Heat rash? Eczema? Help!

FTM here so of course I'm worried. LO has this rash, she's had similar ones, but on a much smaller scale. It's all over her stomach, neck, and back. She doesn't seem irritated by it And she doesn't have a fever so I'm not too entirely worried. Any advice?

Probably heat rash but it never hurts to call your pediatrician. Do they have a service where you can text or email pictures? Any other symptoms? Vomiting/diarrhea/fever?

@laurenm2123 No other symptoms. I was thinking maybe it is just a heat rash, I live in las vegas it's 95 today so it's still pretty warm. If it's not better within the next few hours I'll email our ped.
  • My baby has the exact same looking rash.  We live in Southern California, where it is 1000 degrees, so I really think it's heat rash.  It's popped up the past few days when temperatures have risen again, and I get heat rash bad, too.
  • It's hard to tell and I would just call the ped on Monday and see what they say. My second LO broke out all over like that and it was eczema they had never seen a case like it before. It went away after a week and now he just gets spots of it, he's 4. We never figured out what caused the whole body breakout but it didn't seem to bother him. Hope it goes away soon!
  • Thank you ladies!!
  • Poor baby, looks like heat rash, but your pedi will tell you and probably prescribe something...
  • My lo had that and the ped said it was heat rash as well.  We are in Orlando so humidity and heat are awful.
  • I agree, probably heat rash. My daughter had that and it went away in about 36-48 hours. It didn't seem to bother her either. Maybe you can email a pic to your pediatrician to make you feel better
  • I would say heat rash. When my daughter had it her dr said just a luke warm sponge bath and no lotions for a few days. Hers went away in about 3 days.
