How far along are you? 12 weeks

How big is baby? A plum, a chicken nugget (this is perfect because we've been calling LO "the nugget")

Appointments this week? Tomorrow - no u/s, just a checkup and I'll get to hear the heartbeat!

Symptoms? Doing pretty okay as long as I eat something every 2-3 hours.  Diclegis is working and I feel *almost* normal most of the time.  Belly is noticeably bloated though so maxi dress day it is!   Can't wait for dresses, boots and leggings weather.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave: Coolest Louisiana morning so far today (a chilly 72 degrees, ha!!).  Supposed to be cooling into the 80's during the day by next week.  


This is the time of year I really envy you Northerners!

GTKY: Fall question: What's your favorite kind of pie (or alternate dessert if you're not a pie person)? Peach, strawberry rhubarb, and apple! Chocolate silk ain't bad either.  Mmmmm.... pie

Symptoms? Just when I start to feel "normal" again, I get hit full force with feeling terrible. I am struggling at work today - headache, very nauseous and tired. Oh and we are supposed to have friends over for dinner before bible study at church. I kinda want to cry and just go to bed and hide.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I posted this in the symptoms thread several days ago but didn't get any response - Is anyone else experiencing numbness/tingling after they wake up from sleeping (nap, bedtime, whatever)? Lately my right side from my hip down is this way when I wake up no matter what position I am sleeping in. It goes away as soon as I get up and move but it's still weird.

GTYK: Favorite Pie - Hmm, I just love pie! Probably chocolate peanut butter, peach or cherry. But really, I would probably eat just about any kind but coconut cream!

Symptoms?

Nausea is letting up as well as the headaches. I had a ton of energy last night which was nice, too. Oh and so far this week no tingly hands!

Rant/Rave/Questions? 

I'm officially in maternity clothes. I haven't told my office yet, so I'm taking satisfaction in trolling them for the time being. My coworker (who knows I'm pg) and I have been taking bets on who will ask first. I plan to tell them I'm just fat.

I like chocolate, apple, blueberry, and cherry pies. Now I want a piece of cherry pie!!

@mylittleirvz I've had some tingling in my hands, most usually in the middle of the night - not sure if I'm doing something weird in my sleep that is cutting off circulation, or if it's due to swelling as I've read.  A liiiiitle bit of tingling/numbness in my feet too - THAT one is probably due to swelling (I've noticed my tennis shoes are tighter than usual).  Haven't experienced it with an entire side of my body, but ask your OB if that's normal if you're concerned!

How far along are you? 11 weeks (my ticker is a day off and I'm too lazy to change it).

How big is baby? A lime.

Appointments this week? Nope, got nothing for two more weeks (I think?).

Symptoms? Everything is still pretty mild. I've had some random bouts of nausea that are short lived. I'm tired as hell, but I think that's mostly a result of a crazy work schedule for this year and chasing after a one year old.

Rant/Rave/Questions? The Tonight Dough ice cream (Ben and Jerry's) is HEAVEN!

GTKY: Fall question: What's your favorite kind of pie (or alternate dessert if you're not a pie person)? I like cupcakes. I also enjoy pumpkin spice (like, the flavoring), but NOT pumpkin pie (it's mostly a textural thing, but still...weird).

Appointments this week?  nope, next week! 

Symptoms? I've been unbelievably sick. We went to a wedding last weekend an hour outside Denver in a ski community ( read: winding roads when I'm already predisposed to motion sickness + altitude = barf). 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm just looking forward to feeling better so I can get back to doing (and eating) the things I enjoy.

I'm a baker so I pretty much love any kind of pie but I really enjoy the process of baking a pumpkin pie by using a pumpkin.

How far along are you? I am repeating week 9. 

How big is baby? Eastern tailed-blue butterfly.

Appointments this week? I had my first appointment yesterday. It was awesome. Finally got to see the little bean and hear it's heart beat! My EDD got adjusted from 4/20 to 4/26. My midwife said the bean looked more like an 8 weeker than a 9 weeker. I got all the paper work to do the first draw of the genetic testing, I'm pretty bummed we won't get to do the NT scan due to being out of town.

Symptoms? The usual. Nausea, fatigue, sore boobs, everything tastes metallic.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm kind of sad that my due date got pushed back. I feel so far behind now and I will probably be one of the last ladies to give birth in the BMB.

GTKY: Fall question: What's your favorite kind of pie (or alternate dessert if you're not a pie person)? I'm not much of a pie person but I love a classic apple pie.
