hey y'all. So after nearly 2 years of TTC with my DH we got a BFP in December 2015. In February 2016 I had a MMC blighted ovum. We were crushed. The doctor told us to wait at least 1 cycle before trying again and so we did. Fast forward to September 2016 and still no BFP. I have read a lot of articles and threads saying it's easy to get pregnant after a miscarriage but for us that is not the case so it seems. I have 2 children from a previous marriage and after my MMC I had everything checked and the baby maker works lol so I don't know what to do. I am getting so discouraged and I have baby fever so bad. As does my DH. Is there anyone else who has had this problem then eventually got their BFP after almost a whole year after a BO? Any advice or encouraging words appreciated

I also got pregnant in dec 2015 and had a Blighted Ovum MMC in Feb 2016. This was my first pregnancy and we were devastated. I had a D&C in Feb, and waited 2 cycles to TTC again, and got pregnant again on my first try after the loss. This was May 2016. It ended up being a CP and lost it at 5weeks.
So the thing is that I could get pregnant easily after my first MC for a Blighted Ovum. But I couldn't stay pregnant. After this loss I was discovered to have high Insulin and high prolactin levels. So I was benched for some time, while taking care of this conditions with meds and diet. I am back TTC this cycle, hoping for the best!
I recommend you talk to your husband, and try to get his sperm tested. There are many things that can be diagnosed via this test, and it is very simple to do (unlike most of the tests performed on women). He could have a simple infection and the urologist can diagnose him and treat him accordingly.
I also recommend charting your cycles (temperature, cervical fluid, cervix position) as this will help you identify your most fertile days, and also will confirm that you are ovulating at all (because of the thermal shift).
Good luck!

It does sound like the next step is for your husband to get checked out. It's hardly fair for him to refuse when you've been checked. You're in this together, and this is NOT just a women's problem.
Good luck!
Have be you talked to him about why he won't get checked out? Is he just freaked out about having to give a sample? Will he feel like his "manhood" is lessened if there's something wrong with him? If he'll talk to you about why he's worried, then maybe you can come to a decision. Maybe someone else on here dealing with IF has the actual numbers, but if you've been trying for a year with no success, your chances of achieving pregnancy naturally in any given month are pretty low. Around 5% I think, but please don't quote me on that. Maybe if he understands the true chances, his desire for a kid will overcome his fears of testing.
The important thing is "when deciding how to best time intercourse, the frequency with which you make love should be a function of your combined fertility. That is, it should be determined by your partner's sperm count and the quality of your fertile cervical fluid"
So if your partner has low sperm count, and you try to have intercourse every day, it might not be the best idea, and she recommends trying every other day: "Lower sperm counts may need an extra day to build higher more fertile levels."
As I said before, it's vital to have sperm tested!
good luck!

I did get pregnant immediately after my first loss. And that pregnancy was unsuccessful as well. We are seeing a RE- that was the OB's advice. I wish I had a happy ending to share. But I am hoping we all do- and soon!
