chart is confusing, it's just annoying.

@marley629 it tastes even better than it looks, but I use a different recipe for the cake part (from this cake recipe...the whole thing is good too, but I always use the cake part of the recipe for any chocolate cake I'm making)...and I modify the filing part (whipped cream instead of coolwhip), so maybe putting that link in there was not useful! It's great as a slab cake too if I don't want to go through the whole process

GTKY: I love baked mac and cheese. I need to figure out how my mom and aunt make it exactly. They use a different kind of pasta, like rigatoni or something and a whole bunch of cheeses. The top layer is always slightly crispy and then the inside is all warm cheesy goodness... of course, now I also need @buthayna's cake in my life!

@buthayna - yes, cake counts. And that one looks amazing!
Cycle/Month: 5/7 (did these flip somewhere? does it normally say month/cycle?)
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, OPK, CM, CP, preseed, EOD.
R/R: Well, first positive OPK today. That was unexpected! I usually O around CD19, but have been as early as CD15 so definitely is possible with my regular cycle. But was really weird. I haven't been seeing too much CM leading up to it, so I'm not sure yet. But on the plus side, DH has been like a teenager, so we're already on EOD timing.
CS/Q: Does anyone know, with CB OPK's since it's based on your previous days LH, I usually start on CD11 but forgot that day and started on CD12. Is there any way that the levels it read one day to the next are giving false positives? It just seems early to me. But I know - you're regular until you're not. And I HAVE O'd on CD15 before, but it's pretty uncommon.
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Hmm...as a kid, it has always been meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I do love a good gorgonzola pasta that DH found and made for me once, and now I want it for every anniversary/valentines dinner (we cook together instead of going out).
R/R: Very bummed that after a small temp dip yesterday my temp only rose 0.17 degrees. CBAD peak reading from Thursday dropped off yesterday, today's was negative as well as a clearly negative wondfo (yesterday's negative was still very close to +). CM is sticky so it doesn't seem like O day could be today. Everything but temps would imply I ovulated yesterday... so either my body geared up and then never did or it's a slow rise. Messing around with temps in FF I don't think it's going to give me CH for a slow rise.
CS/Q: not really but if you read above feel free to stalk it!
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Probably pizza... that's my "I'm frustrated and don't want to cook for myself" meal so I'm going to say it counts as comfort food!
@buthayna I hope you see your temp spike soon! And that cake looks delicious!
@manillabar ooooh mac and cheese is a good one! I've tried a couple crock pot recipes for it and they turned out delicious but I'm still looking for the perfect one
@manillabar I love baked mac and cheese! @Buthayna that cake looks amazing! @krisnicole23 I hope you feel better soon! @adirat white sauce with pasta is the best!
Cycle/Month: 2/2
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: HIO, temping, PNVs, tracking CM
R/R: I got to sleep in! Plus DH and I had ice cream last night and it was delicious. My combined rant/rave was that I think I o'd 4 days earlier than O did last month. I am glad I O'd earlier, but I wasn't expecting it quite this early and wish I would have gotten another day of sex in. I was sure my OPK was going to be positive yesterday morning and O today so I didn't push for sex Friday night. I wish I would have.
CS/Q: Just waiting for crosshairs,
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Pasta with white sauce. Or stroganoff. Basically anything with pasta.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, OPKs, all the sex. Really really regretting not temping this month.
R/R: Yesterday was day 3 of 'positive' OPKs. The line was significantly darker than the day before (which I was pretty much considering negative) and not as dark as the day before that. Wtf? I thought it would have been negative for sure and I'd be jumping on over to the TWW but that's not the case. Guess we will see what today's pee stick shows.... Happy note, Gramma came and watched the boy last night so me and hubby could go for a late anniversary date. I felt really pretty! Had a great time even though he got the wrong meal altogether and both of our steaks were over done. And now my child is up really early but just wants to cuddle so I'm enjoying it.
CS: wish I had a chart to stalk....
GTKY: I like a good jambalaya or an Alfredo pasta. Mmm

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, probably going to try mucinex closer to o (by probably I mean I bought some on Amazon yesterday out of a desire to do something at all.)
R/R: Rant - I had a dream I got a BFP last night but even in dream world, the line was squiggly so I knew it wasn't real. I haven't been at this very long at all, but cycle 4 is getting to me, and I hate it.

GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal?
I'm with @PolarBear517 on comfort food being food I don't have to make. For me, that's chick-fil-a. I go for a spicy chicken deluxe and a sweet tea, and it makes me so happy.

@JackieMarie1989 I would be surprised to have such strong positives and peak CBAD readings after O and my CM was much better around the time of the positives as well. Also CD 14 would have been 9 days earlier than last cycle. FF gave me dotted CH for that day but took them away with my OPKs. So, it is possible I suppose but I guess I'll just know in retrospect if I end up getting AF around CD 26

GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? This is a tough question for me because I was raised on what most people would call "comfort food." So I'll go with what my favorite meal was growing up. Thrifty Steak, Gourmet or Delicious Potatoes, Fresh Lima Beans, and any dessert my Mom made. My parents now do the Paleo diet due to health issues my Dad has so I never get any of these things anymore.

R/R: pretty sure yesterday or today is O. Had a lot of cramping yesterday, but today's OPK is at 80%. I temped yesterday and today and although today's was higher than yesterday's it was not above my typical coverline temp. And that's it for temping until next weekend and at that point they better be post-O! Darn shift work. Hopefully it will help the keep the BSC at bay with one less thing to obsess over.
CS/Q: if you aren't temping to confirm O (and waiting the 3 days to get CH) when is it appropriate to move to TWW?

