@Kate08Young yeah, and he is PISSED. It affects both me and my counterpart, and he approved all the expenses. So there's no reason we should not have been reimbursed. We do have a new payroll person who just started, which is why I missed being reimbursed the first time (CEO said no reimbursements until the next pay period, which we all agreed to because, poor guy, the last payroll person just up and left and this guy had no training). But we should have been this time. So my boss will raise hell on our behalf and get back to us before end of day today.

WTF people on the train who rush in past me to get all the seats, then pretend like they don't see my pregnant self standing. And I see them looking on the sly, it's not like they don't know. The one person who offered me a seat? The other pregnant lady who is probably further along than I am. Assholes.
@gowenc - people are such assholes. Seriously. I stood through 3 stops the other day before someone got up and this other woman, who stood next to me on the platform and definitely saw me rubbing my belly and wincing from bloating/braxton hicks/ligament pain (everything seems to peak as I'm leaving work!), literally races to the seat. I walked over just as her ass was hitting the seat and said "actually, do you mind?" and pointed at my belly.
I think we need to be mean. There was this woman with a physical disability that rode the train with me years ago that would, literally, walk on the train and say "I need a handicapped seat, someone needs to give me a seat" really loudly. I always found it rude, but I'm on my second pregnancy that involves public transit and I totally get it. People don't care.
@mrsmerc2015 You're right on. My tactic has been to stand really close to the most able bodied man on the train and make sure my pregnant belly is in their face as much as possible. Passive aggressive? Sure. When I get to the point where it's really painful to stand I'll just start asking people for their seats.
I'm with you guys. This keeps happening to me as well. People rush to the seats and then look at their phones and ignore me standing there uncomfortably. I have been offered a seat a few times, by young women. But more often I stand.
@dmontgo I think your mom and mine could be cut from the same cloth. *so many eye rolls*
@BenNSarah solidarity wtf for stomach problems. WHY IS ICE WATER GIVING ME REFLUX. Ugh.
WTF pregnancy brain. If you are from New England, you've likely heard of the Big E. It's a huge fair that happens annually and it's a place to celebrate New England and eat a crap ton of food. Anyway, i live less than 15min from it and there are certain routes and roads you just know to avoid. Today, without thought, I hopped on one of those routes and wound up in dead stopped traffic FORRREVVERRR. It was such a rookie move on my part. Ugh.
I live 30 minutes from the big E! I know I have hardly participated on this board, but I got excited that someone is from around here.
@gowenc and @mrsmerc2015 - After carrying two bags of binders and packed lunch and dinner on a bus everday with Boston bus drivers, I totally understand! The problem for me was the drivers not waiting half a second for me to grab a rail to hold onto. I learned quickly to rub my belly at the curb to alert drivers, which surprisingly helped. If I was angry enough I would definitely ask for a seat. But yea, I regret being shy because I felt I wasn't "big" enough.

@gowenc - I'm not sure if it will be similar or different for you, but my rib pain started at 27 weeks, got worse for a bit and then lightened up (every other day). Some of the STM's on this board recommended sitting less which helped!

@BenNSarah I also had reflux issues prepregnancy that became worse after I got pregnant. My insurance also doesn't cover diclegis and my OB wouldn't prescribe Zofran either. She told me diclegis is a combo of the unisom, b6 and an antinausea. So I take unisom 3x per day and b6 3x per day. I also take Phenergan 2x per day. The 25 mg is what finally worked for me. In addition, my doctor prescribed Pepcid 10 mg 2x per day. For me, that is what finally worked. It took me 22 weeks to figure out but I feel so much better. And I have to be consistent with when I take everything. Last Saturday I slept in and missed my first dose of all four and felt shitty all day.
