I'm back!

Hey ladies!  After my son was born I kind of quit using this forum, and now I am wondering why! I missed you ladies!! I love seeing that so many of us are pregnant again (I am slightly jealous!) and that so many people are still on here! ❤️

I do have a question, I EP'd my son until 6 months. It took a good month and a half for many period to return. After that my periods have been averaging 60 day cycles.. ugh.. everything about my period is so different now! My boobs never hurt, periods only last 2 days and only the first day is "heavy"..

this may not seem like a problem, but, it bothers me! I've been reading about PCOS and I'm scared that is what's wrong.. I've never had issues before so I'm not even sure if that's possible! We are not TTC by any means, but I would like to try within the next year but I am scared it will be very hard to conceive with my periods being so wacky!

Sorry for the long lost, it has been a while!!

Re: I'm back!

  • I can't help with the changing periods but I had the exact same thing happen with boob pain.  Before I got pregnant my breasts would swell and get really sore. During my first trimester with DS1 they were so painful and it was one of my first signs.  After I gave birth to my first that completely went away, they were never sore before my period and they were never sore when I was pregnant with DS2 either.  When I got pregnant this last time it was the same until a few weeks ago.  I only started getting boob pain at the middle/end of 2nd trimester.  My OB said it wasn't concerning and that all pregnancies and bodies are different.

  • Really?! Ahhhh that makes me nervous because that is basically how I knew I was pregnant! I wonder what the deal is!
  • That was what kept me from being suspicious this time around because the boob pain was the first thing to show up last time, not even a bit sore this time, my period never came back to normal either, I'd take a cheap test just for peace of mind... We weren't trying either
  • I did take a test and it was neg, thank goodness! But wow, that is crazy how it can be so different!!
