Ovulation after mc?

I bled after my second mc from 9/2-9/9. I have started temping this cycle and am on CD 21 and I still am not seeing a temp shift due to ovulation. After my first mc and d&c my cycles were long (60 days) and I'm worrying that it will happen again. Is it possible I won't ovulate this month? Any ideas?

@carterh33 I'm sorry for you loss and that you are going through this. It's very possible that it may take some time for your body to regulate and ovulate again and it may not. Are you getting your HCG monitored? If you still have HCG in your system it may take a while to get back on track. My RE told me cycles post loss can be very unpredictable. I hope everything regulates soon for you. GL!

I'm pretty sure I ovulated CD 23 after my D&C even though my hcg that week was at an 8.  So you could just be ovulating late.  I normally ovulate late so that was normal for me.  Hope your cycle returns to normal for you!

@carterh33 Unfortunately, there is a wide range of experiences after a MC. After my first loss, I ovulated on CD19. After my second loss, I ovulated a little later, around CD23. That's still pretty early after a MC. Many ladies on here have gone 70+ days after a MC before their next period. I hope your body gets back on track sooner rather than later.

I'm sorry for your loss. It seems like everyone is different but I ovulated about 15 days after both losses.

@carterh33 I miscarried on 9/19 and I ovulated today, so CD13. I would have to login to mymonthlycycles to see when I ovulated after my first two losses, but those were ectopic and chemical. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss.

I'm one who had a longer cycle post-miscarriage and I don't believe that I actually ovulated the first cycle.  MC started on 2/17 and I got a period on 3/30.  I wasn't temping during this time, though, so I couldn't confirm ovulation.  Actually, I believe the next two cycles - which were 45+ days long each - were also annovulatory.  Finally, some seven months later, I actually appear to be ovulating normally.

My first cycle was 41 days, I ovulated on CD 30. I'm usually on CD 20 for a normal cycle. I think it's pretty normal to ovulate later.
