R/R: got to watch my 1 year old godson yesterday and had so much fun with him! Sad to be back to reality and going back to work today after a good weekend!
CS/Q: none
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? I lived in Spain for a few months and taught English at a school from K-8th grade. Such an awesome experience and so great to see how different the culture is from the US.
Testing: I tested negative yesterday when AF was due.
R/R: Still no AF today. Not sure what is going on or when to tell my OB/GYN I am getting negatives and have no period. Which is why I didn't bump all weekend. I was, and still am, in limbo and don't really fit in anywhere. So I am just over here like...
CS/Q: Nah.
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? Other than the fact that my husband and I are in the process of getting pregnant I would say it's how much I hate feet. They are gross and weird. I don't even like people touching mine.
*lurking* @EL824 I can see that you don't know how many DPO you are. Are you temping and doing OPKs? If not, you probably miscalculated O and may need to wait a bit longer.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R: sitting at the airport trying to go home from Boston and my flight is delayed... back out to philly tomorrow. Quick turnarounds with delays peev me
CS/Q: since I seem to be ovulating so late in my cycle I have been looking into holistic remedies to try and see if I can get it earlier. Has anyone had any luck with natural remedies for this?
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you?
i really don't think people know that I have bad anxiety (GAD). Nobody believes me when I tell them because I have managed it "so well" my whole life. Only my family and my husband know how bad it can be. I have read academic books regarding anxiety and those actually have helped me understand the biological/psychological reasoning behind it and that helps a ton! I just hate the stigma behind mental illness/depression/anxiety and used to sneak out of my college house to go to my therapist in the early mornings once a week!
@NYtino24 I don't know when I O'd because I am not temping or using OPKs. I am going off of my normal 28 day cycle which I know from reading here that you are normal until you aren't.
*edit to add I am also going off CP. I have been low, closed and tight for the last 2 weeks
Testing: Negative today again. This ball game is over.
R/R: I go to Starbucks most mornings during the second week of the TWW as a little treat for myself, and I got a dark roast coffee and a chocolate cake pop today. Terrible breakfast from a health stand point but so.f'ing.good.
CS/Q: Does anyone here stop temping after ovulation? I have a long luteal phase and my temps stay high until the end, which gives me a lot of false hope though it doesn't ~mean anything.~ I'd love to know if people who've stopped temping beyond conforming ovulation have found they prefer it.
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? This is a little heavy but I think a lot of people who know me would be really surprised to know that I don't drink anymore and haven't for three years. Both my parents are alcoholics and when I was 23, I felt like I saw my life playing out like theirs, and I quit. I still go out to bars with friends, though (and drink a club sofa with lime), and I never bring it up unless I'm explicitly asked about it, so I think the vast majority of people in my life haven't noticed.
Me: 26 DH: 26 and 10 days fewer Married 6/15 TTC #1: NTNP March 2016 TTC July 2016, September 2016- Let's Get This Party Charted
Testing: Nope Octopus. Week from today probably, assuming temps are still high.
R/R: This was my earliest O post-partum - it had previously been between 23-26 days, but when I was TTC#1 my "normal" O was cd 19-20, so I'm hoping to be back to "normal?" I put that in quotes because the cycle I actually conceived DD I ovulated day 31, so...I don't know if this is good news or not, but I'm happy about it. If I get a reasonable LP or a BFP i'll be even happier. DH was out of town for work during my FW, so timing isn't what I'd like, but I have a shot so it'll do. This is also the first cycle in my life where I have had ovulation cramping (if that's not what it was, it was random cramping for no reason and a huge coincidence). This makes me hopeful...before my first PP period, I had an ultrasound (long story) and the doctor saw multiple very large follies about to drop...she was like "these are beautiful, you'll probably cramp a bit when you ovulate because they're so large." I didn't cramp that time, but I'm hoping that the cramps this time mean that I dropped a good one!
CS/Q: Nope. Pretty standard, nothing to see here (though there is always a link in my siggy if you really want to check it out).
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? I was a contestant on the Price is Right (Bob Barker years). I was the last one called to contestant's row, and I didn't make it on stage (boo) but I got some lovely parting gifts, including a suitcase that I still use. :-)
Month/Cycle: Not sure how to answer this. I did two IUI's last fall, neither took. I am now in the TWW for my third IUI.
CD/DPO: I did the trigger last tuesday, insemination wednesday, don't know if I've actually O'd
Timing: Single so no sex happening over here
Testing: Oct 5th for pregnancy test
R/R: We had my 16 month old niece all weekend (we have her every weekend) and she's just so much fun to be around. I taught her this weekend that ducks say quack.
CS/Q: ???
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? I have hearing loss in both ears from a fireworks accident when I was 5. I also have anxiety and depression. I'm a twin.
R/R: it's monday... i saw pictures of myself from a party this weekend- I've gained some weight and I felt really embarrassed after I saw the photos/videos. Luckily I wasn't tagged in them. Plus a rude comment from FIL about how "I'm getting a gut"... guess I'm feeling a bit bummed today about it. On a positive note I've been religiously following a half marathon training plan for 2 weeks and eating somewhat better (except this weekend... yikes!) So I guess I'm proud of that and being proactive and doing something about it.
CS/Q: nope no temping this month
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? Probably my body image issues (see above) my husband used to pick on me about it to other people (i.e- can you believe she thinks she needs to lose weight?!) And I asked him to stop because it made me really uncomfortable. Other than that... no secret talents or anything but I really like my privacy so probably a lot of things! Haha
R/R: Still no AF today. Not sure what is going on or when to tell my OB/GYN I am getting negatives and have no period. Which is why I didn't bump all weekend. I was, and still am, in limbo and don't really fit in anywhere. So I am just over here like...
@EL824 to the bolded: you do not need to tell your OBGYN unless you have gone 60 days without a period. At that time, they may prescribe you Provera to jump start your period. If you aren't temping or having ultrasounds to confirm ovulation, then there is no way to know if/when you ovulated. You either ovulated later than usual or have not ovulated yet. There is no need to call your OBGYN/make an appointment at this point. Give it some time. I know it's easier said than done.

