I'm back (losses mentioned)

I had a short stint here in June and July however this journey has been far from short for my wife and I.  She is the one TTC right now and we got our first BFP in August and were super excited.  We were told we were having twins.  Two babies after 2.5 years of failed fertility we final had our family.  Fast forward to 9/1.  We had our second U/S with the RE and he told is that Baby A no longer had a heartbeat, we would only have one baby.  We we're ok, sad about A but excited we still had Baby B and it was doing great.  9/29 we went for our first prenatal visit and the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler so he did a quick scan.  He found 2 empty sacks.  We now lost Baby B.  We are deviststed!  D&C scheduled for 10/6 then we start this whole process all over again.

TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
since 2/2014

7 IUIs, 1 cancelled due to too many follicles, 6 BFNs.
IVF #1 & 2 Failed
IVF #3 20 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized with ICSI, 6 made it to day 5
             2 blasts transferred 7/17
Beta #1 7/26 ***BFP*** 144
Beta #2 7/28 271
Beta #3 8/4 1972
8/15 - Officially pregnant with TWINS
9/1 - Baby B no longer has a heartbeat, Baby A is holding on!
9/29 - MMC
Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 15
Next cycle will be FET without PGS testing. 
3/27 - FET transferred 2 "excellent" blasts 
Beta #1 4/5 ***BFP*** 107 (9dp5dt)
Beta #2 4/7  244  (11dp5dt)
Beta #3 4/14  2038   (18dp5dt)
4/25 - Confirmed pregnancy. Baby measured 1 day behind, FHR 132
5/9 - 2nd U/S - Baby measured one day ahead, FHR 178
12/21 - Baby Boy born
12/10 - FET transfered 1 3BB blast

    Ugh that is just awful!  I'm so sorry to hear about your journey.  Wishing you and your wife peace as you recover from this heart break, and so much hope as you move forward.

    So sorry to hear this!  I hope all goes well on 10/6 and she recovers well. IF is terrible and unfair. Please take care of one another during this difficult time.

    Age: 32 (same with DH). Together since 2006, Married June 2013 and TTC since August 2015
    Diagnosis: Mild Endo, DOR (AMH of 1.5), Poor Quality Eggs/embryos, Displaced Window of Implantation (ERA Post Receptive)
    March-May 2016: 1 TI and 2 IUIs- BFN 
    June 2016- Laproscopy- found/removed mild endo and confirmed only 1 normal healthy ovary.
    August 2016- IVF #1 with Antagonist Protocol- Cancelled (2 lead follies), converted to IUI- BFN
    Oct-Nov 2016- IVF #2 with Estrogen Priming Micro Lupron Protocol, 2 eggs retrieved, day 3 transfer of 1- BFN
    January 2017- New RE, IVF#3 with Estrogen Priming Antagonist Protocol, 12 eggs, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, 2 day 5 early blasts transferred (none to freeze :(), BFN
    May 2017- Sept 2017- Starting Donor Egg process! Waiting for donor to be available... and then she is pregnant at baseline :(
    Oct 2017- Donor #2: 25R, 22M,18F, 12 blasts frozen! Fresh transfer cancelled due to thin lining with fluid :(
    Nov 2017- Hysterscopy to remove polyp
    Dec 2017- DE FET #1 on 12/8 on 2 perfect blasts- BFN and devastated
    Jan-Mar 2018- ERA #1- Post receptive by 24 hours, ERA #2 RECEPTIVE with 4 days of Progesterone
    Apr 2018- DE FET cancelled for lining issues :(
    Jun 2018- DE FET #2 of two 1AA blasts- first BFP ever! Beta 10dp5dt- 378, Beta 14dp5dt- 2840, Beta 16dp5dt- 4035, beta 18dp5dt- 10916. Due on 2/20 with one baby after a vanishing twin
    Baby Born born early @ 33.5 weeks due to Pre-e
    Back for # 2!

    @Holzie I'm devastated for you. To finally feel like you were getting your happily ever after to have it ripped from your grasp... so so hard. I hope you and your wife are healing emotionally (as well as physically for her). Have you had a follow up appointment with the RE yet? Did they give you any insight? I'm so sorry for your losses. <3

    Started TTC April 2011
    Me: 32, DH: 32
    Diagnosis: Endometriosis

    • 2012 - 3 Rounds clomid - all BFN
    • 2013 - 1 Fresh IVF with 2 day 3 embryos - BFN
    • 2014 - 1 Frozen IVF with 2 day 5 embryos - BFN
    • Took a long break, continuing trying naturally
    • Feb 2016 - Biopsy = Endo, DH sperm improved from 1% to 6% morphology
    • March 2016 - Fresh IVF cycle with acupuncture & intralipids: 20 eggs retrieved (17 mature), 7 ICSI'd fertilized, 9 naturally fertilized. 16 total embryos!
    • April 8th - 2 embryos (1ICSI and 1 Natural) transferred. (7 blastocysts frozen), April 18th - Beta = BFN
    • Sept 23rd - Lupron Depot Injection for Endo control
    • Nov 15th 2016 - Started daily Lupron Injections for upcoming FET
    • Nov 22 - Baseline US/BW - Intralipid Infusion - Start Meds for FET with immune protocol
    • Dec 16th FET transfer of 3 embryos (1 - AA, 2 - BB)

    • Dec 22nd - first ever bfp (very faint lines FRER & cheapie)
    • Dec 27th Beta = 192, Dec 29th Beta = 379