CS/Q: Nothing now! Sleeping in on the weekend has made my chart look crazy. If I exclude those days, I'd have a nearly straight line.
GTKY: I second @PeachyTeachy with mashed potatoes. I also love pioneer woman's beef tenderloin and butternut squash with kale (It's amazing! Best way to eat kale!)
Sorry -- I didn't realize I transposed cycle and month. (Did they used to be reversed? I just pasted from my notepad which was itself pasted from old, months-ago threads, but I can fix it moving forward.)
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup. I made some on Friday night (I used pepperjack and provolone cheese) and it was so satisfying.
R/R: I went to the endocrinologist last week and I wasn't a fan at all. She hardly spoke to me, and just ordered more tests, mostly to see if I have Hashimoto's. OK, but what does that matter if the treatment is the same?? It's probably good that I'm getting these other tests done too, but.... I think I will be doctor shopping depending on the results, which I will get Thursday. I don't think this is someone I would trust long-term, since literally the only thing she asked me is if I have irregular periods. Oh, and if I'm still on Nuvaring, which I had already told her nurse I am not. I'm no doctor, but that would probably be the first thing I quit when TTC!!!!
CS/Q: These are the blood tests I had done Thursday. Anything else I will expect to need when I find a new endo/RE? I'm starting to feel like a pincushion :-P TSH, 3rd Generation T4, Free T3 Free Thyroid AB (ATA, TPO) FSH and LH Testosterone, FR/TOT, LCMSMS Prolactin DHEA Sulfate
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Probably my grandma's spaghetti sauce and meatballs, but my grandfather has taken over the cooking in the last several years, so I'll probably never really have it again Lately it's been really upsetting my stomach, too - We do Sunday dinner every week, but I might have to start skipping the actual eating part.
ETA: I also had to ask the endo if I had to take these tests on a specific cycle day, just from my limited time here on TB, and then she decided, yes, before CD10. Any comments on that from you more knowledgeable ladies? I took them on CD 5 I believe.
Highly monitored internet and no cell service in the office, so I'm postin' and ghostin' while I'm workin'
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, temping, opks, preseed, cut out soda, made hubby take a vitamin
R/R: I woke up to temp but went back to sleep for another 5 hours! It was wonderful!!
CS/Q: I got a positive Wondfo last night but negative CB. I had a dip in temps yesterday and only went up a little today so hopefully it'll go up tomorrow.
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Mine is weird. My comfort food is chicken nuggets & Mac and cheese that my mom would make when my dad would go out of town when I was little. Being an adult now I realize that she did it because it's extremely easy but I love it when I'm having one of those days. Tyson chicken nuggets popped in the oven. And the Mac and cheese is elbow macaroni cooked with chunks of cheddar cheese mixed in. No milk or anything. It makes it so stringy and I love it!!!
@Buthayna this may be 2 for 2 in recipes you post on here that I try! Last week's apple oatmeal cookies were divine (my DH is celiac, I just have to do some flour substitutes but I have gotten used to that.) Thank you!!
@BrambleRose I understand about the mucinex. I am starting it this cycle as well. @britters314 and I had a whole discussion about it yesterday as far as timing and logistics and really I think the reason I am diving in this cycle is just because I need to feel like I am being proactive somehow. Pretty soon the TTC prep will take up all the time and I am worried I will forget about the BD part!
R/R: we have a wedding this evening which will be fun and it is extra awesome for me because my school is closed for Rosh Hashanah (if anyone is celebrating, I hope you holiday is lovely) so I can recover! Also BD can start because DH is home so at least this is the fun part of the cycle

WAYDTGKU: temping, sex
R/R: I just want a temp spike! I had EWCM for two days and then nothing yesterday, so I hope that it won't be too much longer for two reasons: we have company coming on Tuesday staying with us for the rest of the week and also I just want an earlier O....(I'm typically 16/17, but post loss was 20, then 18...)
CS/Q: none now. It's not that my chart is confusing, it's just annoying.
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal?
cake counts, right? my homemade chocolate sour cream cake with cream cheese whipped cream oreo topping....

WAYDTGKU: temping, wondfo OPK, CBAD

Mmm

and this his one on the stovetop:

Both turned out pretty well. I'm a big fan of white cheddar and Panera's mac & cheese so I think next time I'll use the crock pot but make sure to use the cheeses from the stovetop recipe. Now that I'm on this train of though I may have to run out to the store lol

CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal?
I'm with @PolarBear517 on comfort food being food I don't have to make. For me, that's chick-fil-a. I go for a spicy chicken deluxe and a sweet tea, and it makes me so happy.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, Charting, IF testing
I'm starting to feel like a pincushion :-P
TSH, 3rd Generation
T4, Free
T3 Free

GTKY: What is your favorite comfort food meal? Probably my grandma's spaghetti sauce and meatballs, but my grandfather has taken over the cooking in the last several years, so I'll probably never really have it again
ETA: I also had to ask the endo if I had to take these tests on a specific cycle day, just from my limited time here on TB, and then she decided, yes, before CD10. Any comments on that from you more knowledgeable ladies? I took them on CD 5 I believe.

@BrambleRose - I totally had a TTGP dream last night...I was pretty far along, but then the baby came early and we didn't have anything ready...like, no car seat, no crib, nada. Lol. What a weird thing to dream. Maybe it's a sign for us! Fx this is your cycle.
@PolarBear517 - My chart usually looks something like that... not quite as drastic, but I usually have higher temps during AF, then it goes down, and then rises .5 above ALL of those temps after O and hangs out up there. Hang in there for a few days and see what temps do...maybe a false LH surge? Or maybe it was O... Sorry I'm no help. Just sympathizing. It's so impossible no to try to overanalyze these things.