Testing: BFN this morning. Won't test again until the next pee party on Oct 1 of AF doesn't show by the 30th.
R/R: Had a dream last night that AF came. It seemed so real that I woke up thinking she was already here. Then I had a temp dip too. Then BFN. Great morning, haha!
CS/Q: I had a decent temp dip this morning but the house is also cooler than normal since it's cold (in the 40s) outside. Should I assume that could have affected my temp dip some?
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? I can make myself fake cry and used to do it to boyfriends in the past when I really wanted something (yeah, I know, that's bad). All I do is think of something slightly sad and the water works start flowing so quickly. Since becoming a mom, it's really bad though and I tear up at anything sad or sentimental so I feel like that's karma.

Anyone have some good apple recipes to share?
CS/Q: not really.
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? This one is hard, but except for the people close to me, no one knows that I have OCD and anxiety and that it infuriates me when people use OCD as just an excuse for being particular about something. When people say i am OCD about something, I just want to scream if you could live inside my head even a fraction of a day.
@beachbunnyxo123 so jealous of your time spent living in Spain! @Flinstone First I find out we're both redheads and now I see that we're both GAD girls I also hate the stigma associated with mental illness/anxiety/et al. I had a dream that I POAS and got a BFP.
CS/Q: Nope. Didn't sleep well enough to trust my temp this morning.
GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? When I was younger, I definitely would have said my anxiety. I was so embarrassed about the stigma that does with it. Ever since I attended counselling though, I have become pretty vocal about it. Which has really helped when working with teenagers because the ones struggling with anxiety feel like they can come to me when they need to talk. I really don't know what the answer would be now. I am pretty much an open book.

@EL824 After 60 days with no period and negatives test is when you would want to talk to your doctor about taking something to induce your period
@BrambleRose A lot of people do like to stop temping after O. I personally like to keep doing it because for one, it keeps me in the habit, and I also like to see if my temp drops so I know to to expect my period (though if you are an early tester, that's probably not necessary)
@beckij34 CS/Q stands for chart stalk/questions. If you're temping, you can post your chart. And whether or not you are temping, you can just ask questions about TTC
@bumpybump Some people's temps are effected by different house temps, but not everyone. I have found that my temps are not affected by it at all. You'll just have to get some more experience temping to see if it does affect you.
@mamashan12 That is not a temp drop - you are still way above coverline. Don't be concerned about it!

GTKY: What's something that most people don't know about you? That I have pretty extreme views on many (not all) societal issues. For example, I think we should get rid of all cars because they're awful and so many people die in car crashes and the world would be a much safer place if we just had good public transportation. I know it's never going to happen, but a girl can dream, right?
R/R:I kind of knew I was out yesterday because my temp dropped below cover line. It did bounce back up today, but BFN. Hopefully my period shows up pretty soon here. I'm not really in the mood for a long ass LP like last cycle.

That's true, if everybody gets them lol. It still doesn't solve my other issues with cars, though, like the insane traffic in major cities that would be much less of a problem if everyone was on public buses or subways. There are some initiatives to make car-free areas in some US cities, so that at least makes me happy.
@tripledaggerWed95976@BusinessWife my temp dropped below cover line at 5DPO. It's stayed elevated since. I definitely let it screw with my head so don't be like me!

R/R: The landlord wants to show the house and shop TODAY, he texted me this morning even though we were away all last week and left the key. Ughhh!!!
CS/Q: Nah, but I woke up to a temp drop this morning, and charts like mine is not being my friend now, so I'm bummed out, even though I know it's too early for it to mean anything.

GTKY: I have a benign heart murmur.
That I have pretty extreme views on many (not all) societal issues. For example, I think we should get rid of all cars because they're awful and so many people die in car crashes and the world would be a much safer place if we just had good public transportation. I know it's never going to happen, but a girl can dream, right?
Ummm nothing really important? Just silly things like my thumbs are double jointed
